The Monster Within

She wished people could, no would, see beyond the monster sealed inside of her. The life of the Jinchuuriki was hard enough even without the prejudice caused by ignorance. They gave their lives to ensure the safety of villages and nations, the villages and nations gave them fear and hatred.

And oh how she wanted to change that. To be seen as the woman she was, not the beast's container, to be a person not a mere tool.

She was one of the lucky ones though, she had had a man fall in love with her ("She tricked him with the magic of the Kitsune." The old women whispered. "The Kitsune can do that, you know. Make a person fall in love with it."). But others of her kind were not. The old priest who had housed the Ichibi had spent his life imprisoned. Others fled their villages, preferring the life of a hermit to that of a known Jinchuuriki.

And now she was forced to look at her new born son, not even a day old and already cursed in life.

Kushina just hoped that Naruto would find the one person who would see him and not the monster within.

Thankyou for the prompts (But more are always welcome XD, format Title [Characters, this is optional]). I created a playlist today of all the Naruto OST, openings and endings I like. Speaking of those, the new ones are great. I love the animation of the opening, and song of the ending is slightly better.
