Poetic Justice

At the end of it all it was hard to say who had come out a winner. Technically the Allied Shinobi Forces were disbanded after the war, each returned to their own village and peace reigned despite the differences in the villages. Few retained close ties, save for the Sand and the Leaf.

Each village had lost much. The mystique of their hidden techniques was lost, corruption and greed was exposed. The Hidden Cloud had lost it's last Jinchuuriki and one half of the famed A&B duo. The Hidden Stone had lost it's secretive nature. The Hidden Mist lost four of the Seven swords, Chojuro having made a gift of them to Suigetsu. The Hidden Sand lost its reputation as politically unstable, somthing they had hidden behind.

And the Hidden Leaf . . . It had the highest death toll. Much of the chain of command in Konoha was gone. Justice, some said, for the inaction which led to the war in the first place.

I struggled with this, I have no idea why.
