"Just go back to the academy, you can't even do Ninjutsu." Might Gai curled his fist into a ball as the girl pushed past him. "You can't be a ninja with only Taijutsu, everyone knows that. Best to just give up now and avoid disappointment."
"Don't listen to her Gai." Genma grabbed his teammates shoulder. "There is no-one I would rather have on our team."
Gai didn't say anything as he shrugged Genma's hand of and punched a wall, leaving a reasonably sized dent in it.
"Hey chill out man!"
"Not enough." Gai punched the wall again, this time leaving a crack. "Still haven't trained hard enough."
"What are you talking about? You train harder than anyone."
"It's never enough." Gai looked at the wall he had all but destroyed. "Never enough."
"Gai!" His Sensei, a member of the Uchiha clan grabbed Gai's arm as he raised his arm to strike the wall again. "Snap out of it. Ninjutsu and Genjutsu aren't everything, even the strongest opponent can be beaten by hard work. You will do well if you remember that."
Gai wrenched his hand from his Sensei's grasp. "Yes Sensei."
