AN: So. Here's a new chapter.

By the way guys..I'm probably going to be a bit off because I'm sick and losing my voice on top of it..and I have to sing the Star-Spangled Banner tomorrow. In front of fifty-six people. Most of which I know. I'm freaking terrified because I keep getting off key at the high part because I'm sick and definitely not a soprano. My voice is not made for high notes. At all.

On another note, I've been in touch with America recently, and we have a new Spain and Japan now. And I made a new friend who's a fan of Hetalia! I'm preparing to be tackled Saturday, though, because one of her friends is staying with her for the weekend and she's already said that she was going to introduce me as England, and I told her..because the other girl was down about not getting to ride the bus home on Friday with us so she could meet our Prussia, I'm dragging his ass to the ball field.

But anyways..on with this.

To those who reviewed:

ThatRandomReview: Definitely! Oh well, let them think what they want. It means they don't really bug me. Besides, most of them at my school aren't Hetalia fans, I have nothing to talk to them about unless they're fans of Hetalia, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Glee, Supernatural or Merlin. Or Harry Potter. Outside of that..no. Well..maybe a game of back-yard, Sandlot style baseball, but that's it. Yeah, that just got away from me. Sorry.

Spamano4ever: Yeah.

Enjoy.

"Why the fucking Hell would you do something like that, you fucking bastard?!"Lovino yelled about a week and a half later as soon as he'd made it outside after school. He was glaring a hole through Antonio, who only gave a kind smile.

"Hola, Lovi."he greeted brightly.

Lovino's glare intensified. "Why?"he demanded.

Antonio shrugged, grin falling. "I wanted to help. You're working yourself to death and you're shutting down, Lovino. I'm worried about you. You've not been you recently, I only wanted to help."

Lovino stared at him for the longest before he responded. "I've told you, I don't want any help. I want to get back to normal on my own, Toni. I'm trying, okay? But I'm accepting any help, from anyone, because I'm sick of feeling dependent on someone else."

Antonio frowned. "I get it, really..but..I know how you are. You'll work until you black out if you aren't made to stop. And we've had enough scares, okay? I don't want to lose you."

Lovino sighed. "I'm not going anywhere,"he remarked. "And apparently, no, you don't get it."

"Then explain it to me, Romano!"Antonio snapped.

Lovino looked like he had been hit and he took two steps back away from Antonio, who covered his mouth immediately.

After a moment of silence rang in the group, Antonio lowered his hand and spoke softly. "Lovi..."

"How could you...you told me you'd never..."Lovino said before he shook his head and turned and ran.

"Lovi!"Antonio called after him.

Feliciano stared after his brother, eyes full of tears before he looked to Antonio.

Antonio met his gaze after a few moments.

Felciaino spoke softly. "You realize he's never going to trust you again, right? He's told you everything that happened to him..he made you promise not to call him Romano because he didn't want to feel like you betrayed his trust. And a lot of people have."

Raivis sighed. "And there's just one less person he's hanging on for."he commented. He shook his head. "I'll go do some damage control,"he added, taking off after Lovino.

Antonio seemed confused, so Toris spoke up. "There's something about Lovino that we didn't know until quite recently as far as the Mafia crap goes. If someone goes and breaks a promise like that one to him, especially someone he trusts as much as he did you...once it's broken, his tie to them is gone and it's one less person between him and what he sees as peace."

"Death."Gilbert finished. "He wrote a free write assignment on it last year and had to read it to the class..I thought he was kidding."

Antonio's eyes filled with horror, but he forced himself to stay put.
Toris spoke softly. "Listen, Toni..he'll forgive you. I promise. But you have to work with him. He's strange, and he's damaged, but he's been happier than I've seen him while he was with you and I was around to see it."

Antonio met his eyes before he nodded, thinking over ways he could fix it before he shook his head. "You guys wait for Lovi...I'm going to go."he said softly before he headed off.

Ludwig sighed once he was gone. "Well, there's something I didn't expect.."he commented dryly.

Gilbert met his brother's gaze before he spoke. "I don't think any of us expected it."

That evening, Lovino stayed away from the group as much as possible. He was glad he had work, it made it easier. But it also made it to a point where people were asking him if he was okay. He didn't offer an answer. He didn't really want to talk with anyone more than he had to.

And here it is. Right before school. Fun.
