AN: So..after hanging out with Cora and Gayla again..and going to see Prussia again...I'm actually rather exhausted. And I'm burnt pretty badly. I'm so red I look like a tomato! It's sad..
Anyways..here. There's a cosplay tomorrow at school..and..yeah.
To those who reviewed:
ThatRandomReview: Yeah, I get it. It's all I ever have, though, because I have no life. You'll understand her motives soon enough, I promise.
ItalyAllday: You'll understand her motives soon. Aw, danke! That means a lot to me!
chibiromano: Glad you like the story!
Spamano4ever: Yeah..
Enjoy.
Days passed, and Lovino snapped more often than he had before the trip to Italy and back.
After a while, Gilbert got tired of it and spoke up. "Alright, what the hell is wrong with you, Lovino?"he snapped. "You're not normally like this."
"Nothing is fucking wrong, bastard."Lovino snipped. "I just..I need time away from all this crap, okay?"
"Why not say something then instead of snapping everytime someone so much as looks as you?"
Lovino huffed. "Because I don't know how!"
Silence fell and Antonio spoke softly. "Lovi..."
Lovino's eyes flashed to Antonio's, and the Spaniard held his arms open for him.
Lovino hesitated, but finally relented and moved to where Antonio could wrap his arms around him.
After that, things settled a bit again.
Sometime after midnight that night, after Lovino had already gone to sleep against Antonio while the Spaniard had his arms wrapped tightly around the Italian, Raivis and Toris spoke up.
"You know..it's kind of worrisome that he's acting like this again."Raivis said. "He's not done this since his time with the mafia..and well, going back to Italy, he was bound to have ran into one of the old mafia guys there.."
Gilbert scowled. "We should've remembered that.."
Toris shrugged. "He's alright, though. At least, I'd hope he is. But either way, he's back now, and he's safe, so.."
This got some nods.
That night was full of talk that seemed important to the group, but to an outsider, it would be the mindless chatter of a group of friends reminiscing on the old times.
Lovino woke up to see the others still asleep and gave a soft smile as he curled further into Antonio's arms. He'd missed waking up in his boyfriend's arms. He'd missed the comfort of waking up near his friends and his fratellino. Most of all, he'd missed the fact that he didn't have to fear for his safety with the others. He knew he was safe.
If someone were to ask the elder Italian what his sanctuary was, he would respond anywhere with his friends and brother. Literally anywhere. They were his sanctuary, there was no set place, just wherever they were. Because wherever they were was where the comforting feeling of safety was.
And he wouldn't trade that for the world.
Yeah, yeah, it's short. Whatever. I'm tired and I need some sleep so I don't go off on people tomorrow at school during this freaking trainwreck cosplay...
