AN: 'Ello, loves.

So..here's the deal, guys..tomorrow's Disney Day. And guess what. I cannot dress as the Mad Hatter due to lack of costume for it. So I'm dressing as one of the 2p characters..bumping the number up to two. Tomorrow I'm cosplaying as 2p Japan. Fun? I think so.

The rest of the weekend literally flew by for the group. When Lovino and Antonio entered the school building Monday morning, after hanging back from the others to talk, they walked straight into an argument.

"Nobody said you had to do anything, Gilbert!"Matthew snapped. "I'm not making you stay. But if you want to go back to being a freaking jerk, then I'm done with you."

Gilbert was staring at Matthew in cold surprise.

Lovino and Antonio gave the two worried looks, but they were kept from interupting by Raivis.

"They've been at it since they walked in..and..really..it might be good, because they've been so tense around each other."Raivis said softly. "Gil's under a lot of pressure from his and Ludwig's parents, who've been bugging them both recently."

Lovino frowned. "That's not even right on those two. Ludwig's actually been really calm about it all, apparently."

"It's mostly Gil taking the heat for it."Raivis offered.

Gilbert had missed a beat, but now was firing back. "Matthew, I meant it when I said that I loved you, alright? I know I've been acting like a jerk and like I didn't mean it, but I swear I did. Just...I'm not used to this, alright? I never have been."he said, voice much softer than Matthew's, and he wasn't yelling.

This went on for a few more moments before Gilbert did start yelling back at Matthew, surprising everyone.

"Listen, I'm trying my damnedest right now, but you have no idea how hard this shit is, alright?"

Matthew growled. "You're joking."he spat. "I'm not having this conversation with you."

Gilbert shook his head. "Mattie..I don't want to hurt you. That's why I've been so quiet. I don't want to hurt you."

Alfred wandered over right about then and gave Gilbert a searching look before he interupted. "May I ask what's going on?"he asked. His voice was much more serious than normal.

Gilbert looked away.

Matthew spoke up. "It's nothing, Al.."he said softly. He gave Gilbert a long look. "I mean it, Gil...if you want to leave, then by all means, leave. But I'm not saying the final word. It's your choice. Let me know what you decide."

The day was rather tense after that. Lovino couldn't believe that Matthew and Gilbert had had a falling out earlier. They had seemed so happy before.

Even so, by the end of the day, things had settled quite a bit.

Gilbert had decided that it wasn't worth losing Matthew, whatever was going on, as Lovino found out after school. He was just glad that things were calm again.

Not my best work. But I'm cramped for time and still have another chapter to type for my new story - 2p, this time.
