Carpet Diem Part 1
At the mystery shack, upstairs in the attic, Mabel is having a sleepover with Brenda and Candy. Right now, they're have girl time.
"Alright, girls! Let's show this board game that we can get boys!" shouted Mabel excited, throwing a golf ball on the floor, and it bounces off the floor and breaks the window, and flies out the window.
"OW! THE HEAD! IT HIT ME RIGHT ON THE HEAD!" shouted Dipper in pain.
"Is your brother gonna be okay out there?" asked Candy worriedly.
"Of course! Dipper loves the wilderness." said Mabel positive.
Outside, Dipper was sleeping against the wall, and a wolf was chewing his leg. Almost as if he knew it was there, Dipper kicked the wolf in the face, and it scurried off.
The next morning, Mabel awakens and finds that the attic is a mess. She looks up at the ceiling, and sees that Candy is taped to it.
"What's up, girlfriend?" she said, falling to the ground. "Ow."
Brenda walks out of the closet and says "I don't know what I was kissing in there, but I have no regrets!"
Dipper walks into the room and says "I think a wolf was biting my leg last night. Do I look like I'm getting rabies?" The girls just shudder in disgust. "That's what I thought. See? This would be way more easier to handle if I had my own room!"
"Yeah yeah." said Mabel jokingly. "Ya really think there's some kind of hidden room in the shack?"
A movement of something huge is heard, and Sous shouts from downstairs "DUDES! THERE'S SOME KIND OF HIDDEN ROOM IN THE SHACK!"
Downstairs, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, Sous, Wendy, Brenda, and Candy, are standing by a hidden door.
"So I decided to clean behind the bookcases, and then POOF! I find this hidden door!" said Sous amazed. "I tell ya, dudes. This place is full of secrets."
Dipper opens the door, and it turns out that the hidden room is actually a bedroom. Dipper is stunned in amazement by this and says "Whoa. Awesome. Hey, Uncle Stan? Did you know about this room?"
"If I did, ya think I would recognize it?" said Stan sarcastically.
"Point taken. Also, room taken! I call first dibs!"
"Hey, let's not forget one thing: Ya gotta bring most of your stuff down here." Stan goes back to watching TV.
"I don't see what your problem is with Mabel having her friends over for a sleepover every night is." said Wendy. "Maybe you should just stick to sharing the same room."
"Oh, come on, Wendy. We're a couple! I thought you were suppose to take MY side!" said Dipper annoyed.
"I can take anybody's side, Dipper! For example, I sometimes take Mabel's side"
"It's true!" said Mabel. "Hey girls? Who wants to give Dipper a makeover?"
Mabel, Brenda, Candy, Wendy, and Sous run towards Dipper and pile on top of him. Suddenly, a powerful shock wave occurs, and the pile is scattered across the rug. Dipper gets up.
"Ugh. What the heck just happened?" he said. Looking at his hand, he realizes that he's not looking at HIS hand, but at Mabel's hand. "What the? Did we just...switch bodies?!"
It just so happens they did. Dipper is Mabel, Mabel is Dipper, Candy is Brenda, Brenda is Candy, Wendy is Sous, and Sous is Wendy. They all scream in fright.
"How did this happen?" asked Brenda freaked out. "All we did was pile on top of Dipper!"
Dipper notices a note on the carpet and reads it "Electron carpet: designed to make shocks so powerful, they allow the user to switch bodies."
"Well, that proves that Stan didn't know a thing about this room." said Wendy. "I mean, he doesn't even believe in the supernatural."
"Either Stan does believe in the supernatural, or someone use to live in this place before Stan, and hid this room from the outside world, considering this carpet."
"I'm gonna have to go with the second theory, dude." said Sous.
Waddles waltzes into the room and sits by Dipper, thinking he is Mabel. I mean, he is Mabel physically, but not mentally.
"Huh. I don't know about you guys, but I bet that we couldn't last the whole day in each others shoes. So to speak." said Dipper getting an idea. "Ya know, to better understand each others perspectives, we should spend the whole day in each others bodies."
"Wait. Where are you going with this, Dipper." asked Candy confused.
"I'm just saying, maybe I can spend the next 24 hrs with Brenda and Candy, Sous can go do lumberjack stuff as Wendy, Mabel can have weird conversations with Uncle Stan as me, and Wendy can do mechanical stuff as Sous." Dipper looks at Waddles and says "Am I right?"
Waddles just snorts and rubs against Dipper's arm. Dipper says "I'm gonna take that as a yes." while patting Waddles on the head.
"I don't know, Dipper. This idea of yours seems kinda of awkward and creepy." said Wendy nervously. "Where did that idea even come from?"
"From Waddles sitting beside me thinking I was Mabel." said Dipper, putting Waddles on his lap. "Think about it. How many times have you seen people switch bodies and had to live each others lives?"
"Once on Freaky Friday." answered Sous.
"Okay. I suppose that would be a safe assumption." said Dipper, petting Waddles on the head. "Hey, girls. Let's go that girly stuff Mabel likes to do."
"Will you let us do your hair and your face?" asked Brenda.
"Sure, why not. It's not my face, so what do I have to worry about."
"WE'RE GONNA MAKE YOU PRETTY!" shouted Candy and Brenda, pulling Dipper upstairs into the attic.
The rest of the gang leave the room, and head off to live each others lives in each others bodies.
What they didn't know was that Stan was coming into the room to check it out, and noticed the carpet on the floor and thought it was ugly.
"Geez. Dipper probably wouldn't this old dinosaur in his own room. I'll just throw it out for him." said Stan, deciding to do a good deed for Dipper.
Stan rolls up the rug, picks it up, and throws it in the dumpster. Think that's bad? Here's what worst: It's trash day!
End of chapter. I'm sick today, so I decided to take advantage of it, and update my story. After this, I won't update again until February. Ciao.
