AN: Hey, guys. Here's a new chappie for ya! Performance day tomorrow, I'm feeling pretty good about it right now.

To those who reviewed:

ItalyAllday: It is fun..kinda. When you can avoid all the freaking gits in the school. It's hard, because everyone else things you're a freak for doing something like cosplay. And even then, the cosplaying has become a rarity. We're working on planning another one..like...now..when we can.

Spamano4ever: Danke! I know! I hate forgetting stuff! It just gives me a mini panic attack and then gets in a freaking awful, panicky mood and nobody likes me when I get like that..

Luvrainluv: I was. I was also often around the other dubs last year..I'm not so much anymore, which sucks. You CANNOT live without having at least ONE leaf war. Or you haven't lived. And it does. We try to keep in touch..but it's a bit harder than I expected.

Enjoy.

That evening, Lovino was met with the normal scene of a fall evening when it came to his brother - everyone was outside, playing in the leaves. He didn't ask. He just went inside and got changed before joining them.

Antonio grinned at him from where he was.

The next hour was spent full of laughter and teasing.

Later on, once the stars came out, the group collapsed in the living room of Antonio's house near a fire with hot drinks and just chatted for a while. It was a nice change.

Antonio smiled as Lovino leaned against him. It was something they had picked up the habit of doing since they had been together. The Spaniard didn't shift much, only enough so that he could wrap his arms around Lovino, who smiled faintly.

Feliciano spoke up. "So! I was thinking! Maybe we could go to a haunted house or something this year for Halloween!"

Lovino gave him a deadpan look before he shook his head. "I don't know about that Feli.."he said softly.

"Aw..Lovi! Why not?!"

"Because,"Lovino said. "They're never any fun."

Antonio grinned. "This one will be. I promise. I know of a really good one, just outside town."

Lovino looked up at him before he nodded in agreement. "Fine."he said.

"Gracias, Lovi.."Antonio said softly, stealing a soft kiss.

Gilbert gagged and called out a soft, "Get a room!"

Lovino flipped him off as he pulled away from Antonio.

That night was one of the calmest for the group, but Antonio and Lovino stayed up after everyone else had gone to bed and were talking quietly.

"So, why are you so hesitant to go to a haunted house?"Antonio asked.

Lovino gave a faint smile. "Because...that's usually where a lot of trouble happens...and I've had enough of that."

Antonio nodded in understanding. "Alright. Well, I promise that nothing's going to happen to you or any of the rest of us."he said softly.

Lovino smiled softly and leaned up to kiss him softly before he settled back down. "Get some sleep, 'Toni. Ti amo."

Antonio grinned faintly. "Night. Te amo."

Antonio stayed awake after Lovino fell asleep, listening to the Italian's breathing as he thought. He understood Lovino's reasonings, but it worried him that he knew such a thing so well that he had begun to fear it. It worried him because it made him wonder what all he'd been through to make him fear that kind of trouble.

But he wouldn't bring it up. He didn't want to fight.

Here ya go.
