The Land Before Swine Part 2
Sous, the old kook, Sheriff Blubs, Deputy Dur-land, and Bobby stare in shock, depression and anguish at what they just experience.
"Aw, dudes. It's all my fault. I'm a bad leader, aren't I?" said Sous heartbroken.
"Sous, I can't lie to you, I wish Dipper was here." said Blubs sadly.
"Yeah! And darn tooting, I miss that boy!" said the old kook with tears in his eyes. "If only there was some way of finding Mabel and that pig on our own!"
Sous looks up, brightens up, and thinks up a plan. "Dudes! Maybe there is! Birds fly in one direction, so if we can follow that same way the pterodactyl went, we might just have a chance of saving Mabel and Waddles!"
"Aw flabbergast, Sous! You've done it again!"
"Hey like, that's why I'm the leader."
Meanwhile, with Mabel and Waddles, they are still being taken by the pterodactyl to its nest.
"Waddles, if I die first, I want you to escape the nest, find Dipper, and take good care of him!" said Mabel scared. Waddles oinks in promise.
The pterodactyl reaches its nest, and drops Mabel and Waddles in it. Because of falling from such a height, Mabel seems to have scraped her knee. She wails in pain. Waddles runs over to her, and rubs her arm, trying to comfort her. Mabel accepts this comfort, and scratches him behind his ear. Suddenly, it starts to rain, considering that there were flying towards a storm cloud, which just so happens to be above the nest. It starts pouring down rain, and Mabel looks at Waddles with tears in her eyes.
"Waddles, this might be the last time I ever see you again. Go find and take care of Dipper! Escape! Run!" said Mabel pointing to the forest, motioning for Waddles to escape the nest. Waddles jumps off the edge of the nest, and starts climbing down the tree. He lands with a humph oink. "Good boy! Now go find Dipper and never leave his side!" Waddles runs to off to search for Dipper.
Meanwhile, Sous, the old kook, Blubs, Dur-land, and Bobby continue searching for the nest.
"Uh guys, I think we're lost." said Sous unsure about where they are.
"You're just saying that because we don't know where we are." said Blubs sarcastically.
"Face it. We're never gonna find Dipper, Mabel, or Waddles. Or the pterodactyl's nest." said Dur-land sadly.
"Well that part's itchy. It's right there!" said Bobby pointing a enormous nest on a enormous tree. "And it's only a feet away from us!"
"Bobby! You found it!" said the old kook happily.
"Yeah! I did, didn't I? And something tells me Mabel and Waddles are right up there!"
"Okay. Now let me do the talking, okay. Remember, I'M the leader." said Sous reassuringly.
The group walk to the tree with the nest in it, and look up to see how high the nest is.
"MABEL!? DUDE, YOU UP THERE!?" called Sous worriedly.
"SOUS! IS THAT YOU!? HELP!" shouted Mabel pleadingly.
"Dudes, one of us has to get up there! As leader, I volunteer the new guy!"
"Not a problem! I ain't just a salesman! I've been climbing trees since I was ten!" said Bobby who begins to climb up the tree.
"Uh Sous, if Wendy was here right now, would you make her go up there instead?" asked Blubs worrying about Bobby.
"Dipper used to love hanging out with Wendy. If only he was here." said Sous sadly.
Bobby reaches the top of the tree, despite the strong winds, the pouring rain, and the lightning. He climbs up the nest, and sees Mabel clinging her arms for warmth. "Come on, kid! Let's get you down!"
"I can't move! My leg is scraped, and I think I'm getting sick!" said Mabel, who sneezes, coughs, and sniffles. "Can you carry me? My brother used to carry me to bed when I was sick!"
"And I'll bet he still will we he's found!" said Bobby comfortingly. Suddenly, the pterodactyl flies down to the nest. Bobby scream in terror. But before the dinosaur can eat him, something jumps onto its back.
"OH NO YOU DON'T! NOBODY MESSES WITH MY SISTER BUT ME!" shouted the guy who sounded familiar.
Mabel recognizes the voice. "Dipper!? Is that you!?"
"A LITTLE PIGGY TOLD ME THAT YOU WERE IN TROUBLE THE MOMENT HE FOUND ME!" shouted Dipper, turning his back to show Mabel that Waddles is clinging to his back.
"WADDLES!" shouted Mabel happily.
Suddenly, the pterodactyl takes flight, and Dipper starts punching the beast in the face. Pulling out his spear, Dipper prepares a mighty finisher and shouts "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR MESSING WITH MY SISTER!" He stabs the dinosaur through the head. The pterodactyl convulses, starts to fall out of the sky, and lands where the whole group can see them: On the side of a hill. To make things worst, the beast landed on its back, and it seems to have crushed Dipper and Waddles, considering they were still on it. The gang gasps in shock and anguish.
"NO!" shouted Mabel heartbroken. "WADDLES! DIPPER!"
"No! NO!" shouted Sous heartbroken.
"This can't be happening!" shouted Blubs in denial about what happened.
Bobby climbs down the tree with the heartbroken sick scraped knee Mabel in his arms. He reaches the bottom and sets Mabel down.
"I'm...sorry for your lost, ma'am." said Bobby sadly. "I hope there is something I can do for you to cheer you up."
Mabel sneezes multiple times, and Sous goes over to her, and feels her head.
"Dudes, she sick! And leg is scraped! We need to bet back to the shack!" said Sous worriedly. The gang start their journey back to the shack.
Meanwhile, on the side of the hill, the Jurassic Park reject appears to be dead. Waddles gets up from where he landed safely and walks over to it.
Waddles sees Dipper's arm, goes over to it and nuzzles it with his nose. Suddenly, the arm moves and pats Waddles on the head.
Waddles is shocked to see the arm moving. The arm starts pushing on the dead dinosaur, and Waddles helps. Dipper crawls out of the underside.
Dipper appears to be bruised, bleeding, and barely conscious. But he can still move. He sits up a bit, ignoring the pain in his body.
"Good pig." he said weakly, scratching Waddles behind the ear. The two lie down, cuddle each other for warmth, and fall asleep together.
End of chapter. Wow! Dipper is lucky to be alive! Those muscles must've really saved him. He and Waddles have a long road ahead of em. Ciao.
