Fan-Girl

"Matsuri."

"Lady Temari." Matsuri began to stand up.

"Stay seated and how many times have I told you not to call me 'Lady'?" Temari grabbed a chair and sat at the desk opposite Matsuri. "You know how I'm moving to Konoha?"

"The village won't shut up about it." Matsuri grinned. "And I think Kankuro and Gaara want to kill him."

"You're going to look after them for me, right?"

"I already make sure all the paperwork is done and that they don't forget meetings." Matsuri returned to her work. "I can handle it. I know the security detail of the tower and the village inside and out, have stood in for you at meetings, Kankuro has been making me practice with him for the last month. I think we'll be fine."

"You have to make sure they eat and sleep." Temari looked deadly serious. "At least with Gaara."

"I know."

"And that they don't offend ambassadors."

"Yes."

"And that they –"

"Temari." Matsuri reached over and placed a hand on her friend and mentors arm. "They'll be fine. We'll be fine. We're all adults now. I think that they will be able to run a country without supervision."

"Thanks, Matsuri." Temari smiled. "I keep forgetting that you've grown up a lot as well. You aren't a little fan-girl anymore."

"No. Now I'm a woman with a giant ass fan, and job to do."

I don't know why but writing these makes me insanely happy.
