After that, things settled into a new routine. The group tried helping Lovino, as much as the Italian would allow, and Feliciano made sure his brother stayed relatively calm throughout school.
Things there had gotten a bit better since the previous year, after all the crap that happened, but there were still people who loved tormenting the elder of the brothers when he was on his own.
It was obvious to the group when those days happened because Lovino always came out of the school to meet up in a pissy mood those days. Half of them were on days where he had to work, so he made sure he was calm before he went in to work, just so he didn't get too many worried questions from his coworkers and the regulars.
On Wednesday, things got turned around. Lovino came out of the school looking pissed, but he said nothing. Just spared the group a look before he shook his head and headed off so he could get to work.
Antonio sighed, but didn't go after him. He'd learned the hard way not to go after him if he left in a mood. He just hoped that work went well for the Italian, because there wasn't much they could do about helping Lovino at times like these.
But it was obvious to the group when Lovino came back home after work that he still wasn't in the best of moods.
Nobody really said anything to Lovino after figuring out that he was still in one of his moods.
That night was interesting, to say the least. Lovino refused to have any help in making dinner, which wasn't anything too new, but it did catch everyone off guard.
Things had been going so well as far as getting Lovino to open up a bit more, and everything just collapes on them. It just didn't feel right anymore. It didn't fit.
After dinner, Lovino once again refused to have anyone help wash up, and when it came time for bed, he kept himself seperate from the others.
Antonio wasn't happy about being away from Lovino, but he didn't comment. He let his Italian be, not wanting to get screamed at for trying to help. He just hoped that it would be a peaceful night.
About two hours later proved that it wasn't going to be, though. Antonio woke up to soft sobs, something he wasn't used to hearing anymore. It had been too long since he woke up to that. He rubbed his eyes and glanced around to see Lovino's shoulders shaking. He frowned in worry and moved to sit with Lovino, pulling him into a gentle embrace. "Shh...it's okay Lovi...you're okay.."he said quietly, careful not to wake anyone else up.
Lovino turned to hide his face against Antonio's chest, muffling his sobs as he did so.
Antonio felt his heart break as he watched Lovino sob into his chest. This wasn't right. Nobody should get to do something so bad that it would result in this sort of reaction out of someone like Lovino, who wasn't keen on emotions anyways.
It wasn't right that someone would hurt another person so badly that they couldn't sleep half the night.
Antonio kissed the top of Lovino's head as the Italian stopped sobbing and his breathing evened in the tale-tell of sleep. His frown deepened. His Lovi had just cried himself back to sleep against him. That was something that just didn't happen. He didn't know what his reaction should be.
So, he didn't really react. He just fell back to sleep as well after making sure that both him and Lovino were comfortable.
Oh god, guys. This is keeping me from a fucking panic attack right now...
Day hanging out with some friends, new friends as well as old. Luna was there. It was in Fort Oglethorpe and we got stopped on the way back home. I was having a fucking anxiety attack in the passenger seat.
My family doesn't know. They aren't going to fucking know.
Busted taillight. That's what it was about. The fucking idiot followed us through the Battlefield about it. It's bullshit!
Ugh, I'm having this little freak out. We spent the rest of the way back here to LaFayette laughing so we wouldn't start crying. We cursed the entire way back. The last thing I had to get out of my system before walking in my house was 'Fuck this shit!' That scared the shit outta me! That's the second time I've been in a car with a friend and got pulled over. The first time I didn't realize what was going on, though. This time I did.
God damn it!
I'm done here. I need sleep, I need food, and I need a fucking break. Well...I'm back guys!
Fuck.
