"Hey." The voice cut through her foggy mind as she blinked into wakefulness. "How do you feel?"
"What happened?" Ino turned her head until she saw her husband. "Where am I? Sai, where are the kids?"
"Relax." He placed a hand on her shoulder as she tried to push herself up. "The kids are at home. You're in the hospital. There was an accident on your mission. You were badly injured, your -" His voice broke as he grabbed her left hand. "Your right arm was ripped off by whatever attacked you. Sakura and Tsunade have been talking about new pros -"
She blinked as she looked up it him. "It's gone?" She looked at her right side. "It's gone." She blinked as she held in tears. "Is Tenten alright?"
"She's fine. She dragged you to the gates of Konoha herself." He broke down in tears. "Kami you have no idea how glad I am you made it."
"No." She attempted a smile. "Don't cry. I made it." She pushed herself up and wrapped her arm around his neck. "I'm here. You're here. We're alive. We'll make it through this." She felt the wetness well up in her eyes. "We're going to be ok. We just have to be strong."
