Sweet:I'm sorry that I didn't updated for like three months! But, I skipped the race quickly to the Second Phase. And Kusa-chan is not in thechapter cause Rosie teleported Kusa using her pocket. Now, Kusa is at home now.

"So, this is the Second Phase of the exam. I wish you all good luck." Satotz said and left the examiners.

Rosie sighed.

'So, I heard Menchi-chan and Buhara-kun were the examinee's this year...' Rosie thought and chuckled.

"Um... Oba-chan?" Gon asked.

Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio saw Rosie chuckling to herself. I mean, that is weird, right?

"Why are you laughing?" Killua asked too.

Rosie then sweat dropped and said "Oh, n-no! I was just remebering something hilarious!" and laughed nervously.

When the gates of the phase opened, all the examiners looked at the sprawling garden and mansion with awe.

And a REALLY loud growling sound of a stomach.

Rosie smiled as she saw Menchi and Buhara looking proud.

'Menchi sure has grown... and Buhara has um... gained a LOT of weight.' Rosie thought while sweat dropping.

"Welcome to the 2nd Phase of the Hunter Exam, I'm Menchi and this is Buhara" Menchi said.

Menchi signalled everyone to come in and they did.

"Are you hungry Buhara?" Menchi asked while she turned to him.

"Yeah, you don't know how much." Buhara said and he patted his stomach.

Rosie tried to laugh at the scene. 'They look like a mother and her fat son' Rosie thought.

But, she didn't laugh, for it will embarass her in front of the examiners.

"Well, there you have it, then the next test for the Hunter Exam will be..." Menchi paused for a little dramatic effect.

"Cooking!" Menchi said loudly and proudly. (THAT RHYMED).

The examinees all showed a look of surprise while Rosie just clapped of happiness.

"Cooking?!" One examinee said from the crowd.

"Seriously!?" Another said, and many whispers broke out of the crowd.

"C-cooking!? I don't know how to cook!" Leorio exclaimed.

"I didn't expect this kind of test..." Kurapika said.

"Aw... just give it a chance! It might be fun!" Rosie said happily and I think some sparkles appeared when she smiled.

All of them sweat dropped.

After what Menchi said that they need to catch pigs, Rosie smirked and quickly ran to the forest alone leaving the examinees behind.

'Hm... Menchi and Buhara just wanted to try and scare the examinees.' Rosie thought.

Rosie sighed.

'The examinees this year are still rough and are big meanies!'Rosie thought and pouted cutely.

Rosie then saw a big boar eating some bones.

"Ah! I found one at last!" Rosie said happily and ran to the boar.

The boar saw her and thought she was an intruder; which she is.

Before the boar could attack, Rosie hit it at the forehead with maximum speed.

The boar fainted and Rosie landed on the ground with her bare feet.

Rosie looked left then right, behind and above. She sighed in relief.

'It's a good thing nobody saw that, if they did, they would get the boar quickly and easily.' Rosie stretched and went to the boar.

She pushed the boar easily and brought it to the mansion.

She saw Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio bumping into eachother. She then made a goofy smile.

'Those three look like a cute and happy family.' Rosie thought happily.

And before she knew it, she was the first one to arrive at the 2nd Phase with a big boar.

Menchi saw her with a face of surprise.

'Wow, this girl is really good! But...' Menchi thought and smirked.

'When they know how tough I am, all of them will fail!' Menchi thought and mentally laughed evilly.

Rosie saw her and smiled at her while wearing an frilly pink apron.

Menchi was confused why Rosie smiled at her.

"Your name is Menchi, right?" Rosie asked suddenly breaking the silence.

Menchi flinched and nodded slowly.

Rosie smiled and said "I look forward to hear your praise soon!"

Menchi and Buhara sweat dropped.

'I-Isn't she scared?!' Menchi and Buhara thought simultaneously.

Rosie started cooking.

'I'll make my special pig soup!' Rosie thought and started cutting the onions with a knife.

Then, Rosie heard some footsteps; a LOT of footsteps of groups of people running.

Rosie, Menchi and Buhara turned to see the examinees finally here.

Rosie put her knife down on a nearby counter and waved at the 'family' and said "Hey guys!" with a large smile on her face.

"Eh?! Oba-chan?! You got here first!?" Gon and Killua asked with surprised.

Rosie nodded happily and said "Now, stop talking and start cooking! We don't have much time!"

Everyone started cooking. Well, they just grilled, and Rosie was cooking.

"Huh! This is too easy!" One applicant said.

"Ne, Oba-chan?" Gon asked.

Oba-chan looked at Gon who was taller than her and tiltted her head. "Yes?" She asked.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Oh, this? Oh, I'm just stirring the soup for my pig soup. Do you want to try a bit?" Rosie asked.

Gon nodded his head like a puppy while Rosie chuckled and took the spoon and blew so that it won't burn Gon's tongue.

"Here, say ah~" Rosie said and Gon took a sip of the soup.

Gon smiled happily and said "It's really good!" Gon said.

Killua saw that and he felt a little angry.

'One day, I'll make that girl pay. I'll make her pay for being that close with Gon. I'LL MAKE HER PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!' Killua thought angrily.

Kurapika and Leorio just sweat dropped.

"Um... Killua? Are you okay?" Kurapika asked.

Killua just turned to them with a shota smile.

"Un!" He answered. Which was creepy.

Kurapika and Leorio were terrified and continued grilling.

Back to Rosie and Gon.

"Now, go and continue cooking, I need to finish this." Rosie said and continued stirring the soup.

Before Gon went back to his counter, Rosie remembered something. "Oh, Gon?" Rosie asked.

Gon turned and asked "Yes?"

"How many woman have you dated?" Rosie asked.

Killua, Kurapika and Leorio heard Rosie's question and sweat dropped.

"Oh, I don't remember, some of them were with Aunt Mito! Why?" Gon said.

That made Killua, Kurapika and Leorio faint.

'Gon had gone to dates before?!' The three of them thought.

"Oh, I just wanted to know because you act really sweet until my teeth rot." Rosie said.

Gon was confused but he just shrugged and went back to his counter.

'Gon, he really is sweet just like-

After a lot of people failed serving to Menchi, Rosie was the last one to serve her dish.

It was a good thing Buhara wasn't full yet.

"So, this is my pig soup, have some." Rosie said.

Menchi raised her eyebrow when she smelled the soup.

'It smells very familiar...' Menchi thought. Buhara took a spoonful and said "It is delicious!"

"Why, thank you, Buhara." Rosie said and looked at Menchi.

"Well, aren't you going to try some? You are hungry are you?" Rosie asked.

Rosie knew Menchi was hungry after letting a lot of applicants fail the test, so she made the soup extra delicious for Menchi.

"N-No thanks, I can see a BIG failure in your dish... um... what's your name?" Menchi asked and looked at Rosie with a annoyed face.

"My name is Rosie; but call me oba-chan." Rosie said.

Before Menchi could say another word, Rosie cut off her sentence and said "I know you're hungry, so, don't try to conceal it, if not, you'll regret if you don't try it."

Menchi's eyes widen when she heard Rosie said that. 'H-How did she know I was hungry!?' Menchi thought.

Suddenly, Menchi's stomach growled.

She blushed.

"Come on, just eat it, it won't kill you." Rosie comforted her.

Menchi gulped and took the nearby spoon to try the soup.

When she tasted it, her face formed a smile.

Menchi looked at her and said "Congratulations! You passed the 2nd Phase test!"

Rosie sighed and said "Thank you. But-" Rosie was cut off sentence when one of the applicants said "WHAT?!"

Menchi then stood up and said "Okay! The test is over! And everyone except applicant number 401 failed!" then sat on the couch and crossed her legs and her arms and closed her eyes with annoyance.

Everyone and the gang, except Rosie looked at Menchi in shock.

Rosie then shook her head. "Menchi, you have gotten back to your old habit." Rosie said. Menchi looked at her with surprised. "W-What?!" Menchi asked.

"Oh, nothing." Rosie sat and looked over somewhere; and that was where Satotz was.

"I won't accept these rules!" Todo said. YEAH, that was his name!

Menchi turned to Todo with a bored look, "Well, it's not my fault you failed. You're the ones taking the test" She said very bluntly.

"I took the test to become a blacklist hunter! Not some stupid Gourmet Hunter!"

Menchi's eyebrow twitched.

Just when Menchi wanted to say something, Rosie cut her off with a really, REALLY loud shout...

"SHUT UP." Rosie said. Her face showed bloodlust and it creeped out Todo.

Rosie walked to him in slow motion and she was ready to kill.

The applicants were surprised with Rosie's reaction.

"Disrespect people, you disrespect yourself." She said with a very strict voice.

But she stopped walking to him and looked up at the sky. Rosie sighed and went back to herself.

'He's FINALLY here' Rosie thought and smiled.

Rosie crossed her arms and closed her eyes. "BOOM!"

A fog of dust was created by the boom.

And when the fog cleared up, it showed an old man that created a big hole. The old man was-.

Rosie beamed and ran to where the old man was and when she saw the old man she ran to him.

"It's him... He is-" Menchi said while standing but was cut off when Rosie spoke up

"NETERO-CHAN!" Rosie shouted and ran to Netero quickly to hug him.

"N-Netero-chan?!" All the applicants shouted in surprised.

Menchi's eyes widen. 'So, it's her!' Menchi thought.

"Hohohohohohoho! I didn't expect my grandmother here!" Netero saida

When Rosie went near him, they hugged each other like a grandfather hugging his grandchild; actually, its a grandmother hugging her grandchild.

"W-Wait, oba-chan, you're his grandmother?!" Killua asked with surprised.

Rosie stopped hugging Netero and turned to Killua with a smile.

"Un!" She said while nodding.

"He is The Chairman of the Hunter Association; Isaac Netero!" Menchi exclaimed.

She then turned to Rosie.

"And this girl was the 10th Chairman and her real name is; Kiku Kuramoto. She may look like she is eight years old, but she is 389." Menchi said.

"Ay caramba!" Leorio said before fainting.

Even Kurapika almost fainted.

Menchi then walked towards Netero with a very serious face.

"Now tell me, why did you fail all of them excluding oba-chan?" Netero asked, putting his hands behind him.

"B-Because... because the examinees have insulted gourmet hunters" Menchi replied, looking down on the ground.

"Hm... So you let your emotions affect your judgement?"

Menchi's eyes widen and then she looked up at the Chairman again.

"...Yes," Menchi replied, looking down again and closing her eyes, "I'm sorry, i don't deserve to be an examiner or a hunter." She continued, opening her eyes and looking up Netero again.

"I'll quit and take the hunter test again; and all I need is your permisssion." Menchi announced.

Chairman Netero scratched his chin, thinking, "Hm.."

Rosie then smiled at him.

Netero smiled too and nodded.

He raised his index finger, "How about this, you can continue your job as an examiner," he said, making Menchi's eyes widen again.

"However,you will have to change the test and give the examinees another chance." He continued.

Rosie smiled at the both of them.

'Netero-chan,he really is getting better at becoming a chairman.' Rosie thought and sighed in relief.

Menchi then thought about it for a few seconds, and then she smiled and snapped her fingers.

"I got it!" She exclaimed.

"That's good then." The chairman replied.

"Chairman, do you mind if we borrow that?" Menchi asked, pointing at the blimp above them.

Netero followed her finger and then grinned, "Not at all."

Rosie turned to the gang and gave them a thumbs up.

"We'll be going to Mt. Split in Half!" Menchi exclaimed.

Rosie cheered like a child "Yay!"
