"Sherlock dear, I was just going to the shop. I thought I'd see if there was anything you needed while John was gone. "
"Yes, thank you Mrs. Hudson. The list is on the fridge."
"Ah I see it…Sherlock what are you going to do with painting things? You're weren't planing on painting here were you? You how I feel about the mess you made of the wall. Couldn't have at least asked me first? And green and red, really those won't work at all. It'll look like a Christmas tree. What about purple instead of red? That might be nice. Mind you I still wish you'd asked me first but then you never do. I suppose I should be used to it by now. Which room were you planing on painting again? The bathroom needs something bright you know. But this room could go dark I think, mind you'd need to see about primer I expect to cover the wall paper. And you'd need to patch those holes as well, about time too. You know I didn't know you knew how to paint Sherlock. Just shows that you never really know everything there is to know about a person, they can always surprise you. Does John know? I know some people like surprises but these aren't really John's style."
"It's for a case Mrs Hudson. I'm using it for my cover."
"Then your not going to patch up my wall?"
"Not at present Mrs Hudson, I have rather a lot to do."
"Oh of course, I'll leave you to it then. But, are you sure about these colors Sherlock? They are a bit garish as I said."
"Yes Mrs Hudson, that is rather the point actually."
"Well you know your business best. I'll just pop off to the shop then, Just this once mind you, I'm not your house keeper."
"Of course not. Thank you, Mrs Hudson."
