Angie smiled as she texted Wade. She really should be listening to Gwen's story about...what was she talking about? Shit. Angie glanced up from her phone to see Peter and Gwen staring at her.

"Well?" Gwen asked "Is it true?"

"Yes" Angie nodded, having no idea what Gwen was talking about.

"I told you!" Gwen squealed, smacking Peter's arm "I knew it!"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Peter demanded, crossing his arms at Angie.

"Because...I have no idea what we're talking about" Angie admitted.

"Your secret boyfriend" Gwen grinned

"Secret boyfriend? Psh, what? Me? A boyfriend? Yeah right" Angie snorted, slowly sliding her phone from view.

"See?" Peter smirked "Told you she didn't have one"

"Are you serious? That was the worst lie I've ever heard" Gwen rolled her eyes.

"I think I would know if Angie had a boyfriend" Peter said confidently "Like, when would you have time to go on dates?"

"All those times she disappears" Gwen pointed out "Cutting study groups short, always running around and avoiding topics and making up crap excuses to leave class" Angie gulped.

"She's the daughter of a billionaire" Peter reminded "She's weird like that"

"So you don't mind if I take a look at your phone, Ange?" Gwen grinned, holding her hand out.

"Yes, I mind" Angie crossed her arms "Daughters of genius billionaire playboy philanthropist's don't just hand their phones over to snooping friends" Gwen just smirked wider and held up Angie's phone.

"What the-?" Angie felt her pockets, only to find that yes, indeed, Gwen had managed to sneak Angie's phone off of her.

"Tony, Steve, Peter, Tash, Clint, Oh, this one looks interesting" Gwen scrolled through Angie's contacts "Wade Wilson" Angie flushed when Peter gave Angie an incredulous look.

"Let's take a look" Gwen muttered "Oh, what's this? 'I'll see you tonight, babe'" Angie hid her face in her hands.

"No. Way." Peter muttered "No. Freaking. Way."

"Can we drop this?" Angie asked

"No" Gwen smirked

"We really can't" Peter said

"Peter texted me for advice on how to ask you out" Angie blurted

"Angie!" Peter exclaimed

"Peter!" Gwen hid her face in her hands. Angie reached for her phone, but Gwen held it out of her reach.

"Let me see" Peter grabbed Angie's phone and started scrolling.

"Give me my damn phone!" Angie lunged at it, but Peter was faster thanks to his damn spider sense.

"'You looked great today, babe'" Peter read "Oh! A new text!"

"Give it here!" Gwen laughed and Peter tossed the phone to his girlfriend.

"'Can you get your phone back yourself babe or do I have to come down there?'" Gwen read before halting and looking around. Angie grabbed her phone and shoved it in her pocket.

"That's enough" Angie said "Now, we're changing the topic"

"Fine. Invite him to our dinner this Friday" Gwen grinned

"He might not come" Angie admitted "He's shy" Peter snorted.

"Shut up Parker"

Angie leaned against Wade's shoulder. They had just finished patrol and were now relaxing on top of one of the many buildings in Manhattan. Peter was with Gwen, finally working on his history project that was due tomorrow. They had been given three weeks to do it and Angie had started, finished and handed in hers at the end of the second week.

"You wanna get something to eat?" Wade asked "I know this great little spot not too far"

"Already got it taken care of" Angie unhooked a small Captain America thermos from her belt. She opened it and revealed spaghetti with two forks twirled in.

"Nice goin, Red" Wade bumped his shoulder with Angie's, grabbing a fork. Then, he hesitated.

"What's wrong?" Angie tilted her head.

"Nothing, puddin pop" Wade said quickly. Angie set the thermos down and crossed her arms.

"For a master assassin, you're a terrible liar" Angie said "You only call me pudding pop when you're nervous or hiding something" Wade sighed.

"It's...people don't tend to like what they see under the mask" Wade said softly

"When was the last time I did what everyone expected me to, Wilson?" Angie asked. Before Wade could argue any more, Angie grabbed his mask and pulled it off. There were scars covering every inch of his skin. Wade turned away, trying to hide. Angie slapped him in his head.

"Stop that" Angie ordered

"Stop what?" Wade muttered "Being ugly?"

"Yes!" Angie snapped "And you're being very ugly. You're treating yourself like you're garbage and honestly, that's probably the most unattractive thing about you Wade" Wade reached for his mask, but Angie held it out of his reach.

"Wade, you don't get it, do you?" Angie sighed

"Don't get what? That you find me disgusting, just like everyone else?" Wade spat

"No, Wade" Angie shook her head "That I think you're gorgeous. Listen, I didn't agree to go out with you because you're pretty, Wade. I agreed because you always have my back. You're hilarious, sarcastic, brave and insane. You're perfect and if you ever let some bastard tell you different, I'll give them a real reason to scream" Wade stared at Angie in shock.

"What?" Angie crossed her arms. Wade smiled.

"You're probably the nicest person I've ever met, Ange" Wade decided

"Don't go telling people that" Angie muttered "I have a reputation to keep up, you know" Wade laughed.

"Now, c'mere" Angie muttered "I'm hungry" The pair began to eat the spaghetti together, Angie leaning her head on Wade's shoulder. When they finished, Angie chuckled.

"What?" Wade tilted his head

"You have sauce on your face" Angie grinned. Wade wiped his face, but missed the sauce in his philtrum (the little dip under your nose[Bruce is filled with fun facts]). Angie smirked.

"Here, let me" Angie leaned up and gently kissed the sauce away before kissing Wade on the lips. Angie felt Wade hesitantly return the kiss before she pulled away.

"My dads are probably going to send out the search parties soon" Angie sighed "But, Pete and Gwen are coming over for dinner on Friday, if you're interested"

"Interested in?" Wade tilted his head, pulling his mask back on.

"Double dating" Angie said as she pulled her goggles on. Wade smiled.

"I'll see you there"

Angie nervously paced in the front lobby of Stark Tower. Wade would be there any minute.

"Hey Dad, Pops, this is my boyfriend, Wade. You guys might know him as Deadpool, or my ex-stalker if you actually cared to look through my history as a masked crime fighter" Angie muttered "Okay, so not that approach"

"PUDDING POP!" Angie laughed as Wade wrapped her tightly in a hug.

"Hey, Wade" Angie chuckled "You're early"

"I know. I figured it would be a good idea to meet the folks before meeting your friend" Wade nodded "Do they know...?"

"Not yet" Angie smiled sheepishly. Wade grabbed Angie's hand firmly in his own.

"That's fine. I'm sure they can handle it" Wade said confidently.

"Hey, Angie" Angie winced as Clint walked passed her. She held her breath as he kept walking.

"Think he-?" Wade started before Clint froze and slowly turned on Angie and Wade.

"Oh yeah" Angie muttered

"Is that-?" Clint started

"Yup"

"And you're-?"

"Yeah" Slowly, oh so slowly, Clint began to grin.

"They don't know?" Clint guessed.

"Of course they know" Angie lied "Obviously" Clint deflated a little. Angie pulled Wade to the elevator with Clint. Wade was tugging his hat lower and lower.

"You going up?" Clint asked

"Mhm" Angie nodded "You're going down"

"What-?" Clint tilted his head as they stepped into the elevator. Seconds after the doors closed, Angie pinned Clint on the floor.

"What the hell?!" Clint yelled.

"You're gonna be very quiet because if you don't, I can and will sick Tasha on you for the month about God knows what" Angie muttered "Today is very crucial and if you mess it up by being the little shit I was raised with and really do love sometimes, you'll be dealing with a very angry master assassin that knocked you out before" Clint grinned up at Angie.

"So you haven't told them" Clint grinned "Don't worry, I'll be good" Angie sighed and stood, straightening her blouse before pushing a curl behind her ear.

"That was both terrifying and gorgeous" Wade grinned. Angie chuckled softly. Clint climbed up and rubbed his ribs.

"That was so uncalled for, you know" he muttered

"How many times have you dropped me during training?" Angie reminded as the doors dinged open.

"C'mon Wade" Angie pulled Wade through the doors to the kitchen. Tony and Steve were waiting.

"Where are Peter and Gwen?" Steve glanced around

"And who's that?" Tony asked, looking Wade up and down.

"Dad, Pops, this is Wade" Angie said "Wade, this is my dad, Tony Stark, and my pops, Steve Rogers"

"It's an honour" Wade put his hand out, but it was ignored.

"Okay, but who is he?" Tony crossed his arms.

"We've been seeing each other for...a month now" Angie admitted "Wade lives at the homeless shelter that I visited in grade 10" Steve shook Wade's still outstretched hand.

"So, why is he here?" Tony asked

"I was invited over for dinner" Wade said

"By?" Tony prompted

"Your daughter" Wade said "Your only daughter, to my knowledge. I haven't met any sisters, so I'm gonna take a wild guess and say only daughter. But, it'd be awesome if Angie had sisters, because then it would be like the Kardashian's. Except neither of their parents are smart, or from the 40's"

"The who?" Tony tilted his head.

"Sorry, it's a show" Wade chuckled. Tony eyed the man with distaste.

"Miss Stark-Rogers, Mister Parker and Miss Stacy have arrived" Jarvis announced

"Oh! I'd better get that! Let's go" Angie pulled Wade from the kitchen.

"No, he can stay here" Tony invited.

"Dad-" Angie started

"No, it'll be fun" Wade smiled softly

"See? Fun" Tony smirked. Steve sighed.

"I'll deal with him" Steve promised softly. Angie ran to the elevator and nearly ran into Bruce.

"Whoa, hey, Ange" Bruce smiled

"Hey, Uncle Bruce" Angie sighed

"What's up, kiddo?" Bruce asked as they were taken to the lobby.

"Dad's interrogating my boyfriend" Angie muttered "I swear, it's like he doesn't trust me to bring home a respectable guy"

"He's just worried that someone could hurt you" Bruce said "We all are"

"I'm a big girl" Angie said "I'm 18 for Thor's sake! I think I can take of myself"

"We know that" Bruce said "But some of us, or at least your dads and I, still see you as that tiny little girl who started fights at school or got kidnapped by Hammer Industries" Angie sighed.

"I know, but it just sucks that they have to interrogate him like that" Angie muttered "It's like they don't think I did my own interrogation" Bruce chuckled as the doors dinged open. Peter and Gwen walked over, hand in hand.

"So, we get to finally meet this mystery man, huh?" Gwen grinned

"Yeah, where is he?" Peter glanced around

"Already with my dads" Angie smiled bitterly "It's going great" Bruce sent a sympathetic look over his shoulder as he walked out.

"Just stay calm!" he called

"Funny tip coming from you" Angie laughed. She saw Bruce's shoulder's shake with a laugh before the doors shut and Angie started the ride back up.

"So, what's this Wade like?" Gwen grinned

"Loud" Peter muttered. Angie elbowed him.

"You've met him?" Gwen demanded

"No?" Peter said quickly

"Peter!" Gwen snapped

"No!" Peter insisted. Angie chuckled. The elevator slowed and Angie glanced in confusion up at the floor reader.

"Look! This is our floor" Peter said quickly

"No, it's not" Angie muttered, moving so she was beside the door. She got confirmation that Loki, Thor, Pepper and Nat were all out for the night. Clint was on the roof, Bruce left, Tony, Steve and Wade were in the kitchen. Angie motioned for Peter and Gwen to get behind her. She pulled a small tazer from a compartment in the elevator wall. The doors dinged open. Angie prepared herself to strike. Someone walked in and Angie tackled them. She was quickly pressed against the wall by none other than Natasha Romanoff.

"Tasha!" Angie exclaimed

"Angela?!" Natasha demanded, releasing the girl. Natasha put her gun in her holster and Angie noticed that she hadn't even noticed the weapon being pressed against her heart. Angie let out a breath of relief and shook her head.

"I thought you were on the Helicarrier tonight" Angie said "You scared the shit out of me"

"I scared you?" Natasha laughed "I thought you were having your dinner party tonight"

"Yeah" Angie grinned "It's here" Peter and Gwen poked their heads over Natasha's shoulders.

"Hey, Natasha" Peter grinned
"Hey, Peter" Natasha smiled before her eyes landed on Gwen "Who's this?"

"Peter's girlfriend" Angie grinned "Aunt Tasha, this is Gwen Stacy. Gwen, this is my Aunt Natasha"

"It's nice to meet you, ma'am" Gwen smiled, albeit nervously. Natasha smiled warmly.

"It's nice to meet you too, Gwen. And feel free to call me Natasha" Natasha said. Gwen nodded as they continued up.

"Are you coming for dinner?" Angie asked

"No, no. Just for training before I head out again" Natasha said

"Right. Training" Angie grinned before expertly dodging the imminent smack to the back of her head. As the doors dinged open again, Angie started out.

"Make sure Barton doesn't lose his shirt again!" Angie called before running down the hall, Peter and Gwen on her tail as the elevator doors closed.

"She seems...nice" Gwen said

"Don't worry; she doesn't always carry her guns" Angie grinned "Only when she's between missions" Gwen nodded and the trio walked into the kitchen. Wade was sitting at the table, hands in his lap. Tony was sitting at one end, glaring at Wade, while Steve set some plates on the table.

"What took you?" Tony asked

"We had a run-in with Tasha" Angie said as she took her place beside Wade. Peter and Gwen sat opposite of them as Steve sat at the opposite end of Tony. Angie cleared her throat as she entered. Tony turned and stood when he saw Peter and Gwen.

"Hey, Peter, Gwen" Tony greeted "Nice to see you"

"You too, Mr Stark" Gwen smiled

"Hey, Tony" Peter grinned. Tony ruffled the boy's hair.

"Finally got yourself a girl?" Tony winked "He always talked about you when he would come over; spent hours on end talking about your hair" Gwen and Peter flushed and Angie rolled her eyes.

"Stop making my friends awkward" Angie muttered "Gwen, Peter, this is Wade" Angie dragged the two over to Wade, who turned at the mention of his name.

"Hey, cutie" Wade smiled at Angie as he stood.

"Wade, this is Gwen and Peter" Angie said "They're adorkable" Wade chuckled.

"It's nice to meet you" Gwen smiled

"You too" Wade said, but wouldn't make eye contact with the blonde. Angie squeezed his hand reassuringly.

"Let's sit" Angie said, taking her seat beside Wade as Peter and Gwen sat across from them. Tony took one head of the table as Steve walked over with a few plates.

"I hope everyone likes steak" Steve smiled, setting the last two plates in front of Gwen and Peter.

"It all looks amazing, Mr Rogers" Gwen smiled.

"It really does" Wade agreed quickly. Tony scowled further.

"Thanks" Steve beamed "But, I can't take all the credit; it's Tony's steak recipe"

"It's the Stark Steak?" Angie grinned "Nice going, Pops"

"Dig in" Steve invited. The table went quiet as everyone ate.

"So, Peter, how's school?" Tony asked

"It's good" Peter said "It's going well. Gwen's the top of our science class, tied with Angie" Tony grinned.

"You're gonna have some competition girls" Tony chuckled. Gwen smiled.

"Angie can take the internship" Gwen said "I don't really want it"

"Internship?" Angie tilted her head

"Yeah, to Oscorp" Gwen nodded "Didn't you know about it?"

"Oscorp? No thanks" Angie grinned "I'll stick to Stark Industries, if I do say so myself"

"What about you, Wade?" Steve asked, obviously noticing how quiet the man had gotten.

"I'm not in school" Wade admitted "Never really had the chance. But I'm plenty smart; not as smart as...anyone at this table, maybe, but I'm smart" Angie smiled at Wade. The table fell back into silence. Angie glanced around the table to see everyone staring at their plates as they ate.

"So. Wade, what do you see yourself doing in the future?" Steve asked. Wade seemed to think about the question for a second.

"Working for the government, probably" Wade said carefully. Angie smiled slightly at the man. Tony glared at him. Wade glared back.

"Something the matter?" Wade asked

"Government? Like, killing for money?" Tony muttered

"Tony" Steve hissed as Wade moved to stand.

"Wade" Angie warned

"Angie" Wade whined

"Angie" Tony leaned towards the girl.

"Pops!" Angie pleaded, glancing at Steve in desperation.

"Tony" Steve said calmingly

"Clint!" Everyone froze as Clint came stumbling into the room. Gwen covered her mouth with her hands as she laughed, as did Peter. Angie stood.

"Angie" Steve muttered

"I'm not hungry" Angie said before walking out. She glared at the floor as she walked.

"Angie! Ange, wait!" Angie turned a corner and waited for Wade to catch up.

"Hey, I'm sorry" Wade muttered "I didn't mean to upset you"

"I know. It's not you" Angie muttered "It's my dad; I don't get it. Why can't he just be happy for me? I mean, I actually brought home a respectable guy, I let him meet you and all he did was be a jerk to you. I'm sorry, Wade"

"Hey, it's okay" Wade smiled "I have a thick skin...well, more regenerative than thick, but you get it" Angie chuckled and smiled up at Wade.

"I'll see you next week for patrol" Angie said "Stay outta trouble"

"We're not going back for dessert?" Wade pouted

"You can. I'm not" Angie muttered "This was the worst dinner ever. I'm sorry"

"Hey, it wasn't that bad" Wade smiled "Awkward, but not that bad"

"I just don't get why they don't trust me" Angie said "They all know I'm not stupid; I did background checks and case references and interrogations when we started dating"

"They don't want you getting hurt" Wade said

"I know you won't hurt me, though" Angie shook her head "I'm sorry, Wade"

"It's not your fault. It's no one's fault. It just wasn't meant to be tonight" Wade said. Angie sighed and Wade wrapped his arms around her, resting his chin on her head.

"We'll try again another day, okay? Maybe meet the rest of your family" Wade suggested. Angie snorted.

"I don't think you want to meet them" Angie muttered "They're kind of terrifying when they want to be" Wade chuckled.

"More terrifying than a pissed Iron Man?"

"More terrifying than a pissed Iron Man" Angie agreed "Have you seen a pissed Loki? Or a pissed Thor? Or, heaven forbid, a pissed Virginia "Pepper" Potts?"

"What about Banner? Doesn't he turn into the Other Guy when he's mad?" Wade pointed out

"The Other Guy is really just a big softie that likes to smash things" Angie dismissed

"Right. And the two master assassins?" Wade added

"I've never seen either truly pissed" Angie admitted "I've seen Natasha frustrated, but not much more. I've never seen Clint mad. I've seen him upset, happy, terrified, making eyes at Tasha, making out with Tasha, and with a stone cold look before. But never actually mad"

"You think I'd stand a chance against them?" Wade asked

"With or without my help?" Angie glanced up at him.

"Without"

"No"

"Great"

A/N Wade gets to finally meet the family. It doesn't end well and most of the Avengers are little, loveable shitheads. BTW, I'm ignoring the new Spiderman movie that came out yesterday (OHMYGODSOEXCITED) for now. A) because I haven't seen it, b) because spoilers, and c) the results will be devastating. Thank you for reading and feel free to leave a review in the box below. Have a lovely day :)
