Out-manuver
"Are you sure you have never played before?" Shikamaru stared at the shogi board. By his calculations he was 5 moves from defeat.
"Uhh, yeah." Suigetsu moved his piece. "This is easier than I thought it would be. Are you sure you aren't going easy on me."
"There is no way I'm going easy on you." Shikamaru muttered. Four moves now, minimum, until Suigetsu defeated him. He had to be missing something, some really obvious move that he could make that would change the entire game. It had been a long time since he had lost at Shogi to anybody that was not his father and this was frustrating.
"Oh come on, make a move, Shikamaru." Ino was hovering over his shoulder, much like the rest of the gathered crowd.
"You breathing down my neck doesn't help." He snapped at her.
Huffing she moved a step back. "We can't help it, you two are the only interesting thing in this damn hospital. Now think, Shikamaru. How the hell would Dad beat this situation? Didn't I trap him like this once before and he still beat me? How did he do that?
Approximately a minute later Shikamaru opened his eyes and began his counter. Twelve minutes after that the hallway erupted in cheers as Shikamaru won. ten seconds after that the door to the operating room flew open and a pink-haired, red-faced medic stormed out.
"I said you could wait quietly. And why you are even here is beyond me, those two wont be waking up for at least three days." Glancing around Sakura's eyes landed on the person she was looking for. "Hinata I need your help, there are still bone fragments floating around in their chest cavities, I need you to find them for me."
MORE MOVIE HYPE! I am excited about Sexy-Villain-Adonis-dude, cause damn he is fine. And omg 697 was the best chapter in a long time, I mean holy shit.
