Hello, my lovely readers. I have written two more chapters after this and am working on chapter 20. I hope you enjoy the chapter. On with the show…

Chapter 17: Kiss and Tell

Twirling in front of the mirror in her bedroom, Davina Claire struck a pose while Josh Rouza checked his e-mail. Josh was hanging with Davina because of this guy he met on-line, Aiden, and he weren't supposed to meet up till later that night. This meant that he had time to kill, and hanging with his favorite girl wouldn't bore him too badly.

"Do you like this dress, Josh?" Davina called, swaying from side to side with a dreamy smile which was shocking. Josh really had no idea why D was so happy. The last time he checked she was depressed because Damon Salvatore had no idea she was alive. Of course Josh had repressed his desire to point out that Damon liked himself and that was pretty much it. Why couldn't Davina not have drooled over another guy while she pretended to be Josh's girl?

"Its fine," Josh replied with a forced smile. "You know, I need to get home to type a paper," he called over his shoulder, waving his hand in a "bye" signal as he texted Aiden.

"Josh!" Davina yelled, chasing him to her bedroom door.

Josh's eyebrows rose as the tiny girl pressed her body to the door with a wide eyed look. "You can't leave. You have to come with me to the party tonight."

Rolling his eyes, Josh shoved his phone into his back pocket. He so did not have time for this. It was hard enough find time to hang with Aiden when he had a serious backlog on his studies. How would he ever get into Harvard if he didn't keep his grades up? He had just found out he might get a B in his Lit class. A B! That was not cool.

"Please, Josh! I can't go by myself!" Davina continued as Josh shifted from foot to foot, silently, wishing for an escape hatch. "Everyone whose going is a junior or a senior."

"Why don't you ask… ummm… Klaus to take you. He's been really helpful with those art lessons after school. Maybe he'll ask you out for a slice of pizza afterward," Josh said, feeling his fingers itch when his phone vibrated in his jeans.

Davina scrunched up her nose. "Klaus? Really? NO! I only hang with Klaus to get info on Damon. Duh! And I already called him and he's going with some guy friends, but he said it would be cool. Somehow I don't think I want to show up with a bunch of guys, unless I want Kat Gilbert's rep." Stopping for breath, Davina bit her lip. "You could bring that friend of yours. If we went together it wouldn't look like you were there together, right?"

Seeing that arguing was futile, Josh sighed before forcing a smile. "Sure, D. Whatever you want."

"Thank you!" Davina squealed, leaping into Josh's arms. "I owe you like a billion favors. I have to find the perfect outfit for tonight."

Josh nodded before pulling out his phone and walking into Davina's bathroom. Locking the door, he turned on the faucet before answering the call. "Hey, Aiden. Sorry about that," he began when Aiden huffed.

"The line has been ringing for the past fifteen minutes, Josh. Are you on a date with some other hottie?" Aiden inquired with a touch of jealousy.

"No, just Davina. She's forcing me to go to some lame ass party for the idiots at my school. I really don't want to be there, but if I don't go she might have her first twenty shots and tell the whole school about us," Josh moaned into the phone, running his hands through his hair.

"Why do you care what they know or don't?" Aiden questioned his boyfriend of several months.

"I don't. But my parents are Republicans and they say I can't become a head of the party if I have unnatural tendencies that at one year at that one camp was supposed to rid me of." Josh told the one person who truly got him.

"Okay. I think we'll save that conversation for some other day," Aiden replied with a chuckle. "Otherwise we might have to discuss politics, and that is not one of my turn-ons."

"Oh, and what are?" Josh asked, his voice lowering when there was an aggressive knock from outside the room.

"JOSH!" Davina yelled. "Josh, can you come out here and help me with my zipper?"

Aiden could be heard laughing loudly when Josh lowered the phone to his side. "Coming, dear!" Josh replied, pausing in front of the mirror to check his hair.

"JOSH!" Davina shouted again when the door flew open.

"Keep your pants on, girly," Josh snapped, examining Davina. He wondered if he should be telling her that her skirt was a bit too short. When you could see a girl's panties when she bent a half of an inch in any direction then there was a problem. On the other hand maybe that would mean that there would be so many guys trying to get her attention that Josh could have time with Aiden. Purely evil? Hmmm…

"How do I look?" Davina asked.

"Like Miley Cyrus," Josh shot back, yanking open a drawer. He pulled out a pair of leggings. "You can wear those with the shirt."

"This isn't a shirt," Davian protested while pulling the leggings on.

"Could have fooled me," Josh said as he texted Aiden the address of Damon's Salvatore's house. This was the first time that Damon would be hosting the annual "Kiss and Tell" party. 'This should be fun,' Josh thought sarcastically. "Ready to go, my lady?" he asked Davina who was applying more lip gloss. He would need to give her a tissue to take some off in the car. This was a kissing party after all and who wanted to eat that stuff? Ugh.

Linking arms with the little female, Josh strode out of the room and down the stairs. As usual Davina's parents were nowhere to be seen. Josh wondered if she even had parents. Getting into his car, he wondered if the party would be as bad as the last one he attended. Lots of kissing and rarely any of the hot guys he knew.

Before Josh knew it, he was pulling into Damon's driveway. There weren't too many people outside the house. Only the people who had just arrived were still strolling the property. Aiden was leaning against his car with a wide smile. Josh felt his heart beat faster. This man was the sole reason that Josh had been feeling like getting out of bed in the morning when everything in this little town made him want to shut the curtains and stare at the ceiling.

"Hey, Josh. Hey, Davina," Aiden greeted the faux couple as Davina walked over and embraced him happily. "So are you two ready to party?" he questioned the pair. Seeing Josh's reluctance, Aiden beckoned him forth and looped an arm around his shoulders with his other around Davina's. "We'll make this fun. Trust me," he whispered to Josh.

"I trust you. I just don't trust them," Josh replied quietly as they walked into the house, past a half drunk, and leering, Stefan Salvatore.

"Like your dress, why don't you take off those things on your legs?" Stefan suggested to Davina who smiled back at him.

"'Cause I think it might be cold in there," Davina said innocently.

"I can keep you warm," Stefan told her, leaning closer to her when Damon appeared and took Davina's hands in his.

"Hello! Hello! Hello!" Damon greeted loudly. "Don't mind the doorman. I plan on having him killed. I see that you brought the sacrificial lamb," he joked, winking at Josh before kissing Davina's hands and leading her toward a circle. "If you'll please take a seat. The fun is about to start," he informed the group of friends.

Josh sat down between Davina and Aiden, coming face to face with Elena Gilbert, who smirked back at him looking from Aiden to Davina. Something about the look on her face made Josh feel suddenly nervous. Why was he even at this stupid party? Moving to get up, he heard Damon begin to speak.

"As you all know this is my first time hosting this party that I have attended for, oh, about four years now. So for any of you virgins in the group -" he began when Elena laughed heartily.

"Yeah, right. Hold up your hand if you're a virgin?" Elena called with another laugh as Damon stared at her with a look of contained rage. "Nope! Don't think we have any. Sorry, Damon. Guess you'll have to go look for Sage's group if you want one of those."

"Are you done?" Damon asked Elena who was still smiling as she leaned toward Silas who was sitting on her right.

"Your brother does know how to host the lamest parties!" Elena said loudly.

"Don't like, leave!" Damon ordered, pointing toward the door.

"Yes, please do!" Vikki Donavon added while Damon refused to look at her.

"Why don't you make me?" Elena inquired as Vikki got to her feet.

"Hey! Enough," Klaus shouted, going to stand between the two girls.

"As I was saying. This is my first time," Damon began again when Elena began to laugh until Andie Starr placed a hand over her best friend's mouth. "The rules are pretty simple. All of you have a pad of paper in which you'll list the people that you kiss tonight, and who you will rate on their kissing abilities. Once you have kissed a total of ten people you decide who was the best kisser. After that you will place a name on the board, over here," Damon pointed at the board in the corner of the room. "At the end of the night, we'll tally the votes and see who was chosen as the annual Kissing King and Queen. Is everybody ready?"

Elena tried to say something, but Damon had already plopped down and spun the bottle. It landed on Alaric. "Pucker up, baby," Damon told his friend who looked happier than he might have meant to look. The kissed lasted for about one minute amongst the giggles of idiots like Stefan who was no longer greeting the guests.

Alaric spun the bottle, and it landed on Elena, "Oh, ho. This is going to be good. Get ready to have your world rocked after Salivatore," she told him with a grin. She crawled across the floor as Alaric looked like he might scream and run from the room. Grabbing Ric by the shirt collar, Elena laid one on him that lasted longer than a minute and left Alaric looking out of breath. "Okay. Next!" Elena said deviously, looking around for her next victim before she spun the bottle.

The bottle spun and spun. When it whizzed past Josh, he was relieved until it hit Caroline Forbes who seemed like a nice person. It was nice knowing her anyway. Elena laughed. "Come here, Blondie!" she yelled, holding out her arms as Klaus sulked beside Damon.

Caroline got up and allowed Elena to check her tonsils before sticking her fingers in her mouth. Removing a piece of purple bubble gum, she looked exasperated. "This belongs to you, I think," Caroline stated before crossing the room to sit beside Jackson and Bonnie Bennett.

Spinning the bottle, Caroline was biting her lower lip with a look of concentration as if she were trying to will the bottle to move. When it stopped in front of Tyler Lockwood, both Caroline and Tyler looked disappointed. They kissed for a little longer than Elena and the blonde had until Liv sighed loudly and Klaus growled from his corner of the room.

Now it was Tyler's turn. He pushed the bottle lightly and it pointed at Bonnie who grinned and shrugged before walking over to him and allowing him to kiss her gently on the check. Bonnie spun the bottle and it landed on Klaus, who looked like he was in pain, but covered it up well with a smirk. "Come here, love," he said, waving for Bonnie to come and kiss him as Caroline raised an eyebrow when he caught Bonnie around the waist and bent her over backwards. When he was done, he smiled. "Looks like it is my turn," he announced loudly before spinning the bottle and crossing his fingers.

There was laughter when Liv began to curse after the bottle landed on her. "No offense, Klaus," she told him who grinned.

"Of course," he said, walking over to her. "I'm sure that the bottle is cursed, since Damon bought it," he told the blonde before kissing her on the forehead.

Liv sighed as she spun the bottle, "Please be Ty. Please be Ty," she chanted aloud as Elena began to laugh again. A minute later it stopped in front of Damon who sucked in a deep breath. "I guess I'm going to be popular tonight."

"That bottle is rigged," Tyler complained as he had to watch Damon and his girlfriend sucking face longer than anyone had so far. Okay, that was not one that Josh would have seen coming.

Damon sat back chanting. "Anyone but Elena. Anyone but that evil, psychotic," he was saying when the bottle pointed at Davina who let out her contained breath. "Okay," Damon said with a smirk as he moved toward Davina who was grinning from ear to ear.

Josh felt happy for D but also scared that she would get the wrong idea when Damon kissed her gently on the lips for ten seconds before pulling away because the freshman had fainted. "Never had that reaction before," Damon said, looking down at the girl.

"Bet you rarely get more than 'Can I get a breath mint over here?"' Elena snarked with glee. "Now, somebody spin the damned bottle!"

Josh spun the bottle for his fallen friend. The bottle went around and around as Josh whistled until it stopped on Kol who looked surprised. "Is it ethical to kiss a passed out girl?" he inquired.

"It depends on where you kiss them," Stefan told him, causing all the girls and some of the guys to give him dirty looks. "Sorry. Judgy people," he muttered under his breath.

"Maybe you'll wake her," Caroline said excitedly earning herself a loud laugh from Elena and a smile from Klaus.

Kol got up and looked down at Davina uncertainly. "Is she even supposed to be at this party? She looks a bit young, darlings." Leaning down, he scooped Davina's head and shoulders onto his arm. Brushing her hair away from her face, he brushed his lips over Davina's and Josh felt his heart quicken for a moment as Davina's eyelids fluttered. Huh. 'This was a weird night,' Josh thought as Davina looked at Kol with wide eyes before sitting up on her own.

From there on the night passed quickly after Josh was forced to kiss almost every girl before he could finally kiss Aiden which caused Elena to begin to tell them to "Get a room! Oh, my God. I always said that little Joshy liked dudes. Seriously! No one has ever turned me down!" She told the group who ignored her.

"Yeah. Lena, everyone wants you so much," Damon taunted. "Can't you see all the complaints from everyone who hasn't been able to kiss you?" he inquired sarcastically as the bottle spun for his last turn when it stopped in front of her. "Damn it!" he shouted.

"You can kiss my ass, Damon," Elena ordered, getting up and pulling her pants down.

Stefan pulled out his phone and began to take pictures as many of the other students shook their heads. "Shake it, Lena!" Stefan shouted.

"Enough," Damon snapped at Stefan. "Give me that," he waved for the phone while Stefan tried to get away only to be tackled by Klaus who was pissed about not being able to kiss Caroline that night.

"Pull up your pants, Elena, and stop acting look like an idiot," Damon demanded of Elena who ignored him till he stomped across the floor and yanked her pants up.

"Gee, that's the first time that anyone ever forced me to pull my pants up!" Elena said when Damon whirled her around and kissed her on the lips. After a few minutes, Damon let go of Elena, who rolled her eyes. "That was three minutes of my life I'll never get back," she complained.

Tallying his kisses, Josh decided that Aiden was the best with Davina coming in a close second. Not that he was an expert on kissing girls. Walking over to the board, he made his selection before going to sit down.

Damon, Klaus and Caroline went over to the board to check out the totals. After a long ten minutes of discussion, Damon came to stand before the assembled group. Damon rubbed at the bridge of his nose. "Okay, ladies and gentleman. You have cast your votes and it looks like your kissing King is… ME!" He said with a smirk.

"Cheater!" Stefan accused.

Damon ignored his younger brother before announcing the Queen. "And this year's Queen of 'Kiss and Tell' is… Caroline Forbes," he clapped at an embarrassed looking Caroline while Klaus stared sullenly at her. "Congrats, Care," he said, placing a tinfoil crown on her head.

"What's this year's prize?" Stefan shouted. "Sex with the little brother of the King?" he suggested, giving Caroline a look that made her look sickened.

"A bag of Hershey's kisses to share with the party goer of your choice," Damon announced, handing Caroline a bag which she held out to Klaus.

"Klaus, would you like to share my kisses?" Caroline asked Klaus who looked pleased but whose answer was drowned out by music as Damon tossed his bag into the center of the group and grabbed Bonnie and Andie by the hands before dancing out of the room while Elena claimed the bag.

"I got him that win, 'cause I make you feel sorry for he who drools like my poor pooch, Mr. Smoochies, who be doggy heaven sniffing other doggies' butts. Now, back off, bitches!" Elena snarled before popping candy into her mouth.

'Yeah, this was a strange night,' Josh thought, moving into the other room to dance with Aiden and Davina. He wondered what next year's party would be like.

Lexia Mitchell: I know. There are a ton of characters because I threw in as many characters as I could remember from seasons one through five of TVD and season one of TO. Each of the chapters is supposed to be a story that could be a one-shot about what happened on a certain day in the life of the characters. However, each story connects together into a larger story about the school itself and is leading us toward Delena, Klaroline and a lot of other pairings, some in my little AUs that surprised me and some canon. Let me know if that helped. If not, I can PM you and we can talk about it.

JueseaPeterson: Thank you. I love Rebekah. Hers is one of the greatest roles for women on TV in my humble opinion. We will see Bekah begin to believe in love again with Marcel. And I really wanted to have a spot in which we see that even in this universe that the Original family still stand up for each other, most of the time.

Yes, Elijah and Elena will be teaming up for nefarious purposes after chapter twenty. It should be interesting to see what they do.

Thank you. I have no idea how to play chess so I kind of skipped the game sequence. We're getting closer to more Klaroline in chapter 19 even though they won't be riding into the sunset anytime soon. But, they are end game. It's just going to take a long, long time.

Prettylittlewitch: I understand. I felt like they were developing Hayley as a character through her connection with Elijah in which you could see her vulnerability. And, yes, Elijah deserves love. He's a great character who I really root for whatever he chooses to do.

I went with Josh because I was playing favorites and I've barely seen Josh this season. Nor did we see much of Matt so we will see a Matt centric chapter somewhere in chapters 21-25.

ObsessWithElijah: Elijah and Elena are going to be #Team Badass in the beginning of the second half of this story. It should be interesting to see what they do and how Damon and Hayley will react to these two. And at some time we will see Hayley finally break and take revenge of her own. That probably means war.

Littleinfinity's: You're welcome. Thank you for responding to my request and I will be writing Anna's chapter somewhere in between chapters 21 and 25. I know that probably feels like forever but I swear it won't be.

Jenny: Thank you. I'm glad my job here is entertain to the best of my abilities. There are a few more scenes about Klaroline especially in chapter 19. We will see Tom and Cami reappear some time either in chapter 20 or sometime after that because we have yet to get Tom's chapter.
