After the pancakes were done, Utau and Rima sat down and talked more. Rima found out they had more in common then she had ever imagined. When the pancakes were done they washed the dishes together. Rima then showed Utau upstairs.

"This is my room." Rima said, leading Utau into well, her room.

"It's nice, did you pick the colors?" Utau asked as she sat onto Rima's bed.

"No, but I don't mind them." Rima looked around her room. She showed all her games and creations to Utau. They played together before Rima took them back downstairs. They watched T.V. together, then played a board game when Utau noticed something. Rima kept glancing at the clock, and it looked like she was trying to hide it. Utau ignored it but after a while Rima began to look more and more frequently.

"Um, Rima?" Utau asked.

"Yeah?"

Utau hesitated. "Were you still waiting for, him?" Rima sighed and nodded.

"When do you think he'll be here?"

"3:10, exactly." Rima said quietly. "It's about three right now."

"How about this." Utau began. "Let's get a board game and set it up so we can play it when he gets here?"

Rima smiled just a bit and nodded. Utau helped her up and they set up the game in Rima's room, then waited. 3:10 came and Rima stared at the clock with dispair. A couple more minutes went by and she felt her eyes begin to water. Rima tried to stop herself from crying but she just couldn't help it.

The second Utau saw Rima she got up and dashed to Rima's spot on the carpet. When Utau got up, she knocked over the game board and spilled the pieces all over. She held Rima so tight she was afraid Rima might break. Rima quietly whimpered as Utau held her, she couldn't hold back the noises.

Finally Nagihiko made it and crawled through the window. He squeezed through and rolled onto the bed. That's when he saw Rima and Utau huddled together on the floor.

"Rima!" He said. Rima's crying stopped for a second and Utau looked up. Rima jumped from Utau's arms and nuzzled her face into Nagihiko's chest. He hugged her tightly and buried his face into Rima's soft hair. Rima punched his chest gently.

"Never do that again, never make me wait like that again!" She cried. Nagihiko felt tears swell in his eyes too and he nodded into her hair.

"Never again."

Utau smiled at the two nine-year olds. "I'll be downstairs, come down whenever." She said leaving the room. When she was gone Rima and Nagihiko sat on the ground. They held each other like that on the ground as their legs intertiwned.

"Don't leave me again." She said again.

"I won't." Nagihiko hugged her just a little bit tighter. Rima tried to nestle closer to him, she wanted to be around Nagihiko forever.

"Nagihiko?" She asked.

"Yes?"

"Tell me everything. Tell me why you were really gone?" She said. "I won't get mad, I just don't want lies." Nagihiko was quiet for a while.

"I'm a boy, but my Mom has always made me dress like a girl so I could dance better. So I'm a girl at school, and people call me Nadeshiko. No one knows I'm a boy. I'm telling you this because I have to spend the summer and the next year at a relative's house. So I'll be going to Shiro for 5th grade."

Rima looked up at him and Nagihiko stared back. He waited for her answer, whether it was terrible or accepting he was ready to take it.

"You're so pretty, I can see why you could trick people, but why didn't you tell me earlier?" Rima asked.

"I was afraid you wouldn't accept me, or you would feel like I betrayed you." Nagihiko said, straining to keep his voice from waving. Rima shook her head.

"I would never do that to you." Rima smiled as she wiped a tear from Nagihiko's eye. He smiled back and they pressed their fore-heads together. When Nagihiko finally slowed his tears, Rima helped him calm down and they went downstairs.

"So you're going to my school next year?!"

"Sure am!"
