It was a colour of pain and sacrifice. One he and his clan had killed for for generations.
A colour he feared to ever see in the eyes of his children.
But he knew he would. It was a kekkei genkai, it would be passed down. Even though his two youngest were born with the green eyes of their mother, all three carried the burden of the Sharingan. He could feel it.
"They will be fine."
"How can you know that?"
"Mothers intuition." Sakura sat down beside him. "Same as you know they will awaken the Sharingan."
"Hn."
"Do't say shit like that. Itachi already picked up your habit, we don't need Ryuu to as well. red won't be a colour of pain for them. You're here to guide them." She snuggled into his side. "it's cold out here."
"Better?" He wrapped his arm around her.
"Much."
"Are you sure they will be fine?"
"Sasuke . . ."
"Fine, I'll take your word for it." He yawned. "I guess we should be going to bed soon, huh?"
"Yea." She snuggled a little closer into his side. "But I'm comfy here."
It's about 24 hours until the end, I can't. I can't to this. Noooo, I've been calm so far. but, oh god I can't. What are your favourite moments (in Naruto)? Mine are when Naruto met his Mum, the reveal on their arms and Sasuke's little smile, Naruto saying goodbye to his Dad, Gaara defending the Sand village, everything with Hidan (crazy bastard), and when the sand sibs showed up to help the Sasuke retrieval squad. i have a lot of faves. Oh and Sakura beating the hell out of Sasori (thank you for being the thing which made me watch Naruto).
I don't want it to end, but I' kinda excited to see it over. I just wan't to see them all happy, man.
