You know that you shouldn't look at Regulus Black the way you do, with wanting, eager eyes.
Regulus, like his family, is nothing but trouble. Your father has told you as much countless times. Getting close to him would be dangerous.
But you still watch the tall Slytherin with dark hair. You still dream about him at night.

He sits beside you in the library, offering you a nervous smile. It does not suit him at all. He is supposed to be regal, so above it all.
"You're pretty good at Charms, right?" he asks, opening his book.
"Top of my class," you say, and you blush at how impressed he looks by your admission.
"This bit here about the Cheering Charm," he says, indicating a section of text. "I'm supposed to write an essay, but I don't even know what the hell it's talking about."
"Oh, that's easy," you assure him, moving closer.

"More Charms trouble?" you ask when he finds you again.
He grins. "Not this time. I just fancied your company."
You hesitate. You know that you should run like hell. Nothing good can come of getting close to Regulus Black. Your father's warnings echo in your head.
But his grey eyes are upon you, and you feel you reservations melt away. "I wouldn't mind."

You know that you're making a mistake when you let him kiss you. If he knew, your father would be so ashamed.
"We should stop," you murmur against his lips.
You feel him smirk into the kiss. "Why?"
And suddenly all your logic goes out the window. Why should this feel wrong? Why shouldn't you let your heart have what it wants?
You pull him closer, kissing him more fiercely. Regulus laughs. "That's what I thought."
