"You have an eye obsession."
"Look at me or I will -"
"Or you'll what?" Bolt placed his face directly in front of Sarada's. "Tell your dad?"
"I could kill you quite easily myself." She grabbed his chin and stared at his eye. "And I'm studying eyes to figure out why people go blind and how dojutsu actually works. Seeing as no-one has done an in depth study on it."
"All I heard was 'I'm an Uchiha with an eye obsession'."
"Behave." She snapped. "This research can help people. Also you're developing cataracts, I mean it's not surprising because you have the Byakugan, but you're only seventeen. I'll remove those at some point when I'm done researching. Activate your Byakugan."
"You're bossy."
"Byakugan. Now, Bolt."
Sighing he complied. This girl was way to bossy, but only when it came to her research. She often said she was dedicating her life to understanding how eyes worked. He could understand this, everybody had their passions, but hers was something else. A singular goal to find answers.
"It's still blue."
"We've been on the same genin team since we were twelve and you only just noticed this?"
"Well you normally only activate your Byakugan in battle. Don't blame me for not noticing."
"You didn't notice because you blind as hell."
"Only without the Sharingan active." She released his chin and scribbled in her notebook. "Your eyes are a very nice blue by the way."
"Thanks." He'd been hearing that all his life, so why did it now make his stomach flutter?
