Jade was relaxing with Tori after the workout. They'd talked it over, and agreed to a deal of sorts with Robbie. If Cat asked him or one of the others to observe someone at the Vega residence, they ask at the front door, and assuming no one objects, then they set up a lawn chair, or a lounge, and watch in the open. Also, no camera's. It was a weird agreement, but it would help keep Cat happy. The girl was seriously getting into this whole creeper spy chiz.
Jade wanted to relax and just enjoy the rest of the evening with her girlfriend. Trina was expecting Scotty to show up soon, and the four would have a game night. Or that was the plan. For now, Jade just wanted to spend some time with Tori without any pressures to do more than just enjoy her company. They'd even longed on and loaded up several old episodes of ICarly.
"Do you think that Gibby guy is acting, or is he really that weird?" Tori asked.
"Sam, Carly's partner, is Cat's roommate. You could ask." Jade replied. She couldn't explain it, but the whole thing felt nice. Sitting on the couch, watching some really silly comedy, and enjoying the time spent together. 'God she's making me so weak.' Jade thought. In addition to the normal shame that comes with that statement, there was that growing sense of comfort, and a feeling that this was right. Jade even felt a little aroused at the thought of Tori being so dominant, making her change.
"I could ask." Tori replied. "You think she gets tired of hearing that question, over and over again?"
"Nope." Jade said. "Show's been off the air for months. People forget so fast, they probably don't recognize her any more. Fame's like that."
"I wish. I still occasionally have someone come up to me and mention something I've done. It's flattering, but also kind of scary. I mean, it's okay when a kid does it, or someone who's a teen. But I've mostly been approached by older men. Like my dad's age. Big, creepy, older men who look at me like I'm some kind of breakfast treat..." Tori trailed off.
"Okay, first things first. Wherever you're meeting these guys, stop going there. Second, invest in pepper spray, and maybe a Taser. Third, I'm going to show you some moves to help if they get too handsy." Jade started.
Tori was beaming at this point, enough so that Jade stopped talking and gave her girlfriend a confused look. Tori's smile grew. The Latina slowly snaked her arm around Jade's middle, then quickly pulled the other girl in for a kiss. "I love it when you get all protective." Tori whispered, then moved in for another kiss. Things started to get heated from there. They were up to a little petting when the doorbell rang.
Trina raced down the stairs as quickly as ten inch heels could take her. Her tight dress flowing with her movements. Before Jade could put proper distance between herself and Tori, the door was flung open to reveal Andre and Beck.
"Hi all. We were wondering if we could all hang out here. As a group. It's been a couple of weeks, and we really miss hanging out." Beck asked.
"Also, the whole groups probably on their way." Andre added.
"What?" Jade growled.
"And when did you start just inviting yourselves over?" Trina asked.
"Last year." Beck replied. "Jade used to say that Tori probably didn't have anything better to do, so we kinda made this place our hangout."
"Well, she has something better to do now!" Jade growled. Tori had remained silent the whole time.
"Has anyone told Cat?' Robbie asked from his lounge outside.
"I texted her on the way here." Beck said. "Jade, Tori, Andre and I would like you to meet some girls. I mean, their sisters, and we're kind dating them. So anyways, we both wanted to introduce them to our friends, and this was as good a time as any, so their on their way."
"I really want you to meet her, Tori." Andre added. "She's all sweet and pretty and exotic. And she's a lingerie model."
"I suppose." Tori said. "Jade, could you help me get some chairs."
"No." Jade said. "Beck, Andre, I'm happy you two found someone who likes you, but you can't just barge in here assuming that Tori isn't doing anything."
"Or anyone." Robbie whispered. "That was for you, Rex." Luckily no one heard.
"Jade.." Tori tried to get her girlfriends attention.
"I know, in the past, she'd usually need us to look after her, but it's different now. She's with me, and you guys know I won't hurt her." Jade continued.
"Jade." Tori tried again, hoping to end this.
"No we don't." Beck shot back. "Jade, you changing, getting a little nicer, but we both know you're kinda damaged, and that you could go off on some rant the next time some pretty boy, or girl, talks to Tori about anything. I want you two to be happy, but you've got a ways to go to prove that this is going to work out."
"JADE!" Tori shouted. When Everyone looked over to see what she wanted, she started walking towards the kitchen. "Talk to me, NOW!"
"I don't like being told what to do." Jade said, but walked over to see what her girlfriend wanted.
"Look, sorry I yelled, but this isn't your decision. It's my home, and if I want to, then I'll invite them in and meet their new girls." Tori warned.
"I get it, their my friends too, but you can't just let them barge in here whenever they want to." Jade replied. "Stop being such a doormat, and stand up for yourself."
"I was, Jade. Look, I understand, you like quiet evenings every once in a while. So do I. But we've been ignoring our friends, only seeing them at school, as well as before and after, not to mention at rehearsals. Okay, that sounds like a lot, but we've been ignoring them socially." Tori said.
"Tori, I don't want our first fight to be about this." Jade replied. "But things have been going kinda fast, and I wanted to just spend some time with you. Just you."
"Well, nothing was going to happen, so it's okay to adjust out plans. You can spend time with me tomorrow, after your training." Tori said, trying to calm things down. "Unless something was going to happen, in which case, we'll get rid of everyone and meet up to my bedroom."
Jade paled, and that startled Tori. Jade took a deep, measured breath to calm herself and began speaking. "Wow, I mean, yea. Look, Tor, it's not that I'm not interested, but honestly, I'm not ready." Jade was choosing her words carefully. 'God, why am I so turned on?' she thought.
"And I respect that." Tori said. "But you have to respect that I want to have some fun, hanging out with my friends. Look, Andre is my best friend. I want to be there for him, and Beck's dating again. Don't you want to sit and judge this girl, see if she's nearly good enough for Beck?" Tori smiled and poked Jade gently.
Jade sighed. "Okay, but this girl had better be the chiz, if she's coming after me." Jade replied, seeming to come alive, if only for a second. "So where are these chairs?"
Fifteen minutes later, the gang was all there, including Cat and her roommate, settling in for their evening of fun, when the doorbell rang again. When Trina opened she saw a couple of girls she didn't recognize. Their ethnicity was hard to guess, but was probably mixed, including some Asian of some sort, and they were both exotic and attractive. "Still not my man." Trina huffed before Andre And Beck rushed over to usher the two girls in.
"Everyone, these are Candice and Amanda." Andre introduced them. "The taller one is Candice, she's with Beck. Mandy is mine."
"Candy and Mandy?" Jade asked, her eyebrow raised.
"Don't judge them on their parents choice in names." Tori said. "So Candice, I take it your the older one?"
"Younger, by a good hour and a half." Candy replied. "And before anyone asks, a good fifty percent of fraternal twins are the same gender."
"You must get that question a lot." Cat said.
"Wait," Mandy suddenly cut in. "Aren't you that chick from ICarly? You gotta tell me, is that Gibby guy as weird as he seems?"
"Yep." Sam replied, trying not to roll her eyes.
"And Andre here was telling me that you both have been on TV" Mandy said to Tori and Jade.
"I've performed on a few venues, and it's probably not safe to talk to Jade about her last appearance." Tori said. "Also, we were on a game show together."
"Oh, I remember now. You were Mandy something or another, fought on TV that one time." Mandy said.
Just then, the doorbell rang. "Thank god Scotty's here." Trina said, a bit too loud. As she went to the door, the room settled into a tense conversation.
Later, after everyone had a chance to calm down, Jade slipped out to the deck by the pool, taking Tori with her. The two love birds just wanted to look at the stars and spend some time together in the warm LA evening. "So Jade, what do you think of becks new girl?" Tori asked.
"You're kidding me, right? They seem nice enough to start, but at this age, they should be looking for different nicknames, something to help them stand out." Jade started. "But as a sign of how much I care for you, I honestly don't care if Beck wants to be with, well, either, or both, of those girls. Do you get the feeling they expect to be dated as a set?"
Tori slapped her girlfriends arm, hard enough to be felt. "Jade, we don't think such thoughts." For several seconds, she was legit wazzed, but soon let it go. "No, I don't think they want to be a matched set. I just think Andre met one, and called Beck when he found out there was a second. Like a friend would do, to help a friend." She stood there, her arm linked with Jades, listening to the night sounds and watching her friends through the window. "Seriously, do you think they're good for Beck?" Her voice broke the silence.
"What?' Jade asked. "Oh sorry, I was enjoying how you look in starlight. Yea, Beck needs to date again. I think, deep down, he's like me. We both need something long term. We both hate the game, and just want to be involved. I'm lucky, you don't play games, or didn't until Crystal started teaching you. But Beck, he's always in play. This Candy girl, horrible name for a girlfriend, but yea, I think this could be good for him."
"Just wish there was more to her?" Tori asked.
"Yep." Jade replied. "He wants the challenge, but needs someone who will save him from all the scanks out there looking for the prettiest boy toy."
"Well then, we'll tell him they did good." Tori said, pulling her girlfriend toward the house. Jade just went along, aware that she was a part of this madness.

Here's a question, how many typo's are in this chapter? In the preceding chapters? I honestly don't know, and no one ever bothers to tell me. I suppose I would be fine if I never knew, but I do appreciate constructive criticism.
