Tloj: Hey everyone! I guess I'm back.

"I give my word, surrender the device, and I will release her." Enerjak glares down at me.

I frown, and bring my hand to the device. I pause and smirk. "Not this time!" I change into Psychic Hero and separate him from Sarah, bringing her to me.

"Then so be it," Enerjak growls, and throws a fist of energy at us. Sarah shrieks in terror.

I push Sarah away and switch into Darkmatter, catching the punch easily.

Enerjak hesitates, "That's forbidden power... so mine wasn't good enough, you had to claim the power of The Dark as well?!"

"I never claimed your power!" I say. My C.E.A. device's face pops up, and I turn to normal. "However, if you want to keep pissing me off, then I guess I'll copy yours then!" My fur turns golden like Super Sonic, with black highlights and spike-tipped gauntlets that let me pull off the knucklaw look as my device face goes back down.

Enerjak holds his position in the air. "...You claim to live up to your namesake. If that is so then I demand you relinquish that power."

I turn back to normal. "I refuse to give up my C.E.A. However, I can promise you to not use your power."

"Swear by your soul," Enerjak growls. "And know that if you break that oath it will belong to me."

"As long as you promise to never bother me and my family again, I swear." I stare him down.

He nods, "Very well then Hero."

Sarah clings to me, shaking like a leaf.

I look at my C.E.A. and move Enerjak's power to the very back, where I'll never accidentally hit it. I turn to Sarah and smile.

Enerjak crosses his arms, and vanishes.

Sarah looks up at me, terror in her eyes.

When he's gone, I clutch Sarah tightly. "My Chaos Sarah... I thought I lost you!" I kiss her, tears streaming down my face.

Her shivers slowly come to a stop as she kisses me back, as if affirming that we're both still here.

"I remember losing you... and challenges... and now you're mine again!" I murmur in her ear, not letting her go .

"Always," she whispers, wrapping her arms tightly around my neck.

"Let's... go home." I say, wiping tears from my eyes.

She nods, but refuses to remove her arms from around my neck.

What other abilities have I unlocked? I press my C.E.A.

Chaos!

I turn black furred with red highlights.

Sweet.

"Chaos Control!" I call.

Sarah doesn't even seem to notice, "So much for our date..."

"I'll take you out for dinner. For now... It feels like I've been gone for weeks without you." I smile, landing in our room.

She smiles, and sits on the bed, "Just don't scare the baby..."

"I won't." I kiss her and sit next to her, pushing us both back onto the bed.

She slips a hand up my shirt to stroke my abs, and torso.

"I love you, Sarah." I murmur. "Don't ever die on me again."

She blinks, "Again...?"

"Nothing to worry about." I kiss her.

She closes her eyes with a smile, and lifts off her shirt.

I purr and start caressing her.

...

*Antonio's POV*

"Well, that could've ended up worse." I sigh, turning back to me and Millie's video game.

She swings her Wii remote, knocking me off the platform with her character's sword, and into the water... again.

She cheers, "Woo-hoo!"

"Hmph, I'd love to see you beat me in wrestling." I huff.

"You know I win every time," she winks.

"Actual wrestling?" I smirk.

"Nope, just the fun kind," she quips.

"Then let's play Halo and see who wins then!" I switch to the Xbox.

"Oh I love flying the Banshee..."

"I like blow up the vehicles!" I smirk.

She gives me a flat stare. "...If' i could have a Banshee, or a Ghost in real life I'd take it."

"Okay." I blink. "You have a Banshee. Name it something awesome."

She smiles, "Thanks!"

"Sure. Now let's forge some awesome worlds!" I grin.

She nods, "Can we team up against some NPCs please?"

"Sure. Team Deathmatch, your team versus mine! I call Red team!" I adjust the game mode.

She pouts, "I don't wanna kill you..."

"Pssh, I'd love to see you try!" I smirk.

She sets down her controller, and crosses her arms.

"What?" I blink.

"I'm not fighting you, the end."

"Fine..." I kiss her. "But I wanna spar with you naked later."

"Deal," she leans into me.

"Yay!" I kiss her cheek before adjusting the game again.

"Check out this sexy red bunny," she purrs as she picks up an energy sword.

"Check out this death laser cannon!" I pick it up.

"Think of it as a laser-pointer, THAT POINTS THINGS INTO OBLIVION!" She laughs.

"Yeah!" I blow up the enemy team. "Kill frenzy!" I smirk.

She takes a jetpack, and climbs into a banshee, "Booya!"

"Die Grif!" I snicker, blowing up a yellow soldier.

She frowns, "You killed his sister, Griff is orange, remember?"

"Die Grif!" I blow up an orange.

"I got Caboose!" She hits a blue in standard armor with her laser cannons.

"NO! CABOOSE!" I blow her up.

"HEY!" she elbows me.

"You blew up Caboose!" I say defensively. "Why would you blow up Caboose?"

"Caboose is the Team Killer, I was just getting him first!"

"But he's my favorite!" I complain.

"You're Church, he killed your ass! I'm Tex BTW."

"But doesn't she break up with him?" I ask suspiciously.

"Not in our version, in our version they're both Freelancers."

"Church is a terrible shot." I snipe "Grif" with my Spartan laser.

"And it's hard to miss with that thing," she counters, getting her equipment, and a new Banshee.

I switch to my backup pistol and snipe "Sister". "But I'm a great shot!"

"Whoop-dee-freaking-doo, so Tex taught you how to shoot!"

I kiss her cheek. "A compelling argument. So who would Hero and Sarah be?"

"Hm... Sarah would be Sister since she doesn't do any fighting, and Hero... would be..."

"Washington!" I smirk.

She snickers, "Good one."

"Let the fanfictions ensue." I rub her arm, easily playing with one hand.

She rolls her eyes, and leans into me, kissing my cheek.

I place my head on her shoulder and nuzzle her cheek.

She giggles, and blasts a ghost about to run him over.

"Try to win now!" I smirk and squeeze her chest.

She purrs, and ejects from her Banshee, letting it crash into Caboose as she activates her jetpack for a safe landing.

"Let's see you win without me, and while I distract you!" I move my hands under her shirt and start massaging her breasts.

She licks her lips, and slides over into his lap as she draws her energy sword. She picks up a stealth power-up too.

I slide a hand into her pants and purr.

She opens her legs for me as she sneaks around, stabbing, and cutting up members of both teams.

I feel around and move her panties aside, rubbing around and I kiss her.

She purrs, and finishes both teams with a single grenade before turning around to rub her hips against his hand.

"Dammit!" I sigh before smirking.

She chuckles, "I can multitask... you did turn me on though." She lifts her top for me.

I motorboat her boobs with a snicker.

She laughs, and reaches down, undoing my pants with one hand.

I love this woman.

...

*Cinder's POV*

It's been a long time since Poisoned Rose was this... united. I'd broken the group up for Spike's sake, but now...

"Go long!"

I watch as Smoke, and Spike play football with a good sized rock.

Smoke passes it, and Spike catches it, falling right through Chaos in the process.

Chaos snatches the ball and throws it at Smoke, knocking him back a few feet with his power.

Smoke skids to a stop, "Nice one! Ever think about going pro?" He tosses it back to Chaos.

"Pssh, they'd fire me for being too rough on the other team." He catches it. "Hey Cinder, you playing?" He holds the stone for me to see.

I smile, "I am not one for sports such as this."

Smoke raises an eyebrow, "You passing up on violence?"

I roll my eyes, "It is well known to martial artists the most effective means of winning is to avoid conflict."

"It's not really football, it's catch." Chaos says. "It's not football unless you're tackling people! C'mon, play catch with us!"

I smile, "Well I do not see how I may refuse now." I stand, and jog over to join them.

He throws it at me, being no less gentle than when throwing it at Smoke.

I react instantly, planting my feet in a wide stance as I catch it with one hand. I smile, and throw it back to him.

He catches it and lobs it at Spike.

Who get knocked unconscious with it.

Smoke laughs, "Welcome to Mobius, Chaos."

"Huh, you'd think someone raised by an echidna would take that blow and walk it off." Chaos shrugs and stretches his arm, grabbing the stone and throwing it at me.

I catch it, "He gets back up, does he not? I think the term is Playing Oppossum."

He picks up Spike and rolls him up into a ball. "Two balls now!" He throws Spike at Smoke.

Smoke catches him, and sets him down, "Spike can't use Homing Attacks, his quills are too short, and don't sit right on his head."

"Dude, that fox kid with Sonic can Spin Dash with his tails free. I don't think spikes and how they're placed matter." Chaos points out.

"For hedgehogs it's all about quill control," Smoke says with a shrug. "Either that, or Spike just never learned how."

"Let's go with that. After all, I'm pretty sure even I can Spin Dash. Not sure why I'd want to, but I'm sure I can figure it out." Chaos stretches his arms lazily.

I cross my arms, "Your first fight with Sonic was on the evening news, I think more skills would be wasted on you."

"Skills will always help me protect the Master Emerald and those who need it." He says wisely.

I smile, and nods. "Point taken."

"Now toss the ball! No sissy toss either!" He claps his hands together and gets ready to catch.

I smile, and throw it at him with all my might... and then watch as it goes right through him, and lodges in a tree.

He appears to blink before turning to the tree. "Huh, that's never happened before."

"I apologize," I say as I walk around him to pull the rock free. It breaks in half in my hands.

"D'oh!" He snaps his fingers. "Oh well, now we can use a bigger one!" He grabs a huge boulder and lobs it at Smoke.

"Yikes!" Smoke rolls out of the way as it gouges the ground.

"What, too big?" Chaos tilts his head. "Cinder and I can easily toss that thing back and forth!"

"Well not all of us are freaking Hercules," Smoke pants.

I giggle, a bit surprised to have done so before retreiving the boulder.

"I met Hercules. Nice fellow." He tilts his head, probably smirking.

I raise an eyebrow, and with a growl I throw it back to him.

He throws his hands forward, growing bigger, and it slams into him, pushing him back a few feet, but still holding it. He whoops and exclaims, "Yeah, that's better!" He throws it back, just as hard if not harder.

I plant one foot behind me, and catch it with both hands, making it crack in my grip.

"Damn girl, quit breaking our balls!" Chaos complains.

"It's what she does best," Smoke quips.

"Because you would know." Chaos snickers.

"Only when we first met," he says with a wince.

I frown, and let the boulder drop, "Perhaps... Baseball instead?"

"Sure!" Chaos shapeshifts his hand into a bat.

I smile, and yank a branch from a nearby tree, "I meant as a group activity Lord Chaos."

Spike sits up groggily, "Buttermilk biscuits..."

"Well yeah. Where are we gonna get more players?" Chaos asks.

I start collecting rocks of the right weight, "If the royalty would care to join us..."

Lien-Da shrugs. "I'm game."

"Of course!" Julie-Su nods.

Shade nods with a smile, "I've always wished to play this game."

Knuckles crosses his arms. "I guess I'll play too."

Tikal shakes her head. "I think I'll sit this one out."

Spike pulls some clothes out of his quills, "You can be the Umpire!"

"What's an Umpire? Is it like a vampire?" She asks, unsure.

"It's a referee," Smoke explains. "You're the person who makes sure everyone plays by the rules."

"But I don't know the rules." She frowns.

"Good point," SPike mutters.

"She can watch for now, and when she figures it out, she can be the Umpire. Until then, I'll do it." Knuckles takes the gear and puts it on.

Spike flashes a picture, "For sis's scrapbook!"

Knuckles smirks and poses.

Spike takes a few more pictures, and I feel my face heating up in embarrassment. It's when he acts like this when I loathe the idea of him being related to me in any way.

Chaos walks up. "You okay? Your body temperature is going up."

I close my eyes, "I am fine Lord Chaos, but as by our standards Spike is an adult I often wish he would behave as such."

"Not to shove any offense at you, but you took away his childhood. To be frank, it's either be a child or kill everyone, am I right?" He tilts his head.

"It is the same way for our children in times of war, and life for us then was very much a time of war."

"Children during times of war are still children, Cinder. You can't expect everyone to grow up just because you want them to." He places a hand on my shoulder.

I sigh through my nose as I watch Spike wrestle with Knuckles. "...You are right."

He pats my shoulder before saying, "All right, I want to play baseball now, dudes!"

Knuckles nods. "Then let's play ball!"

I blink, and touch my slightly damp shoulder... I was touched by a god... casually.

I take a seat on a fallen log.

Chaos steps up to bat and takes a few practice swings. "Give it your best shot, Spike!" He challenges.

Spike stands on Knuckles for a pitcher's mound, and throws it.

Chaos rears back and gives it a solid whack, turning and dolphin jumping his way to first base.

Spike watches as it goes off the island. "...Knuckles?" He looks down.

Knuckles watches the ball. "Pretty sure that was a foul."

Spike shrugs, and picks up another one. "Back to home plate Chaos!"

"Aw..." Chaos walks back and creates another bat.

Lien-Da adjusts her stance behind home plate.

Spike pitches as hard as he can.

Chaos performs a bunt, but due to the force of the ball, it flies as if it was hit. Julie-Su charges after it, and grabs it before throwing it to first base.

I smile, "I think that's Out."

"Aw..." Chaos walks off the field.

I slide to the side for him to sit.

"...Lord Chaos?"

"Yeah?" He looks at me.

"I... would like to apologize if my attitude in any way offends." I look down at my hands, "Even though my family had joined the modern world we held on to ideals from our ancestors. When I decided to make the pilgrimage here... to say the least you, and the Princesses are not what I had expected to find."

"It's hard to know what to expect around the Guardian." He chuckles.

I nod, "I can see that." I eye where Spike is standing on top of Knuckles as Spike prepares to pitch at Smoke.

I turn to Chaos again, "But... From what I've heard the only one who is as I thought they were is Enerjak."

"Not saying that all people change, but maybe history can be incorrect. After all, I'm not really a monster, but that's how history portrays me." He tilts his head.

"Well you did kill most the echidna populace, a fact even history claims was not unwarranted."

"Hey, they killed the chao and tries to seize the Emeralds. I'm not saying wiping out the echidna populace isn't overkill, but I was pissed, okay?" He says sadly.

"As I said, even history knows you did so for a reason." I hold my arms, "Funny though... my entire clan survived you, but has been reduced only to me by modern society. As it is I'll either take the name of my husband's clan should I eventually marry, or my clan will die with me as it's last member."

He was silent. "You... could marry me..." He says quietly.

I did not know it was possible to choke on your own breath.

I clear my throat, "A thousand pardons Lord Chaos, my imagination is playing with my mind."

"...Yeah." He starts bubbling. "Imagination..."

I stare at him, "You are... bubbling, Lord Chaos. Is there a condition I should be aware of?"

"No. It's just you're the last of the Sea Clan... and I'm technically the first of the Sea Clan." He says, bubbling more.

I nod, "Though not related by blood I can see how that may be true."

I freeze as I start to see my imagination isn't running away with me, and I feel my face start to burn. I quickly focus on a rock by my feet, and clear my throat.

"I... see... I need time to meditate on this, gather my thoughts."

"Of course. I have all of eternity for you decision." He stood and walked over to Tikal, starting to explain the rules to her.

I go sit with my back to a tree... The Destroyer of my people is seriously requesting my hand? Even now that I know he is far from the wrathful deity our legends proclaimed...

I sigh, and stare up at the clouds through the treetops.

"Hey Cinder, are you playing?" Lien-Da calls.

I jump a bit. "F-forgive me Princess Lien-Da, I..."

Spike stares at me, and then turns to Chaos, "Dude, what the hell did you do to my mom? She never stutters, or hesitates."

I feel my face burning hotter, and the need to break something over Spike's head.

"I told her about the Sea Clan." Chaos hedges easily.

I squeeze my eyes shut, "Lord Chaos, may I have a word?"

He tilts his head. "Of course." He walks over.

I lead him out of earshot.

"Lord Chaos... even if I were worthy, I do not believe it would be wise for either of us."

"Tell me your reasoning." He crosses his arms. Not judgingly, just curiously.

"My first reason is because one you brought to light not three minutes ago. You will live to see thousands of years, and I have only a few decades left on this planet."

"It's something I can easily solve. My water/blood makes me immortal. If I deem it so, I can make anyone else immortal as well. What else plagues you?"

I sigh, and sit on a rock with my legs tucked under me. "...When I decided to follow the way of the warrior I sacrificed my womanhood. By this I mean I swore to put all feminine desire behind me to become the strongest warrior our people have ever seen. While I may have succeeded... I would make a poor bride to anyone."

He sits next to me. "But that's why I like you. You care little about what anyone thinks of you. At least, until I broached the subject. You won't go after a guy, and guys are afraid of you. Just because you would be a poor bride means little to me. You would still be my bride." He tilts his head, appearing to smile. "Your insecurity baffles me. Am I really that threatening?"

I sigh, "Honestly... yes, and no. Your demeanor makes it easy to forget the raw power you wield. And to say I care not what others think is false. I have a family now, even though they are not of my clan. Some would consider a union between a revered deity such as yourself, and a disgraced clan like mine blasphemous. As skilled as my Lotus Warriors are, we are not invincible."

He chuckles. "You remind me of the stories I was told when I was young. Would it surprise you to know I wasn't always a water demon god thing?"

"I... was under the impression you were once a Chao, that you were graced by the powers of the Master Emerald with immorality, and the power to protect your kin. So no, it is not so surprising."

"Then you would be correct. But I was the weakest, the outcast. I wasn't allowed to mingle with the other chao, I was a disgrace. If anything, I don't feel adequate enough for you."

That brings me up short... I have nothing to say to that.

He looks down at the ground. "For all of this power, I have no one to share it with. Tikal is like a sister to me, and that's all she'll ever consider me to be, her brother. To be immortal is a curse if there is no one to share it with."

I let that roll around in my head for a minute, and then i feel a smile touch my lips. "...Before making any permanent alterations we should perhaps see if sharing immortality with each other would be more of a curse, eh?"

He chuckles. "Of course. I don't suppose you can come up with some cover story for your kid? He's bound to ask questions."

"Nothing a knock to the head won't fix. And he's as good as an adult, he should know both of us are free to live our lives as best we can."

"He's gonna try to make this relationship go faster then. Isn't that how it works, someone finds out and tries to make it go faster?" He tilts his head.

"He will not get involved because he will not dare cross me," I say firmly.

"He's a child. He'll find a way." He chuckles, walking back into the field. "Is it my turn to bat yet?"

"We haven't switched teams yet, so no," Reave replies.

"Okay. Cinder, I think it's your bat." Chaos says, looking at me.

I nod, and take the oaken branch. I smile as i take my stance by home plate.

"Play ball!" Knuckles calls.

I put the branch over my shoulder as Spike winds up.

VWISH!

CRACK!

POW! "YEAH-HOO-HOO-WHEEEEEEEeeeeee!"

I watch Spike go soaring end over end in the air as he lands in some distant trees... I should really focus on holding back.

Shade blinks, "What... just happened?"

Reave chuckles, "Cinder hit Spike square in the chest with the rock."

Knuckles blinks. "Still, that counts as an out, as Spike technically caught it. That's two outs, next one switches."

I sigh, and toss the bat to Shade. I clear my throat, "So... who's pitching?"

Lien-Da moves off of first base with a smirk. "I guess I will."

Shade twirls the branch in her hands before taking a stance. I sit on the log beside Chaos, somehow unable to wipe a small smile from my face.

...

*Hero's POV*

I kiss Sarah with a purr. "I love you Sarah."

She purrs back as she helps finish lunch, "I love you too Hero."

Milie stretches, "Hey Hero, about my sister..."

"Yeah?" I turn to Millie.

"You're not taking her this time, right?"

I frown. "I never really thought about it... I guess not. She has a baby on the way, and I don't want a miscarriage."

Millie nods, "Good."

Sarah looks sad that she won't get to come, and rubs her belly.

"I'll come visit every chance I get." I promise her, giving her a hug.

She nods, holding me close.

"C'mon Anti, we're gonna leave without you!" I call.

Antonio walks in "I'm here, I'm here."

Millie walks over, and pecks his cheek, "Ready to open a can of Whoopass?"

"Of course! That, and a can of Death!" Antonio smirks. "So we're going to Mobotropolis, right?"

I nod. "Yeah."

"Get your mom and whoever's joining us. I'll build us a proper vehicle." Antonio says, walking away.

I switch abilities and teleport to Angel Island.

"UUUUUUUUNCCLLLLLLLEEE!" Spike taps out furiously as Cinder holds his arm in a break hold. Smoke watches casually, and offers Chaos some popcorn.

Chaos takes a handful and dumps it onto his face. It dissolves away.

I blink. "Uh... what's going on here?"

Reave explains, "Spike wanted to show off how good at fighting he's gotten, but apparently Cinder is still the better of them."

"I can see that." I blink. "Well, I'm ready to go. Whoever's going to Mobotropolis with me, I'm here to take them."

Lien-Da and Julie-Su walk up, and Seis warps in and walks forward too. "Almost left me, boyo!" He smirks.

Smoke stands, "We'll be making our way to Soleanna to hit up this Couterpunch guy. Sies, I thought your team was coming with us?"

"Ah, right. My mistake." Seis walks over. "I'm just itchin' for action!"

Knuckles walks over. "Tikal, please watch the Master Emerald for me."

She nods. "All right. Best wishes, everyone."

I blink in surprise as Cinder gives Chaos a hug as best she can.

"I will return."

"Pssh, I'm coming with. There's no way I'm missing an adventure!" Chaos scoffs.

"But who will watch Tikal?" I ask.

"I've been training her in the Master Emerald. She should be fine." Chaos says.

Cinder nods with a smile, "Well we must try to help you stay unnoticed in that case."

"A disguise? I've never needed a disguise... How about this?" He shapeshifted into a cyan echidna with a pink blotch on his forehead and green eyes. "Now all I need are clothes." He says.

Spike pulls a vest, and sombrero from his quills, "Here Hombre!"

Chaos puts it on. "Huh... I guess it'll work until we get there."

Spike shrinks back from Cinder's stare as Smoke waves Jane over. I smirk, it looks like they're going to have lots of fun.

"All right. Shade, are you coming?" Knuckles waves her over as I start concentrating.

Shade jogs over with a nod as we vanish from sight.

Tloj: Cinder and Chaos sitting in a tree-AH! GET AWAY FROM ME, CINDER! *runs away.*

Cinder scowls and mutters, "I hate that song. Anyways, read and review. If you haven't already, fave and follow this story so other people can read this story. Everything is owned by someone, apparently. If anyone says I'm owned by HTKWolfe777, I'll rip out their spine."
