A/N: 52 reviews, got to love it. I thank all of you that has continued reading this far... all I can say is I hope so far you've enjoyed the ride, and continue to enjoy it. Now the next couple chapters might take me a bit to get out. I had the story, beginning to end in my head. But a couple of you mentioned something about Tootie, trying to take Timmy back... so I'm going to rework some of the other chapters, or rewrite them if need be to fit some of that in. I kinda liked the idea of a slight role reversal for Tootie, and Vicki. Also this story had been only intended for Timmy and Vicki's PoV... Now I'm going to be adding Tootie to the mix, at least for trial. If I don't like it, I'll go back to the original plan.

(Tootie's PoV)

"Who does she think she is?" Tootie muttered to no one, as she sat on her bed almost clawing one of the stuffed bears on her bed. Vicki had stolen Timmy from her. What right did she have? And Timmy! Was he was actually alright with this? Had he so easily forgotten how mean Vicki had been to him... to everyone? Did he really see something sweet inside her? Yeah... Okay, so Vicki had become nicer. That didn't change what she had done to Timmy though. All the years of torment, all the humiliation. He was stupid. But it didn't matter if he was stupid, he was hers. Vicki had to be manipulating him some how... She was going to show him, that she could be much better than Vicki.

She tossed the stuffed bear off to the side as she got up to rummage through her closet. Her body had matured a lot since she was younger. While she was no super model, she still thought she looked pretty good. Better than Vicki anyways, she thought, and really that's all she had to do... look better than Vicki.

"Ungh... Nothing!" She didn't really have anything that said... sexy in her closet. She'd out grown most of her skirts, and while those would show Timmy her 'goods' she really didn't want everyone else seeing them as well... So that was a no go. She could always go to the mall and find something there that would appeal to Timmy... after all he belonged to her... she just had to make him realize that

Clothing store after clothing store, she looked and searched... she found plenty that she liked, and bought few that she really wanted. But she hadn't found that special something, yet. She was going to find something that would make him forget all about that redheaded witch of a sister she had. She was about to give up on this store and continue her search, when she found a black skirt that she thought would be perfect. She hadn't worn a skirt that hadn't come to her knees since she was ten. This one, she thought as she pulled it off the rack to get a closer inspection... might come mid thigh. After trying it on, she decided she was taking the skirt, and a few other things she wanted to the counter to pay.

She sat in her usual spot in the food court, which used to be her's and Timmy's. Until A.J., and Chester realized that she wasn't that bad, and started hanging around too. Timmy had given her a chance as they had grown, he'd offered friendship. He never promised her anything beyond that. Though, inside she still knew that Timmy was her's. They were meant to be together.

Not feeling hungry she just got a drink and sat there drinking from it. Planning out in her mind how to make Timmy her's. It wasn't going to be hard, but at the same time it wouldn't be easy. She had to first get Timmy alone, without that redheaded succubi, so he could fully appreciate her. How was he supposed to realize he wanted her, when he had to worry about Vicki getting angry?

At the same time, she also wondered when she had started liking Timmy again... She had given up on him, about the same time he stopped fawning over, that Trixie girl. Did she just want him, because now he was interested in someone else? Did she only want him, when he wanted someone else? No that couldn't be it... just couldn't be. She had been in love with Timmy for as long as she could remember, and Vicki just wanted him because she was selfish.

(Vicki's PoV)

She hadn't talked to Timmy about how Tootie acted a couple of days before. She didn't want to have to say she failed trying to fix things... she'd never failed before. She used to get everything that she wanted, even when it meant nothing to her. How come when she found something she wanted, and it meant the world to her... Okay... the relationship was new, but it didn't make it any less special to her. No one really knew her like Timmy. He ever looked passed all the bad she'd done, all the verbal and emotional abuse she caused, and he still looked past all that and saw her.

Vicki didn't think she had 'stolen' Timmy from anyone. Tootie said she wasn't interested... now that she thought about it. Timmy was like her, that's why she liked him. No one had seemed interested in him either. His parents were always... somewhere, as long as they didn't have to be around him. The girl he obsessed over couldn't even remember his name. Even his 'friends' had seemed to side with Tootie over him... and not just when Tootie had found about her and Timmy. She thought about the times Tootie would come into her room and tell her about her day. Vicki remembered because she always hoped Tootie would say Timmy had mentioned her. But a lot of times it was about what her, A.J., and Chester did, Timmy hadn't even been there most of the time.

The only person that ever seemed interested in Timmy, aside from her sister, when Tootie had been stalkerish was that little blonde girl that hung around the snob... what was her name... Oh yeah Veronica. Either Timmy had been completely unaware of the psychotic girl, or he knew to stay away from her. Either way, Vicki knew that, that blonde was insane. Lets see... There was another two that Timmy had hung around with. The foreign kid, and the one with a boil... they both had moved... at least she thought they moved. Didn't matter, she couldn't even recall their names.

So now, she was developing feelings for Timmy. She knew it would be seen as wrong... there was an age gap. She knew most people wouldn't ever be able to get over, 'Babysitter, dating the kid she babysat.' It shouldn't be a bad thing, Tootie could have almost anyone she wanted... or at least have a much bigger selection. Her's on the other hand, wasn't so big. Selection didn't matter, she knew inside of her, that Timmy would be the one she would choose even if other boys were interested in her.

This morning at breakfast, Timmy had actually had a conversation with her... it didn't seem like much. But after almost 3 day of pretty much silence expect for a few words here or there. And that the past two night's he'd slept in his room upstairs... she was worried whatever they had started feeling for each other, had been burned up by Tootie's temper. And that was making her worried, with each day that passed and he barely said anything, she felt part of her was breaking inside.

All that changed, when he started a conversation this morning though. He seemed much more upbeat than he had before, and he hadn't even closed himself off in his room after eating. Once the kitchen was cleaned up, they sat on the couch watching something. She couldn't even remember what they had been watching, he had leaned her head on his shoulder And had been lost in thought... then ended up falling asleep on his shoulder. It was a good day, a happy day. She was happy.

Now she sat on the couch, she had been watching a show, that now had long since ended. She had been too wrapped up in her own thoughts. She leaned back deciding if she wanted to get something to eat, or not. Timmy had said he was bringing back something for lunch, and he should be back soon. She decided to send a text asking him when he planned to be back. As she waited for a reply, the phone rang.

"Hello?" she asked into the phone after managing to get to it.

"Is this the Turner residence?" a deep voice came from the other end, she should have said it was the Turner's residence, but she wasn't used to answering a phone like that. Honestly, not many people actually called her. She wasn't used to answering at all.

"Yes, it is."

"Is Timothy Turner there?"

"No but I'm... the babysitter." It wasn't really a lie, she had been his babysitter, and this didn't sound like a call from a friend. "Can I help you?"

"We weren't aware... ahem. We wanted to give some warning before an officer shows up, they are not the most sensitive people in the world." Officer, she wondered. What had Timmy done? "There was an accident, Mr. and Mrs. Turner has passed away."

"What do you mean?" What else could it mean? She felt stupid for even asking the question... but it was all her mind could come up with. Timmy's parents were dead... what did this mean for Timmy? Would he be sent off to some foster home? Maybe whatever had been building between them had been some cosmic joke, and was now about to be tore from them. She listened to the person on the phone, her mind absorbed the words, even if it didn't completely understand. She hoped she could explain this to Timmy before someone showed up here and told him... he needed some kind of warning.

(Timmy's PoV)

He'd just walked through his front door, carrying the bags of things they needed from the store, along with a couple bad from a restaurant that he trusted. He found Vicki right where he expected, but the officer sitting in the chair across from her, had been a surprise. He'd seen the police car outside, he just assumed it was there for some other reason. Vicki got up, and used her crutches to stand in front of him. She asked the officer if she could have a moment alone with him, who agreed and asked him to follow her.

He wanted to know what Vicki had done... well he knew what Vicki had done in her past... had someone finally informed the police? It was possible... but he didn't want her to go. She sat on her bed, and patted the area next to her. She still wasn't entirely used to being nice, he could see that. Would she stop being nice if she was locked up.

"Timmy... There's something... really bad I need to tell you." He didn't know if he even wanted to know, she didn't look like she was in trouble, but she did look like, she didn't know what to say.

"Alright... what's the officer..."

"I'll get to that. First, I've spoken with the officer, and someone will be by for me to sign some papers... but I want you to know first... that no matter what. I want you to know..." she sighed and looked to the bed between them. Okay this was really bad... but what papers? "No matter what I'm here for you, okay?"

"Okay Vicki, but..."

"Timmy, you mom and dad... they won't be coming back." Extended vacation, he thought at first. Then his mind wandered to the police officer outside, did someone call protective services? Technically he was old enough to watch himself. "They died in an accident"

(Vicki's PoV)

She watched him closely as she said the words. She could tell the moment her words were absorbed. She didn't know what to do when his mouth just opened and closed. It was no wonder he was at a lose for words. She wouldn't know what to say, if she had been told something like that. It wasn't like her and her parents were close, but she wouldn't know what to say if they were gone.

She lead a very quiet Timmy back into the living room, and wasn't sure if he was even listening to what the officer said. She was intent on watching Timmy, and barely listening, only because she and the officer had already talked about all of it before Timmy had arrived.

She would act as Timmy's guardian, she was old enough legally to act as his guardian. It would only be on paper, a way that he wouldn't have to live in a foster home. She'd be the one that would be legally responsible for him. This might have been the most selfless act she had ever done. She had thought long and hard, when the officer suggested it... because he didn't want to see another youth get lost, in the legal system. More than that, she didn't want to lose Timmy.
