(Update)

The Last chapter's views were down.

So 's formatting issues killed this fiction. So expect this to be the final chapter.

Chapter 16, and over 80 reviews, again I'd like to apologize about last chapter's formatting issues when it was first posted. That is something that's only ever happened twice. I posted it late at night, and found out that morning that the formatting messed up. It's fixed now, I just wanted to apologize to the few people it bothered. And given one of the reviews, I assume it also sent a few readers away. I'll see how this chapter fairs in popularity, and if it is low, I'll gracefully end this fiction and replace it with a new one.

I never expected this story to turn out like it did. I didn't plan a lot to this story, it had only intended to be a short one... then again I should have known better. All of my stories began as one/twoshots... and they just kinda evolved.

Oh and I still don't own Fairly Odd Parents. Big Shocker right? I about freaked when I found out I didn't own them.

( Vicki's PoV )

V.A.A.V

Vicky sighed as she put her things on the couch and sat down. She had gotten up early, and decided that she'd return back to Timmy's house shortly after waking up. After as many times as she'd been to the Turner house, and the few months she'd been here with Timmy, she'd began to see this house as home. She never once thought that Timmy didn't want to be there. Maybe because when she first arrived he didn't seem to care one way or another. He had seemed more than happy with his home, and to share it with her. She could see how it would bother him. His entire life was in this house. His parents had bought the house shortly before he was born, so he had literally lived in this house his entire life. All the good times, and bad times. The house would seem like a constant reminder of his parents... Plus the fact that it housed all the memories of her babysitting him... all the bad things she'd done to him. It was no wonder that at his lowest moments he'd be reminded about those times here in this house.

"Alright," she muttered to herself getting up with her crutches. "Time to wake him up... and see if he's still angry."

Once she'd managed to get up the stairs and to his room, she knocked on his door. No answer. Not really surprised there, she thought as she turned the handle and entered the room. She flipped on the light waiting for the groan that would come... except it didn't. He wasn't in the room. She checked his parents room, the other spare room, and the bathroom. He wasn't in any of them. Quickly and safely she made her way back down stairs, and straight to her room. If he was here... this would be the only other room he'd be in, she thought... hoped.

"Timmy?" She called into the room, before turning on the lights. She didn't actually see him, but the Timmy sized lump under the blanket was a dead giveaway who was there... she sighed in relief as the 'lump' shifted. So he was safe, and sleeping in her bed.

Vicki sat on the edge of the bed, and put her hand on the 'lump', which stopped moving/shifting, no longer interested in finding a comfortable spot. She wondered if he had woken up since she had called his name, or if he just stopped because something had touched him. She knew it couldn't be because he relaxed from her touch, he didn't even know she was back. She heard his voice, but didn't actually hear him. She leaned closer.

"Vicki..." his voice was so soft... she barely was able to make out the word. She wasn't even sure if he was awake.

"It's me." She waited he didn't reply, didn't move. Was he dreaming? If he was, she'd give almost anything to see what it was. To see what he saw... so she could understand. "Timmy?"

He moved a bit more under the blanket but didn't wake. She wondered how long he might have been up the night before, fretting over his actions. Tootie had told her, that she laid into him last night more after she had left the room. If Vicki had of been who she was before, she would have yelled at him for as long as he'd listen if he had treated Tootie like that... worse even. She left Timmy to sleep while she went into the kitchen to try to make lunch... or breakfast in Timmy's case.

( Timmy's PoV )

V.A.A.V

Timmy hadn't paid them much attention when they arrived home. Why bother right? His parents never really paid him any attention, so he was just returning the favor. Of course they bombarded Vicki with questions concerning her accident on the stairs. A long with the normal questions, like what she'd been doing over they last couple years. Normal things people ask when they hadn't seen someone in a long time. The next two days passed by as normal as he expected.

"Hey Timmy." His father's voice somewhere over his shoulder. He tried to ignored it, but instead he made a noise indicating that he'd heard him. "Your mother and I are going to be heading out again... you know work stuff."

"Another vacation... yeah alright see you when you get back." He said, even though inside he screamed he wanted them to stay... that he didn't want them to leave, something bad was going to happen.

"Maybe we can do something when we get back." he heard his fathers voice... he'd actually heard that voice make that same promise before. Though it never happened.

"If you say so." his voice seemed bored, yet aggravated.

He watched them walk out the door for the last time, he didn't care. They always left, came back... then would leave again. So why was he concerned? He wasn't. It didn't matter anyways, he had Vicki now. A thought that was still strange to him, but it was nice to be needed by someone. Someone that actually cared what you did, and needed your help.

A.V.V.A

He sat in his room after yelling at Vicki. After he'd blown up and told her they shouldn't be in some kind of relationship. Why did she have to know what was wrong with him anyways? It wasn't like it really mattered... and even if it did, she should know what was wrong with him. Hadn't she been here the entire time? Or was she not paying attention? Maybe all of this was just some kind of game to her.

He stared out the window through the blinds. He could see her looking up at his window, though he was sure that she couldn't see him. She was waiting... was she seriously waiting for him to come down there and stop her? What was the point? She was leaving. Everyone leaves. He watched the car, until he couldn't see it anymore. He knew it was only a few houses down, but it felt like she was on another planet.

A.V.V.A

He didn't want to be alone. Sadly everyone was destined to leave him, His parents, Vicki... everyone even Tootie left him. She got angry because he was in love with her sister. Yes Tootie had been hopelessly in love with him. She had also said she was over it, and hadn't really showed any signs that she had feelings for him other than friendly feelings. How was he supposed to know? She was supposed to be his best friend. Had become more of a best friend than either Chester or A.J., but it didn't matter to her.

A.V.V.A

Speaking of Chester and A.J., those back stabbers had even taken Tootie's side when Tootie threw a fit. Just abandoning him...more people to leave him... always leaving him... what did he ever do to them?

A.V.V.A

"Timmy... Wake up."

He sat up in bed, expecting it to be just a bad dream. One by one he saw each person appear in a line before him, and one by one, he watched them walk away from him. First Tootie, A.J., then Chester, then his mother and father. Finally it was Vicki. She turned before leaving, a sad look on her face, as if she was being sent away... because she was the only one he had pushed away. "Timmy..." her voice was soft, and the next part confused him. "Wake up."

"No!" He screamed, he ran towards her... as she walked away, he didn't understand what she said... the only thing that he understood was that she was leaving. Even walking she managed to create a larger gap between them. And he screamed for her to come back... begged her not to leave him. He felt hands on him, something grabbed him. "Let go, I gotta I have..."

A.V.V.A

"I have..." he sat up screaming... was this real or was he sleeping again? How many times had he woken up, to find out someone was leaving him again? Though whatever had him in the dream, still was wrapped around him. So he was still dreaming then. He didn't realize that he had been crying, until he heard her voice.

"It's okay. Let it out." With no other option presented, he did just that. He cried for the loss of his parents, and friendships. Despite having those friendships back. He sobbed his apology, and how he didn't want her to go. That he didn't want to be alone. Maybe she had understood enough of what he tried to say. "It's okay, I'm not going to leave... I was never really going to leave. I planned to come back today before I left."

( A few Minutes ago )

V.A.A.V

Vicki had been in the kitchen doing her best, with one crutch to make lunch for herself, and Timmy. It wasn't as difficult as it would have been even w few weeks before. She'd managed to start doing pretty well with crutches. Worst part about learning how to move around easier, was that soon she wouldn't even need the crutches, depending on her next appointment. Yeah she'd be able to walk again, but it was a pain to learn something new, that you'd hardly use.

"Oh well," she mumbled to herself as she made the sandwiches, then putting them onto the plate.

She was about halfway to the table when she heard something that sounded like glass smashing from her room. Where she had left Timmy. With the one crutch she made her way as fast as she could to her room. Was he angry? Did he trip? Is he alright? Questions kept running through her mind before she opened the door.

She wasn't sure what she had expected to see when she opened the door. But the Timmy shaped lump on the bed flailing about, which kind of looked like he was running, was not one of the things she imagined seeing. She spotted the lamp that had obviously been the slass shattering that she heard, while she made her way to the bed.

"Timmy... Wake up." Her words had no effect on the boy. Did this count as sleep walking? Because you're not supposed to wake someone who's sleep walking... she'd risk it. She waited and watched... then grabbed him when she wouldn't be hit by a flailing arm. Then just held him "Timmy wake up!"

"I got..." he screamed in her ear making her wince. Though the wetness spreading on her shoulder had her more concerned.

"It's okay. Let it out." Her words seemed to have throw open the flood gates. Yes, Timmy had cried about his parents, and Tootie's betrayal. Along with his two friends. But he'd done these silently. Oh she always knew... but maybe he didn't know she had been awake while he sobbed silently. She barely understood the words that came from his mouth, between the tears. And the fact that he was speaking so fast. Then he sobbed a barely understood apology, how he was angry... and he really didn't want her to go. "It's okay, I'm not going to leave... I was never really going to leave. I planned to come back today before I left."

He continued to cry against her shoulder. He needed this, and he needed her. Guardian, Babysitter, Lover, Girlfriend... those were just titles... he needed Her, didn't matter which title was attached to her. It shocked her to come to that realization. I didn't matter what she was, where she was. He needed her, as much as she was beginning to see how much she wanted, and needed him.

A.V.V.A

The next day she and Timmy went to her doctors appointment. She sat patiently for the x-rays. All the while wondering about Timmy out in the waiting room. He tended to get bored easily... but he wouldn't leave her here... because she had the keys, she thought as she sat on the uncomfortable bed, waiting for the x-rays to be ready. Also it was her job to keep Timmy out as long as she could.

"Ahh there you are." The Doctor said as he entered the room. As if she was going to be anywhere else. "I've got good news for you Victoria."

"Vicki." Vicki corrected, she hated her name. Really really hated Victoria.

"Vicki it is," He smiled, he called her Victoria every time and she always corrected him. Maybe he just liked being corrected. She wasn't sure. "But the news is. We can remove your cast today. Luckily you were not in it long enough to require physical therapy... but." He held out a cane to her. "You might find this useful for a while at fit, while you rebuild some muscle in your leg."

"About time!" she almost yelled. She watched him open a drawer and pull out a surgical saw... then she almost yelled again. "What the hell!"

"I'm going to remove the cast."

"What if it cuts my leg?"

"It won't... as long as you hold still." Oh that did not reassure her. She was supposed to hold still while he cut into something that was around her leg. That didn't sound good at all.

A.V.V.A

Twenty five minutes, and what felt like three heart attacks later, the cast had been removed. Saying 'Opps', while using a saw around someone's leg... was not funny. Not funny at all, she thought as she watched the doctor toss the two pieces of cast into one of the bins.

"Alright... now use the cane and try to stand." she did as he told her, her muscles felt tight, but she was standing. "Good good, your leg didn't break again... so it looks like once you fill out the paperwork, you can get to walking."

"You know Doc... you have a weird since of humor." Vicki muttered as she followed him slowly, silently thanking him for the cane. She doubted she'd be able to walk without it. She signed her paperwork, and was escorted out into the waiting area where she spotted Timmy at the far wall. Seems he had moved as more and more people arrived.

"Alright Timmy, time to go." She said walking over towards him.

"The cast's off." The smile on his face warmed her heart. She couldn't remember the last real smile that he had had.

"Yep... so lets celebrate. Ice cream... your treat." she said as they slowly made it back to the car.

"I don't like ice cream." Timmy said once he helped her in, and got into the passenger side.

"Since when... never mind. Okay, well figure out something. We can't... I mean. I've been cooped up far too long. And wasn't it you that told me a while ago when I first moved into your house, I couldn't spend the entire time cooped up in the house?" He didn't argue, just looked at her... Those words come back and bit you in the butt didn't they, she thought to herself.

"Okay... maybe we can stop somewhere for lunch." Timmy said looking through the GPS, for something close by. But Vicki knew where she was going, no matter what he found. She needed to kill more time. It wasn't time yet, because Tootie hadn't texted her.

She knew that Timmy didn't want to stay in the house anymore. So Chester A.J., were helping tell the movers which things went where. What they wouldn't use would go into storage, and other things they'd bring to the apartment that Vicki had found. Normally it would take a while to get approved. More so with those apartments... but once Vicki handed over the first and last months rent, deposit in cash. The manager seemed to had found a way to speed up the process. Yeah it was Timmy's money... but she was supposed to provide for him, and that meant mental health too. She knew he'd break in that house. She was putting the house up for-sale, which would fill the gap until Timmy founded one he wanted.

Since Tootie, Chester and A.J., knew Timmy best. It was their job to figure out what in the house Timmy picked out, and what his parents did. Tootie explained that since, she (Vicki) had stopped babysitting, his parents were hardly ever home. That Timmy had picked out most of the furniture. The only parts of the house that didn't scream Timmy, was his parents room. So Vicki told her to mark those boxes for storage. And every thing else to have loaded in the moving truck. The plan was... when everything was moved, and at least the livingroom and kitchen of the apartment were ready, Tootie would text her. And she'd drive back to the apartment.

"Hey I think I found a..." Timmy finally noticed that she had pulled into a parking lot, of one of the restaurants she always wanted to go to. "Never mind... isn't this place kind of expensive?"

"Lets just pretend it's our first date." Ever since his parents passed, neither of them as actually talked about what had been happening between them, she was guessing that she'd find out soon what label she was wearing at the moment.

"I guess..."

A.V.V.A

Definitely the girlfriend label, she thought to herself as they were back on the road. Tootie had sent her a text message, about halfway through their lunch. Vicki had to wait until Timmy used the restroom before she could text Tootie back. Tootie's only reply was that everything should be put away when they got there. That the movers were pretty quick.

"Hey this isn't the way home." Timmy said looking out the window, then she felt his focus land on her.

"No it's not the way back to the house... we have to make a... stop first, trust me. You'll like it." Vicki said, hoping that she was right. Yeah he said he didn't want to live there anymore... but would he welcome the move?

She pulled into a parking space in the apartment complex and motioned Timmy to come with her. He kept protesting he didn't want to meet anyone today that he'd wait in the car. Finally she had to result to telling him she might need some help that her leg was hurting. Which wasn't a lie, the doctor was right, it would take time to build muscle back up.

They made it to the door, and instead of knocking on the door, she pulled out her keys and found the new key on the ring and fit it into the door. "Come on in Timmy."

"What? Who's apartment is this Vicki..."

"Welcome Home!" Tootie, Chester, A.J., and Vicki called out as he walked through the door.

A.V.V.A

He was slightly... not completely shocked by everyone being there as he stepped in. Then he noticed the furniture in the living room, were from his house. Had she had everything moved in the last six hours... that seemed impossible for just three people.

"How?" Timmy asked, because it was impossible that three people packed everything up and moved it across town.

"Well..." She explained it all to him, how she hired a moving company, and his three friends wanted to help as well. So who was she to stop free labor?

"Enough explanation! Lets celebrate for real." Chester called from behind and open pizza box... obviously he wasn't waiting anymore.

"Lets do it. Not we can celebrate the move, and Vicki being mobile again." A.J., said and still seemed a little unnerved by the fact that it was Vicki that Timmy was dating now.

"Kinda mobile." Tootie laughed, and Vicki playfully growled.

So this would be his life from now on? A new place without all those memories. Great friends, that sometimes aggravated him to no end. A beautiful girlfriend, and an apartment to make new memories in. All in all, he couldn't have asked for a better ending, or a better beginning. He could live with this.
