Mikael circled the group but no matter where he went Elijah followed him like if they tied to on and other.

"Elijah what do you think you're doing?" Mikael asked.

"I'm protecting my brother and his mate." Mikael cringed at the name 'mate'.

"You think Niklaus deserves the gift of Caroline?" Mikael yelled out to his eldest son.

"And do you think you do?" Elijah said disgusted. "Caroline is a 17-year-old girl, you are 49. What you did to her is consider rape!"

Klaus's eyes shot up and he instantly wanted to kill Mikael but the only white oak stake was being held in Mikael's hand. His hybrids features began to show, but he felt a pair of small hands grabbing his. Tears filled her eyes as she remembered what Mikael did to her.

"Don't." Caroline started staring straight in Mikael's eyes. "He isn't even worth it."

Mikael flashed towards her, but Elijah came in the way throwing his father on the ground. "I gave you a new life!" He yelled.

"You turn me against everyone I loved!" She yelled. "Well guess what, I'm here standing next to your son and man I love without an urge to kill him because I beat the compulsion, you can't hurt me ever again." Klaus smiled down at Caroline taking her hand in his. He loved his little angel, but he loved it when her dark side came out to play. Elijah walked up next to Caroline and she took his hand as well.

"Just leave father, we all have each other while you have NO ONE."

"Yes father!" Klaus spoke up. "Leave! Please then I win and I get the girl I love and she loves ME back! Not you. Leave now and the next time I see you your I will bring you a painful death." Klaus smirked and stared his father down.

Mikael began to laugh and he flashed in front of Klaus. Klaus swiftly put Caroline behind him and Elijah grabbed Caroline so he stood behind Klaus and she stood behind two originals. "Your mouth, Niklaus. Keep it up and you will no longer have it." Klaus chuckled and punched his father I'm the face grabbing Elijah and Caroline and flashed off into the woods.

Klaus wasn't one to run, but he had to make sure Caroline would be placed somewhere same.

He saw a house coming up from the distance and ran as fast as he could to it. Klaus notice with was the same house of 100's of dead witches.

Klaus set Caroline in and they ran inside, but when Elijah tried it threw him back. The witches were whispering something about Mikael coming. Elijah groaned and sat up dusting off his suit. "Stupid vile blood-curdling witches." In his moment of distraction Mikael flash to him and shoved the stake inside of Elijah and backed away.

"And you my son are a harrowing, abhorrent creature."

Caroline screamed wanting to go outside to help Elijah, but klaus held her back looking at his brother with tears and anger in his eyes. (Think about the time when he saw Kol die and how heartbroken he was).

Elijah gasped crawling up the steps. Any wrong move the stake could pierce his heart but then something happen. The witches were helping him some how. Elijah stared at the white oak stake that was being pushed out without his help. When it finally all came out Elijah let out a big breath. Now he was one step a head. He had the stake.

"What do you plan on doing, Elijah? Kill your own dad?" Elijah ignored his question and began to speak of the time he regretted the most:

"The first time you hit Niklaus I should have struck you dead." In a flash Elijah punched Mikael in the face and flash back to his original spot. "Cheers to second chances."

this is a short chapter because I want to start to next chapter with the fight scene.
