Author's Note: Well, we have reached the endgame. I am aware that the ending of this fic will probably be crappy and gloss over some things, but, hey, I think these last chapters wrap things up nicely.
Now, if you need me, I'll be editing parts of the fic to get rid of continuity errors with In Argo.
Disclaimer: Nope. I still don't own One Piece. Nor has Oda read this fic yet.
"Yuki-Rin? Yuki-Rin?"
Yuki-Rin woke up, and she saw herself on the decks of the Hyperion. Standing a few feet away from her was a teenage boy with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Who are you?" Yuki-Rin asked, confused as to what happened.
"My name is Yugito. Yugito Miyafuji."
"Are you... Related to Kazuma?" Yuki-Rin asked.
"I am the child you could have had," Yugito said, taking a step toward Yuki-Rin. "I was conceived when you were raped by Roscoe. You did me a huge favor when you killed him, but I lost all respect for you when you killed me, you selfish bitch."
"How is that even selfish?!" Yuki-Rin cried in horror. Yugito responded by taking another step toward Yuki-Rin.
"You took my life away. I will never know what it feels like to learn to walk, learn my first words, go to school, have brothers and/or sisters, have a girlfriend, go to college, get married, become a pirate or a Marine, or have some semblance of a life," Yugito explained. "I think it's fair to say that I don't like you. You and your cronies have taken away several lives during your voyage."
"They were bad people who were harming me and my crew! Do you have any empathy at all?! Do you?!" Yuki-Rin cried. Yugito didn't answer, but walked right up to Yuki-Rin and began to strangle her.
"No. I have no respect for killers like you. I can only make an exception in the case of Roscoe, because had I lived, it would have been fucking terrifying to have a rapist for a father," Yugito explained, gripping tighter on Yuki-Rin's neck. "All you care about is money, beauty, and love. What about the lives of others?"
Yugito let go of Yuki-Rin's neck, allowing her to breathe.
"I thought so," Yugito said. Yuki-Rin then lunged at Yugito and tackled him to the ground.
"What the fuck is your problem?!" Yuki-Rin screamed. Yugito remained silent. "Who the fuck do you think you are?!"
Yugito smirked.
"I am the future," Yugito answered. "Here's your horoscope - At first, everything will get better, and you will have some of the best times of your life. Then, you and those you love will experience a massive, downward spiral until all you are is a husk of yourself. And then, you will die. It's life. Get off your high horse and get used to it."
Yuki-Rin slapped Yugito across the cheek.
"How about YOU get off your high horse?!" Yuki-Rin yelled. "I don't like shallow critics such as yourself! You either like me or hate me! Get fucking used to it!"
Yuki-Rin then got off of Yugito, allowing him to stand up and brush himself off.
"Sure, I could get used to it. Doesn't mean I'll like it," Yugito said. "Also, you may want to give up murdering people for a living. You are going on the warpath with it, and it will end very badly if you keep killing those who disagree with you, just saying."
Yugito then turned around and began to walk away.
"Wait! Where are you going?! I'm not done with you!" Yuki-Rin yelled. Yugito turned back and glared at Yuki-Rin.
"I don't have to tell you," Yugito answered bluntly. "Mind your own fucking business."
As Yugito walked away, Yuki-Rin felt her vision grow black and fuzzy again.
"You've been sick with an infection for a week. Get up now."
When Yuki-Rin woke up, she was in the sick bay, with a very angry Ageha standing above her.
"What happened?" Yuki-Rin asked slowly.
"Well, for starters, you lost the baby with your little stunt and you almost died of blood poisoning," Ageha explained. "Secondly, we're going back to the Goa Kingdom."
"What?" Yuki-Rin asked. "Why?"
"Well, for starters, it turns out that your mother and father both survived their execution somehow, and we need to deal with them," Ageha explained. "Secondly, we need to lay low."
"What happened while I was out of it?" Yuki-Rin asked.
"Obviously, while you were out of the loop, something really bad happened," Ageha explained. "We ran into the Stockholm Syndrome Pirates. Aki got kidnapped by them, and one of the crew members ended up raping her. Heathcliffe found her, tortured her rapist for twelve straight hours, and then murdered him."
Yuki-Rin grew silent.
"Did... Did Aki have to see that? Heathcliffe's little torture session?" Yuki-Rin asked.
"No. Do not talk to Aki about what happened. Her mind's still in a delicate state," Ageha explained curtly. "Because of that, the Stockholm Syndromes retaliated. We killed all of them but Yuriko, who got away. However... We lost Kaoru, Mina, and Maki-chan."
Yuki-Rin grew silent.
"Why?" Was the first word out of Yuki-Rin's mouth.
"Because we had to. There was no other choice," Ageha explained sadly. "It's either kill or be killed at this point."
Ageha said nothing as she left the room. As soon as she was gone, Yuki-Rin began to cry.
"This is all of my fault. I really am a selfish bitch," Yuki-Rin thought to herself. "Three of my crew members died because of me. And Kaoru's death was in vain because he just got done with all the stuff with Lavinia."
At that moment, Yuki-Rin stopped crying. She realized something that would change the Capricorns' game.
"Ageha's right. Kill or be killed. Yugito's advice be damned. He is just a figment of my imagination."
Ending Note: We have one more chapter and an epilogue to go! Home stretch, here we come!
