Author's Note ~ Okay. This is kinda a BTR meets ROTBTD sorta thing. {Haters gonna hate!} Also, CarlosXMerida, HiJack, Kogan, JamesXRapunzel and Modern Au! Enjoy! ~
They never had been to LA before. This was so new to them. And they were staying for three whole months. Could this get any better? Oh, if the famous Palm Woods pool, the amazing Palm Woods park and the studio tour wasn't enough, they didn't know what was. And things were about to get VERY interesting.
"Gentlemen," Kendall said to the other three members of Big Time Rush, that were sitting on their orange couch that fateful afternoon,"There is among us. Internet sensations!" Logan raised an eyebrow,"Come again Kendall." Kendall sighed,"A group of Palm Woods newbies, is moving in." Carlos' eyes widened as he glanced at the others. This day was about to get rather fun and exciting.
"There you four are," Said Mr Bitters as he handed Hiccup the hotel room key,"Hope you enjoy your stay at the Palm Woods." "Thanks," Hiccup replied as he turned to his friends and they went to their room. '12G'. Once they got to the room and got settled, Jack ran for the couch, Merida ran for the fridge, and Rapunzel went to go check out the pool. Leaving Hiccup to wander around the lobby. As he walked through the lobby he bumped into a boy with spiked black hair. "I'm sorry," Hiccup said. "No, no, it's entirely my fault, I didn't watch where I was going." The kid replied. Hiccup sat down and pulled out his laptop.
"Whatcha doing?" The boy questioned. "Checking to see the comments on our web series," Hiccup replied. The kid raised an eyebrow," 'Our'?" "My friends and I are the makers of a web series called Rotbtd. You haven't heard of us?" The kid shook his head,"Excuse me for a minuet," and he ran upstairs.
Logan came barging into the room. Getting confused looks from his friends beside Kendall, whom was smirking while looking at something on the computer and didn't even seem to notice. Logan ran to the laptop on the counter and got a good look at what Kendall was looking at. He then shut the laptop closed with a slam. "Why the hell didn't you tell me?!" Kendall raised an eyebrow playfully,"I honestly, have no idea what your talking about Logan," Logan didn't buy his sarcastic innocence. "I'm talking about 'Rotbtd' Kendall. Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Cause I didn't have to," Kendall replied,"You figured it out your self and I have to say, it was entertaining." Logan rolled his eyes,"Everything I do is entertaining to you Kendall." "That's why I love you." Logan blushed as James pretended to vomit. "Oh! I almost forgot. James, there's a new girl down at the pool." Within a second James was in his swim trunks and was running down to the pool. (The others still didn't know how he was able to do that so fast)
Rapunzel was just enjoying herself. Kicking her feet in the water. Saying hi to other people from time to time, and keeping a close eye on pascal. Just then Hiccup came out with his laptop and sat down next to her. "Hey Punzie, I think you should see this," He said as he showed her the negative comments about their web series. "Well. This is," Rapunzel stuttered. "Shocking?" Hiccup questioned earning himself a nod from his friend.
James walked onto the pool deck in high spirits. Until he saw the new girl, talking to a new guy. James hid behind a tree and saw Camille walking from the pool. "Hey James," She said as he pulled her arm and pointed to the new girl,"Who is that?" Camille sighed,"That's Rapunzel, she just got here about fifteen minuets ago. And she's also part of a web series. She really fun to hang around with and really sweet." "Is she dating anyone?" James questioned concerning the boy who was with Rapunzel. Camille shook her head,"No. And the boy your referring to, is Hiccup. They're just friends cause I believe Hiccup's dating someone." James then smiled to himself. He was gonna make Rapunzel his; one way or another.
~ Next Day ~
"Jack Frost give me back my beanie!" Hiccup was getting pissed. He and Jack were supposed to go down to the lobby to meet up with the girls to go to Rock Records to see the one and the only Gustavo Rock. Yet, as usual, Jack was being a pain in the ass. Though, Jack did have a tendency to chuckle whenever Hiccup got mad. It was one of the reasons why Jack loved his 'Boyfriend'.
"Jack. Come on. We have to meet with Merida and Rapunzel in the lobby," Hiccup said as he crossed his arms in a pouting fashion. "I'm coming. I'm coming. Don't forget the camera," Jack said as he walked past the counter and opened the door. Hiccup rolled his eyes as Jack cuffed his arm as he kept the door open. "Shall we?" Jack questioned playfully as they interlocked their arms. And when they got down to the lobby the four teens headed their way to Rock Records.
Gustavo had called the guys into his office. James stood to Kendall's left, Logan on his right, (Secretly holding his hand I might add) And Carlos at Logan's right side. "Dogs," Gustavo said, it was a habit he had,"Today, your meeting four teens that are gonna help you in the next music video." Kendall smirked,"Cool. So where are they?" Kelly and Gustavo led the guys out into the hall, just in time to see four other teens enter the room.
"Guys, this is Rapunzel Corona, Merida Dun Broch, Jack Frost and Hiccup Haddock," Kelly said as she introduced the guys to a girl with long golden hair, (Which was braided) a girl with fire red curls, a boy with pure white spiked hair and another boy with auburn brunette mop like hair. James stared as he looked at Rapunzel, he remembered seeing her by the pool yesterday. She was just to beautiful for James to describe. Carlos' eyes widened as he saw Merida. Carlos was to interested in Merida's eyes to even pay attention to what Gustavo was saying about her and her friends.
Kendall, Logan, Jack and Hiccup all stared at one another. This was just to freaky. Jack's eyes trailed down to where Kendall was secretly holding Logan's hand from the others and mouthed a question to him,"Are you and Logan. Dating?" Kendall gave him a small nod as he mouthed Jack a question concerning him and Hiccup's situation. "Are you and Hiccup. Dating?" Jack smiled as he nodded. This wasn't freaky after all. That was when Gustavo spoke up.
"Right, since you all know each other now. Let Kelly and I explain what's gonna happen." They all walked into the choreography studio and Hiccup got out the video camera. "I read the comments on the web series 'Rotbtd'," Kelly started explaining,"And I thought that the only way for these four teens to get more good comments, was by adding some Big Time Rush." The guys started getting excited.
Jack started explaining what Rotbtd was all about. "Rotbtd stands for 'Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons', in the web series, my friends and I go places and record our time there. Last week we were in Europe and it was awesome. But, our viewers want us to do some filming in L.A before we head off to the old city of Constantinople. Anyway, we also had many celebrities like The Wanted, Victoria Justice, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, One Direction, Austin Mahone, Demi Lovato, and pretty much any celebrity you can think of. Hiccup does most of the recording, Merida, Rapunzel and I interview the celebs and we do funny stuff like some acting and what not and we all have fun doing it." The guys nodded.
Hiccup came up to Jack and pressed record on the camera. Jack, Rapunzel and Merida got beside the guys and Jack did the intro. "Let's get ready to fly! Welcome guys to this week's episode of ~ Rotbtd!" Hiccup chuckled. "Today, we're at the famous Rock Records in L.A California. And with us is the famous Big Time Rush!" Rapunzel said with a chuckled, which made James blush. "So, to start off," Jack smirked,"Let's play a little trivia game on BTR." They all sat down and Hiccup gave Jack the questions.
"First question, and the person whom is mentioned in the question can't answer. Carlos' fave food is what?" "Corn dogs," James answered. "How old is Katy Knight?" Rapunzel questioned eyeing Kendall. "Twelve," He answered with a smile. "What does Logan like to do in his free time?" "Read, hang by the pool, play video games, skate board, play hockey, and hang out at the park," Carlos answered. "How long can Kendall hold his breath?" "1 min and 48 secs," Logan answered. "Ok. Now maybe you guys can share with us a new song?" Rapunzel questioned giving the questions back to Hiccup.
"We'd be happy to," James said playfully. The boys then got into the recording both and Gustavo started the music. "Ready?" Gustavo questioned. The guys gave him a thumbs up.
The music then started.
Kendall ~ I promised I would be there. I swear I'm on my way. I know you may not hear me. But, that's the price I'll pay. For taking you for granted. Your the air I breath. I gave you everything but. The music stopped and the guys came out of the booth. "So. what did you guys think?" Kendall questioned as he crossed his arms. "Awesome!" Rapunzel cheered. "It was cool," Merida agreed. Jack and Hiccup nodded. Hiccup then said from behind the camera, "Anything else you guys wanna tell us before we sign off?" The guys nodded. "We all hoped that you viewers enjoyed. And we hope to star in another episode of Rotbtd soon," Kendall said as they all smiled. Hiccup then stopped the recording on the camera and went back to their hotel room to upload the episode.
As the others were starting to leave. James caught Rapunzel by the arm. "Hey, Rapunzel right?" Rapunzel nodded. "I'm James. That was pretty cool with the whole Rotbtd thing and all." "Thanks. That song you guys sang was amazing to," Rapunzel smiled. James chuckled, "Thanks."
Carlos also caught Merida by the arm. "Hey, your Merida right?" Merida nodded. "I'm Carlos. That was pretty amazing what you guys did with the whole web series thing." Merida smiled, "Thanks. The song was pretty spectacular as well." Carlos smiled, "Thanks."
Kendall and Logan caught up with Jack. "Hey Jack!" Logan called. "Yeah?" "How long have you and Hiccup been dating?" Kendall questioned, relating back to the moment before they shot the 'Rotbtd' episode. "Since middle school," Jack replied, "We kinda met by meeting up with Merida and Rapunzel at the movies one day and things. Kinda fell into place. What about you two?" Kendall and Logan looked at one another. "Since we started high school," Kendall replied, "I asked Logan to help me with some problems one day and we sorta-" "Kissed without anyone noticing," Logan cut in.
Jack smiled. Rapunzel then jumped on him from out of no where. "Jack! Guess what?!" "Can you get off me first?!" Jack choked. Rapunzel released Jack from their firm position. "Jamesaskedmeifwecouldgogetcoffeesometime!" "Whoa! Slow down." "James asked me if we could go get coffee some time. He asked me out!" "What did you say?" "YES!" Merida then walked up to them with Carlos by her side and a large smile on her face. "Can we stay in L.A longer?" She questioned. Everyone laughed. This was gonna be a great story to tell when they got back to Burgess. ~
