June 13th, 1902 ~

The sky gave a golden glow as many noblemen and women arrived in their carriages to the castle. "Mother," A young prince said as he leaned his head on his hand and looked out the window,"Is this truly necessary?" The boy's mother huffed and sat up straight again. "Yes Jack," She answered,"This is the prince's 15th birthday and his father has invited all the noblemen and women to attend." She took a breath then continued,"Besides, I do believe that you both shall find suitable fiancés this evening."

Jack could've cared less. He didn't feel comfortable during these parties and celebrations. He'd rather be riding on his horse, Winter, far across the meadows of Arendelle. He'd pick that then parties and senseless occasions any day. Yet, what he didn't expect, was that the crown prince of Berk, had the same hopes that he did.

Mean While ~

"Dad," A young man said as he stood in his room, maids helping him dress for the evening celebration,"This is silly. Why go through all this trouble?" "Because Hamish," The king answered,"This is your 15th birthday and this is the night you pick your fiancé." The prince stood there. Then shooed the maids away. He turned to look at his father with an expression that was mixed with confusion, anger, and fear. "Pick a bride?" He questioned, his voice had gone shaky and shallow,"Why?"

"Because," The King replied,"You're going to be crowned King, and every King needs a Queen to support him." Hamish gaped at him. "Hasn't it occurred to you and mother, that I don't want to be King?" He questioned, infuriated. The King gave him a glare,"Doesn't matter. You are our only son. That makes you the only heir." Hamish rolled his eyes and turned back to the mirror that stood in front of him. "It is your destiny Hiccup," The King huffed, he then turned and left the room.

Hamish said nothing as the door closed behind his father. Tears had welled into his eyes and were streaming down his cheeks. "But I don't want this," He whispered to himself, his voice carrying through the room,"I can't do this." His Jet black Night Fury, Toothless, flew onto his shoulder and nuzzled into the prince's neck, giving a soft purr. Hamish placed a hand onto the dragon, rubbing his ebony scales gently. "What am I gonna do Toothless?" He questioned to the reptile, whom looked back at him with acid green eyes. Since the dragon didn't speak, Hamish gave him a sad smile. He then placed the reptile on his bed and left the room to greet the guests.

Later ~

"There's my baby," The Queen said as she ruffled Hamish's hair. Hamish groaned,"Mother!" The queen gave him a soft chuckle. Then two people walked up to them. They both wore blue. Though, the woman wore more light blue then the man did. The boy looked no older then 17, with 18 being Hamish's next guess.

"Queen Elsa!" Hamish's mother cheered,"It's so lovely to see you!" Elsa smiled,"Thank you Valka, it has been a while." Hamish looked over at the boy standing next to her, his hair was a shocking shade of white. 'Pure as snow,' He thought. The boy's skin was extremely pale, almost white. His eyes were a stunning shade of blue. It was almost as if they were an ice blue mixed with navy.

"This is my son," Elsa said, referring to the boy whom Hamish apparently couldn't keep his eyes off of,"Crown Prince Jack Frost of Arendelle." 'The name suits him,' Hamish thought as he felt a smile crawl onto his cheeks. "Pleasure to meet you Jack," Valka said, smiling warmly at the young prince,"This is my son, Crown Prince Hamish Henry Haddock of Berk." Hamish bowed respectfully. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintances," he said standing back up straight. Jack gave Hamish a small smile. He then went back to the other side of the room with Elsa.

Hamish found himself utterly exhausted as he walked outside the ballroom into the cool air. He had danced with at least 30 noble women that evening. Most being Princesses and archduchesses from grand countries like England, France, Russia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Scotland, Wales, and just to many countries for him to care about.

He looked up at the moon and smiled. The cool air wrapping it's arms around him and embracing him. It was getting to hot and stuffy in the room anyway. He then looked down and gasped as he saw Jack sitting on a stone bench by himself. He knew more then to see the guests displeased, so he walked down the steps leading to the gardens to see if the young prince was ok.

"You alright?" he questioned, startling the other prince. "P-Prince Hamish," Jack stuttered, bowing respectfully. Hamish chuckled,"Please, there's no need for you to be nervous." Jack sighed,"Thank you." The two then sat down. "You enjoying the party?" Hamish questioned. "Yes, your majesty," Jack answered. Hamish chuckled again. "Call me Hiccup," He said.

"I saw you dancing with those women," Jack said as he looked up at the moon. "Really?" Hiccup questioned,"Was I that bad?" "No," Jack answered,"It was the women." Hiccup snorted. "It looked like they were purposely trying to step on your feet," Jack teased. "What would you rather be doing right now, Jack?" Hiccup questioned next. Jack looked at him with a confused glance, then sighed.

"I rather be riding across the meadows we have back home," He replied,"What about you?" Hiccup blushed,"It's stupid." Jack scoffed,"It can't be that embarrassing." Hiccup took a deep breath and sighed. "I'd rather be dancing my life away," He said,"No rules, responsibilities, regulations, just dancing." "Then why don't you?" Jack questioned.

Hiccup shook his head,"Because the way I wish to dance is not proper for a prince." Jack sat and thought for a second. Then an Idea came to his head. "Why don't you come to Arendelle with me?" He suggested. Hiccup looked at him, wide eyed. "And how would that work?" He questioned. "Your mother seems understandable," Jack answered,"Does she know about the way you dance?" Hiccup nodded.

"Then asking her if you could come, shouldn't be a problem," Jack reasoned. Hiccup smiled,"That's a splendid idea Jack," His smile then faded,"It's my dad that's the problem." Jack frowned. "I'll talk to him," A voice said, making both princes jump. Elsa and Valka stood a couple feet away from their sons. "Mother," Hiccup said, standing up and walking over to Valka,"I-" "You can go," She said simply.

Hiccup's jaw dropped. "I talked everything out with Elsa," Valka explained,"You can go." "But what about you and dad?" Hiccup questioned,"I'm supposed to be King." Valka chuckled and shook her head,"Once I tell your father my exciting news, You won't have to worry about that." "Why is that?" Jack questioned. Valka smiled,"I'm pregnant."

March 26th, 1917 ~
(15 years later)

"You ready?" Jack questioned to his husband as they met in the hall. Hiccup smiled,"Yep, let's go." The two then went out to the front of the castle and entered the main carriage. Their destination: Berk. Hiccup sighed as he looked out the window. It had been fifteen years since he'd been home. He wondered if His mother would even recognize him after all these years.

Once they got to the palace, Hiccup was tackled by a pair of arms. "It's been forever!" A feminine voice chirped, Queen Valka. "Mother," Hiccup whined as he politely removed the woman's arms from his shoulders. "Don't give me that attitude," She scolded,"I was to excited when I received the letter from you that said you were coming to visit, I had the advantage to send invitations all over Europe."

Hiccup's mouth dropped,"Mother!" She giggled,"Now look, it'll be fine. Your father and I took to consideration of having you dance. Non of the ballroom dancing with pairs and all." Hiccup smiled,"Thank you." Valka's face then lit up,"Oh! You must meet you're little brother!" She said,"He looks just like you when you were his age! Harold!" A young boy then came into the room.

Jack's eyes widened, they did look similar. Hiccup chuckled,"You named him after grandfather?" Valka nodded. "So," The younger boy said, staring at Hiccup dead in the eyes,"You're the co-King of Arendelle?" "And your older brother," Hiccup answered, giving him a smirk. Harold frowned.

Later ~

"You Nervous?" Jack questioned as he stood by Hiccup as the party had begun. "Not as long as you're here," Hiccup answered as he gave Jack a quick kiss. The crowd clapped their hands as Hiccup then walked up to the platform in the middle of the room. The room died down to silence as he stood on the platform. He sent Jack a wink, then started dancing.

The crowd was amazed with the flexibility of the King. It was almost as if he was born into his movements. Jack smiled from where he stood. They both had gotten what they wanted. He had gotten to ride all over Arendelle with nothing but the wind under him, the sun on his face, and Hiccup by his side. Hiccup also got what he wanted. He was able to dance his cares away. And he couldn't have been happier.

And as far as they both knew
