Jack walked into the kitchen, seeing his fiancé over the stove made him smile. Seeing the tear stains on said fiancé's face made him frown. He walked behind the other male and gently wrapped his arms around the older male's waist.
"What's up, Jack?" The older male questioned, paying close attention on the food he was preparing for dinner. "Whatcha making?" Jack questioned as he looked over his fiancé's shoulder. "Salmon," The other answered,"You need something?" Jack nuzzled his face into the auburn haired adult's neck. The scent of pine needles and thin air entered the his nose.
"I want you to sing to me, Hiccup," He said, answering the other male's question. Hiccup sighed,"Let me put this in the oven first." Jack obliged and went into the living room as Hiccup slid the raw fish into the oven. Hiccup then went into the living room, sat on the couch and took the white haired adult into his arms.
"I'll swim and sail on, savage seas. With ne'er a fear of drowning. And gladly ride the waves of life, if you'll marry me," Hiccup sang, still holding onto the other in his arms,"No scorching sun. Nor freezing cold. Will stop me on my journey. If you will, promise, me your, heart. And love..." He stopped as he felt tears swell into his eyes. He gave out a shaky sigh as he began to cry lightly onto Jack's shoulder.
Jack gave him a small smile and continued the song. "And love me for eternity." Hiccup looked at him and smiled. Jack gave him a small chuckle and wiped away the tears from his emerald eyes. He then continued singing as he got off the couch,"My dearest one, my darling dear, your mighty words astound me. But I've no need of mighty deeds, when I feel your arms around me."
Hiccup laughed lightly and they started dancing. "But I will bring you rings of gold, and even sing you poetry, And I will keep you from all harm. If you would stay beside me." "I have no use for rings of gold, I care not for your poetry. I only want your hand to hold." "I only want you near me." "To love, to kiss, to sweetly hold. For the dancing and the dreaming. Through all life's sorrows and delights, I'll keep you're heart beside me. I'll swim and sail on savage seas, ne'er a fear of drowning. And gladly ride the waves of life, if you will marry me!"
They laughed as Hiccup lifted Jack up into the air and spun him around, bringing him back down into a kiss. They then giggled lightly to each other, until~
"The salmon!" Hiccup said, rushing into the kitchen to pull a slightly over-cooked fish from the oven. Jack smiled as he watched Hiccup cut the well prepared meal and put pieces of it on the plates that were out on the counter next to him. Jack then took the plates from the counter and placed them on the table. Hiccup coming in behind with two glasses of diet pepsi.
They smiled to each other as they ate. Hiccup giving Jack a one sided smirk. "What?" The white haired male questioned, wiping his mouth with his napkin. "Nothing," Hiccup answered. Jack gave him a small glare and smirked,"Sure."
Hiccup chuckled,"I love you, Snowflake."
Jack smiled,"I love you to, Dragon Trainer."
