AN: This was a prompt given by Paoshirou Hozomi. She said that she was stuck in a storm and gave that to me as a prompt. SO~ I came up with this wee devil. Enjoy and review! ~

Jack sat on the couch as he randomly flipped through TV channels. It was raining outside and the weather man said that there would be really bad lighting. Jack didn't really care about the news, so he didn't really pay much attention when Hiccup told him what it said.

Speaking of the freckled teen, he went out shopping to get some food and other stuff in case the power went out. 'Which it hasn't,' Jack thought as he still flipped through random channels to find something to watch,'gods! It's SO boring with nothing to do!' Just then, Hiccup came in through the garage.

"I'm home!" He said, hearing Jack launch off the couch and run up to him like a puppy waiting for his owner to return. "Finally you're back!" He cheered. "I was only gone for an hour," Hiccup said, noting that it was 8:30 in the afternoon. "It was an extremely LOOOOOOOOOOOONG hour," Jack complained. Hiccup rolled his eyes.

There was a blare from the TV and it went black. Along with the rest of the house. "Great," Jack muttered. Hiccup chuckled and pulled out a pack of candles. "Could you get the lighter from the mantel, please Jack?" He questioned as he took the small candles out one by one. Jack nodded and went into the living room, only to come back into the kitchen with the blue candle lighter.

"Thank you," Hiccup said, beginning to light the candles. Jack sighed as he leaned against the counter. "How many candles did you get?" He questioned as he noticed five more packets of candles. "We said that we would make that cover music video, remember?" "What music video?" "The one for "Thousand Years," By Cristina Perri," Hiccup answered. Jack nodded and went to open the other packets of candles.

"Ready?" Hiccup questioned as he held up his video camera. Jack nodded. "Action!" Hiccup said, pressing the record button on his camera. The two had spent three months listening to the song, both with Christina Perri singing and the instrumental. And Hiccup had to admit, Jack had gotten really good with hitting the right notes and singing at the right time with the instrumental.

"Heart beats fast, Colors and promises," Jack sang, sending Hiccup a smile.

"How to be brave?
How can I love when I'm afraid, to fall?
But watching you stand alone,
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.

One step closer...

I have died every day waiting for you.
Darling, don't be afraid I have loved you.
For a thousand years,
I'll love you for a thousand more~

Time stands still.
Beauty in all he is.
I will be brave,
I will not let anything,
Take away,
What's standing in front,
of me.
Every breath,
Every hour,
Has come to this.

One step closer...

I have died every day waiting for you.
Darling, don't be afraid I have loved you.
For a thousand years,
I'll love you for a thousand more.

And all along I believed I would find you,
Time has brought your heart to me,
I have loved you for a thousand years,
I'll love you for a thousand more~
One step closer...

One step closer...

I have died every day waiting for you.
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you.
For a thousand years,
I'll love you for a thousand more ~

Jack chuckled as he blew out the candle that he held in his hands. Hiccup smiled as he pressed stopped the recording. And as he did, the lights came back on. "Looks like the storms lifting a bit," He said, walking into the kitchen to blow out the candles. "No!" Jack said. Hiccup gave him a confused look. "I like the candles," Jack explained,"It's romantic."

Hiccup smiled. He then went around the house and turned off all the lights. "I still need to edit this and put it on YouTube though," He said, referring to their video. Jack nodded,"That's fine." He sighed as he rested his head on his arms. 'That was fun,' He thought as he watched the little candle burn.

The next thing he knew, was that he was waking up on the couch. "What happened?" He questioned to Hiccup whom sat near him and smiled. "You dosed off," He explained, I saw you sleeping as you were standing in the kitchen and the candles was still burning. I didn't want you to accidently get burned, so I picked you and put you on the couch." Jack swooned playfully,"You're SO manly Hiccup. How can I ever thank you?" Hiccup chuckled.

"Dinner's ready by the way, Your Majesty," He teased. "What are we having?" Jack questioned as he sat up. "Hamburger helper," Hiccup answered,"The stroganoff." Jack smiled,"Sounds great."
