AN: I was in a bad mood last night for some really weird reason and I couldn't sleep. SO~ Here I have come up with a sad one-shot. The song is called 'Everybody's Fool' By Evanescence. Enjoy and review if u want to! ~
Hiccup looked at the screen of his TV. Watching the commercial with a keen eye. "Freshen up your world with-", He sighed as he turned off the TV. He couldn't take it anymore. Jack had been away for to long. Selling his worthless products that made HIS wealth and fame grow.
Hiccup was famous for his singing, but had writers block for the last five months. Same amount of time that Jack had manage to make everyone believe that his products were worth buying. And It was driving Hiccup insane.
'Perfect, by nature.
Icons of self-indulgence.
Just what we all need,
More lies about a world that...
...never was and never will be.

It seemed like Jack had all the time in the world for reporters, journalists, and paparazzi. And he had no time for Hiccup like when they were younger. But that was just it. They were young. Living in their careless fantasies. They weren't prepared when reality split them apart
'You know you've got everybody fooled.'
He found pictures of him and Jack before their tragedy struck. They were hopeful, rebellious, sensitive and young. They didn't know what awaited them. Hiccup gripped one of the framed pictures in his hands, tears pouring from his eyes and down his face.
'Look, here she comes now.
Bow down and stare in wonder.

No flaws when you're pretending.

Hiccup threw the picture at the wall. The glass shattered onto the floor. 'I should've known this would happen,' He thought,'I should've known, that I couldn't hold onto him. But I was to weak.'

Hiccup sat up in his bathtub. Thoughts of shame and regret running through his head. Knowing that he would never get his best friend back, was his greatest unhappiness. He got out of the tub and dried off. He came back into the bathroom a few minuets after getting changed. He looked at himself in the mirror, not liking what he saw. So, he smashed the mirror with his fist. Cutting himself with the glass as it broke.
'I know the truth now,
I know who you are,
And I don't love you anymore.
It never was and never will be.

The last thing Hiccup did, was delete Jack's number from His cell phone.
Jack didn't need him anyways.
