AN: Pretty self explanatory. The song is called,'Waiting for Superman' by Daughtry. Enjoy and review if you want! ~
Hiccup got out of the taxi and stepped onto the sidewalk. He watched as the car drove away from the curve.
'She's watching the taxi driver, He pulls away.'
He sighs as he walks through the door to his apartment that he shared with his best friend Noah Nighingale.
'She's been, locked up inside her apartment a hundred days.'
"It's 8:30, Hiccup," Noah said,"He's not coming." "He'll be here, Toothless," Hiccup said. "Are u sure?" Noah questioned.
'She said,"Yeah he's still coming, just a little bit late. He got stuck at the luandromate, washing his cape".'
Noah rolled his eyes,"U & u'r fantasies, Hiccup." Hiccup glared at him and went to his room. He decided to retire for the night.
'She's just. Watching the clouds roll by & they spell her name. Like Lois Lane & she smiles.'
Hiccup smiled as he began to dream about a man with snow white hair, icy blue eyes, pale skin, & cold lips.
'Oh, the way she smiles.'
3 months go by & Hiccup can't get the boy out of his dreams. Toothless starts to believe that he's gone insane.
'She's talking to angels. Counting the stars. Making a wish on a passing car. She's dancing with strangers, falling apart. Waiting for Superman to pick her up. In his a~rms.'
Hiccup began spinning around in his room. An image of his 'dream boy' in his head.
'In his a~rms, yeah. She's waiting for Superman.'
Hiccup stood at the corner of Time Square Blvd and Main street. Just searching for a peak of this boy he's been thinking about for almost 5 months.
'She's out on the corner, trying to catch a glimpse. Nothing's making sense. She's been, chasing an answer sign , lost in the abyss. This metropolis.'
"It's late, Hiccup," Noah said,"When are u gonna give up?" "Not till I find him, Noah," Hiccup answered.
'She says,"Yeah he's still coming, just a little bit late. He got stuck at the 5 'n Dine, saving the day." She says,"If life was a movie, then it wouldn't end like this. Left without a kiss".'
Noah groaned as he left the room. Hiccup began to cry and left the apartment. Running all the way to the park. He stopped though as he stood on the side walk in the pouring rain.
'Still she smiles.'
He then began to laugh hysterically to himself, continuing in running. Thinking about all the things he did over these past few months.
'Oh the way she smiles. She's talking to angels. Counting the stars. Making a wish on a passing car. She's dancing with strangers. Falling apart. Waiting for Superman to pick her up, in his a~rms! In his a~rms yeah. She's waiting for Superman. To pick her up, and take her anywhere. To show her love, flying through the air. Saw her now, before it's to late tonight. Oh~ At the speed of light.'
Hiccup slipped and tripped of a crack in the sidewalk. His face ready to hit the pavement. But he stops falling, feeling a grip on his arm.
'And she smiles. She's talking to angels. Counting the stars. Making a wish on a passing car. She's dancing with strangers. Falling apart! Waiting for Superman to pick her up, in his a~rms yeah! Oh, In his a~rms, yeah! She's waiting for Superman. To pick her up. And take her anywhere! Show her love, oh~ flying through the air! Save her now. Before it's to late tonight!'
Hiccup looked at his savior, it was a boy with snow white hair, pale skin, And icy crystal blue eyes. "You ok?" He questioned. Hiccup nodded,"Yea. Thanks." "No problem," The man said, helping Hiccup back onto his feet. The man then reached out his hand,"I'm Jack." Hiccup took his hand and shook it.
"Hiccup." Jack smiled,"Why don't I take u out to dinner some time?" "That sounds nice," Hiccup said,"When?" "I'll pick u up at u'r place," Jack said,"Tomorrow, 7:30?" Hiccup nodded. "Cool," Jack said, kissing Hiccup's cheek lightly,"See ya then." He then continued walking.
Hiccup felt a slight blush crawl onto his cheek and a smile found it's way to his lips. He turned and ran home, knowing he found his's superman.
'She's waiting for Superman.' ~
