Yo, COD is now back with another chapter. This one was posted early because of the fact that I took forever on the last one. Hopefully this will make up for it. Anyways, no true intro to this one. Just...enjoy, I guess.

I know the nightmare Suzuka kept having should have gotten to me, but it din't. In fact, I was actually calm about it. It's been a week since then, and the thought of it being serious never occured to me.

Suzuka on the other hand, told every one of our friends. They were all worried. Even now, they won't stop asking if I'm okay and to take it seriously. I normally just ignore them though.

Normally.

This time though, it got to me. Suzuka walked up to me and asked me if I was okay today, and the look in her eyes frightened me. She was freaked out by something she noticed. She said that there was a scene that she saw in her nightmare, and flipped.

Now, I know what you guys are thinking. 'Oh, it's just a coincidence' or something. But, nope, cause then she explained how there would be a fight in the hallway and who would win.

And, guess what, it totally did. I decided then and there that running would be nice. And now to the present. I'm in my apartment, sitting on my bed, reading. Haha, reading, funny. I hate reading. (I apologize if I'm missing something and he does like reading, but I thought it fit if I said that)

There was a loud thud outside my door. I opened it, and Honoka was out there, sitting and rubbing her knee. She must have fell. "Hey, Yamato. I ran all the way here."

"Why? Is something wrong?" She didn't respond, just motioned for me to follow her.

We walked for about 20 minutes till we finally stopped at a weird house. It wasn't like an abandoned house or haunted house or something, but it did have it's own sence of creepyness to it. 'Baby' I thought to myself for being scared.

"Hey, Honoka, why did you bring me-" I looked over and saw her running away. "Hey! The hell!?" I was gonna run after her when I heard a door opening. I looked at the house and saw Suzuka standing in the doorway.

"Come on in, Yamato." As told, I walked to the house. There was something off about her though. She wasn't scared as she has been for the last week. She was calm and easygoing, like nothing was ever wrong.

"Suzuka, can I ask you something?" She looked at me, nodded, then turned back to where she was headed. "Um, why are you all of a sudden calm?"

She stopped, stiff as a board. "Why, whatever do you mean?" She asked. I pointed out how lately she's been nothing but worried and now she was completely calm.

She smiled. Normally I'd love her smile, but at that moment, it told me 'Run. Run now for there's something wrong' But what do you know, I didn't. I kept on following her. Bam. I was hit in the head but Yasunobu. When he noticed I was still standing and conscious, he ran away.

"Damn it, Yasunobu! You messed it up!" Suzuka shouted.

I was a little angry now. "What do you mean 'You messed it up'!?" I yelled. Once I noticed my voice was raised, I calmed down. "Were you expecing and wanting him to hit me or something?"

She nodded. "The dream, the fight, everything. It was all to scare you. Even this house. If Yasunobu actually knocked you out, we were gonna act all demonic and pretend to try to kill you."

"Why?" I asked, utterly confused. "Why would you wanna go to this length to scare me?"

"Your cockyness." I stood there, even more confused than before. "I see you don't understand. Remember the night before I told you about the dream? How you said nothing we could do could scare you? You doubted we had the intellegence to come up with something to scare you. Well, this was our attempt to prove you wrong."

It took a while for that to sink in. Once it finally did, which was about 5 minutes later, I shook my head. "So when did hitting me in the head become a good idea for your plan?"

"That was just something we came up with to punish you for your insult. At the time it seemed like a good idea. But thinking back, we were all driven by anger."

"Well, whatever. I just wanna go home and lay down. That hit didn't knock me out, but it sure as hell did make me dizzy." She nodded, put my arm around her shoulders to make sure I wouldn't fall, and walked with my back to the apartment building."

Horrible, I know, but I tried. I'm not really good at the 'scaring people' planning attemps. So it was out of my confort zone. I'm more of a 'romantic' type of writer, and even that I fail at. DON'T YELL AT ME PLEASE! Any-who, see ya.
