Chapter 44
King Under the Mountain and New Friends

Its been a month since Erebor was rebuilt along with Dale and Laketown. I see Bard and his children when they come to visit. Tilda seemed attached to me, which was fine with me. It gave me practice for my baby that I was carrying even if Tilda was not a baby.

The caravan of Dwarves from the Blue Mountain arrived two days before Thorin would be crowned King and I was busy with Ori in the library, trying to get all the books and scrolls cleaned and organized. Ori was excited to be an uncle. Dori was nervous, but I knew he was excited. Nori was scared, nervous, and excited about being a dad. I knew he would make a good father.

The day of the crowning. I sat brushing out my long blonde hair as I sat at my dressing table. I was in a purple dress that was long-sleeved. I had the elven band on my forehead, marking me elvish royal. My marriage braid hung proudly in place. Winter laid near the dresser. I saw her head pick up as the door opened. I saw Nori standing in the doorway. I stood up and brushed down my dress. My stomach was starting to show slightly.

"Is it too much?" I ask, looking down. Nori took my chin, gently in his hands and made me look at him.

"No. You look beautiful, love. You always do." Nori said. I smiled up at him and he leaned down and we shared a kiss. Nori led me out of the room and towards the throne room. Winter was walking ahead of us as I held Nori's arm as we walked. The Company with Thorin, Fili, and Kili stood waiting. Everyone was dressed in good clothes.

"Oh, Ella. You look beautiful." Bilbo said.

"Thank you Bilbo." I said as the other dwarves agreed. Nori smiled at me and I returned the smile. The dwarves got ready and I stood next to Nori with my arm through his. I closed my eyes and sighed happily. Nori squeezed my hand gently and I open my eyes in time to see the doors open. We step through as Thorin, Fili, and Kili led us into the throne room.

Rows of dwarves were standing before us and Gandalf was standing at the end by the largest throne. I walked with Nori as we head up to Gandalf. The Company stood in a line by the steps to the throne. I stood in between Nori and Ori as we faced the dwarves. I saw Arwen, Elrond, and my parents standing with the elves of Mirkwood. Bard and his family were with the men of Dale and Laketown. We watched as Thorin knelt in front of Gandalf.

"All hail Thorin, Son of Thrain, Son of Thror. King Under the Mountain" Gandalf said. He said something to Thorin, but I didn't pay attention. Thorin stood up and turned to face the crowd. The Company and I stood facing Thorin yet.

"Saving Erebor was my doing and others. Others I became close friends with over the quest to reclaim our homeland. The company of sixteen. 13 dwarves, an elf, a hobbit, and a wizard. Slaying of Smaug was not by our hands but a new friend, the new King of Dale, Bard, who slayed the beast with the last Black Arrow that was ever made. I am happy to announce that Erebor will have peace again with Dale and Laketown and a new peace with the elves of Mirkwood. I am proud to announce that two of my company members are married. Estella or Ella, Daughter of Galadriel, Lady of Light, and Nori, Son of Zori, married before the quest ended and are expecting their first child. The first child that will be born in Erebor since Smaug took over. Her friends and family are always welcomed here in Erebor. Let us feast and enjoy the rest of the night." Thorin said. At his words about Nori's and my marriage. Dwarves were frowning as if they hated the idea of a dwarf and an elf marrying. I moved closer to Nori for comfort.

"Don't worry. We got friends that support us all the way." Nori whispered, kissing my temple.

"I hope so." I whisper.

The feast. I stood with Arwen talking as the dwarves ate and drank. Arwen and I already ate and were full and I didn't want to drink with me being pregnant. All the dwarf women that were introduced to me either had a fake smile on their face or held hate in their eyes as they stuck their noses up in the air and left after saying hello.

"How am I suppose to live here in peace when all the women and the men seem to hate me." I said, watching as Bofur and Dwalin started singing while drunk.

"Give them time, Aunt Ella. You got friends and the King that will stand behind you and I'm sure you'll get them to warm up to you eventually. Give it time." Arwen said. Two women that I haven't met came over.

"Ella. It's wonderful to finally meet you. I'm Dis, Thorin's sister." Dis said. I smile.

"It's an honor to finally meet you Lady Dis. Fili and Kili have talked about you so much." I said.

"Please. Just call me Dis and I hope good things." Dis said.

"Yes they have." I said.

"I'm Nora, Gloin's wife. We were hoping that we saw no one seemed to like you that you could have friends that you can shop with and do women stuff instead of being surrounded by men." Nora said.

"I would appreciate it. Thank you." I said. I introduced them to Arwen and they took a liking to her right away. I don't how long I have been talking to them when I felt arms wrap around me from behind and a kiss press to my neck came.

"Ready to head to the chambers. You look like your going to fall asleep any minute." Nori said.

"Nori. We are so glad you found someone to settle down with. She's a good woman." Dis said.

"Thank you Dis. I am very happy. Ready, beautiful?" Nori asked.

"I am. Catch you girls around?" I ask. Nora and Dis bid me goodnight as Nori led me out, but we were stopped by King Thranduil. Nori wrapped his arm tighter around my waist.

"Stop. I'm not going to lay a hand on your wife like I did before. I come to apologize. I was wrong to call you both liars and treat your wife like I did. I hope you would accept my apologize." Thranduil said.

"Yes. Just please treat us more nicely and we'll return the favor." I said. Thranduil nodded and let us pass.

An hour later. Nori and I laid entwined in each others arms as our clothes laid spread out on the floor. Nori trailed his hand up my back as I rested my head on his chest.

"Now we can start our future." Nori said, pressing a kiss to my check.

"Yes. I just hope I can win over all the dwarves or at least try to." I said.

"I'm sure you will love. You got friends and the King behind you with support. They won't stop us from being happy. Now get some rest." Nori said. I kissed his check and laid my head back on his chest. I fell asleep to him humming a tune.

AN: There's the new chapter. Trying to figure out what to do. If something should happen with the dwarves and Ella or something before I do my other ideas before the birth of their child. I am taking ideas. By the way. The picture for my story picture is what Ella looks like. I created it just awhile ago. She's perfect and purple because it's the color the Ri brothers wear in the movies. I'll update soon.
