AN: Terra walks through the woods and wishes for children of her own. Seasonal!Big Four. HiJack and Meripunzel. I made up the four songs. The fifth song is from the 2007 TV series Tin Man. I just changed Princesses to Princes
Seraphine, or Terra Nature, walked slowly through the woods just outside her castle. White, black, and red roses blooming where ever she stepped. The grass growing a bit taller around them. The midnight moon shined brightly, signaling the arrival of MiM, whom was an old friend of hers. She smiled as she saw the man. "Terra," He said, smiling at her and bowing.
Terra chuckled and bowed to the protector of children. "Manny," She said,"What brings you to my side of the childhood universe. DidHEcomeback?!Iseverythingalright!?IsthePoleindanger?" "Slow down, child," Manny answered,"Everything is fine." Terra sighed with relief. "Then why is it that you visit?" She questioned, removing her cloak hood from her head. "I'm here to help you," Manny answered,"I have heard your wish for children and I will bless you so that you are able to give birth." "Oh Manny," Terra said, tears of happiness swelling into her eyes,"Thank you so much!"
"You must listen though, child," Manny said. Terra nodded,"What is it?" "You will have four children," Manny explained,"The seasons shall come to you. Though, out of order." "How so?" Terra questioned,"What order shall they come?" "Autumn, shall be your eldest son," Manny answered,"Behind him, his fierce sister Summer and gently sister Spring. Then his younger and more rebellious brother Winter." Terra nodded,"How am I to have these children?"
"Listen, child," Manny answered,"Sing to yourself four songs, one for each season. The first, one of Dragons and Vikings. Sing this song to yourself, 20 times for two weeks. For your 1st child shall be two when Spring is born. The next song, one of wisps and warriors. Sing this to yourself, 19 times for three weeks. For your 2nd born shall be three when winter is born. The third song, one of the art and healing. Sing this to yourself 18 times for two week. For your 3rd child shall be two when winter is born. Then the last song, one of snow, ice and of me. Sing it 16 times for one week. Once you have all four children, sing one last song to them."
Terra nodded,"Of course, Manny." "I shall come to check up on you," Manny said,"I must go and tell North and the other guardians." "Wait!" Terra called. "Yes, Child?" Manny said. "What are to be the names of these children?" Terra questioned. Manny smiled. "Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III, Protector of dragons and King of Autumn. Merida Dun Broch, Mother of the wisps and Queen of Summer. Rapunzel Corona, Keeper of the Healing flower and Queen of Spring. Jack Frost, Guardian of fun and King of Winter." Terra smiled. Manny then left from the woman's presence.
Once Seraphine returned to her castle, she locked her self away. Doing exactly what Manny had told her to do if she wanted her first child. She sat by her fire for hours. Singing to herself as she was told. "Child, dear child. See your mother fly," She sang,"On the backs of Dragons, fleeing from the Vikings sword. Your heart the Viking. Your soul the reptilian beast. And I will still love you non the least. A fierce warrior, you shall become. Fighting till the war has been won. The Winter, your prince, friend and lover. And into the abyss of your forbidden risks you shall cater. Your sister, in loss, shall weep. Yet, you shall return to seek, and take your golden autumn throne."
Terra sang that song to herself everyday. Some days, more then once. She kept quiet about the reason why till it was time for her to receive her first child. She had gathered with everyone else at the pole. Then a dragon and a boy entered the pole.
The boy was tall, as tall as Bunnymund. He had Auburn brunette hair, his eyes and emerald green. He smiled as he came up to Seraphine. The dragon close behind. "My son," Terra said, holding her arms out. As the boy hugged her, she whispered to him. "What is your name, my son?" She questioned. "Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III," the boy answered,"I'm happy to see you, mother."
A Year Later ~
Seraphine sat on her couch, a book in her hands, Hiccup's head placed on her lap. "Mother," he said. "Yes, dearest Autumn?" She questioned, looking down at her son. "I want a sister," Hiccup answered, looking at the ceiling, and drawing a bow in the air with his finger,"It gets lonely a bit sometimes and I just..." "Shh," Terra said, running her fingers through the boy's hair,"No worries, dearest Autumn. You shall have a sister within three weeks."
Hiccup smiled at her. "It's late," She then said,"Perhaps it's best that you get your sleep. Your season is only a year old." "I know, mother," Hiccup said, getting his head off of Terra's lap and standing up from the couch,"See you in the morning." "Good night, beloved Autumn," Terra said as Hiccup left her room. She closed her book and sighed.
"A dim lit blue, shines for you," She sang,"Shining your way to me. The warrior explores the depths, of his mistress's boundaries. The soft call, the willow o' the wisps. Just like their mother, the hunting temptress. Her mother, nature. Her brother, the Autumn. Such rivals for their siblings the Spring and Winter. He powers over you, for he is your brother. But you overcome as your own master. Summer my child, forgive me so. My apologies earn you a bow. You are my child. Your temper be mild yet faulty. And you shall lead Spring into an era of beauty. And join beside the Autumn upon your throne of bronze."
Seraphine sang that to herself for three weeks. More then once on some. She kept smiling to herself when Hiccup wasn't looking. When her son questioned about why they were going to the Pole three weeks later, She told him that he would be getting his sister. So Hiccup smiled as he stood next to Terra, awaiting the arrival of his new sibling.
Then, someone came in. A cloak over their face, a bow over their left shoulder, their dress brushing- wait. DRESS?! The person came closer and removed their cloak from their face. It was a girl. Her hair a large mess of fire red curls which began to burn like fire. Seraphine walked up to the girl an touched her cheek gently. The curls cooled instantly and the girl hugged Seraphine.
"My Daughter," Terra said,"Welcome." The girl smiled and looked towards Hiccup. He walked down and stood in front of the girl. "Hi," he said,"I'm Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III, Protector of Dragons and King of Autumn." The girl took Hiccup's outstretched hand and shook it. "Merida Dun Broch," She said,"Mother of the Willow o' the Wisps and Queen of Summer." Their hands dropped. "It's good to see you brother," Merida then turned to Terra,"Mother."
A Year Later ~
Merida could be seen sitting on the floor next to Hiccup. The queen of Summer was etching onto her bow as the king of Autumn rubbed the scales of his nightfury. "Mum," said the red head lass. "Yes, fiercest Summer?" Terra answered. "Hiccup and I want anoth'r brother or sister," Merida said. Terra smiled.
"Very well," She said,"You two shall have a sister." Merida and Hiccup smiled with excitement. "It's late though," Terra said,"Time for little seasons to go to bed." "MooooooooM~" Hiccup whined. "No complaints from you Autumn king," Seraphine told him,"To bed, both of you." "Yes Mum," Merida said, standing up. "Alright," Hiccup said, standing up as well. The two siblings then left the room.
Terra sighed as she sat down. 'Two down,' She thought,'Two to go.' She then cleared her throat. "The cherry blossoms fall to the ground," She sang,"Flowers bloom all around. Winter had left so he could sleep. He is woken up by Autumn. Spring woken by Winter and Summer woken by Spring. Brother waking sister. Lover waking Lover. Spring heals the wounds of Winter. She paints a beautiful canvas of yellow and white. Adding greens, blues, purples, pinks, reds, even oranges. She'll paint a rainbow that will shelter, heal, and protect your lover, brother and your brother's lover. And then you shall join them on your throne of gold."
Terra then smiled as she put the fire out and went to bed. Knowing that this was to be her third child. She couldn't have been more excited. She held a smile to her face for the next three weeks as she sang the song to herself. It also made Merida and Hiccup happy when she told them that they would receive their new sibling that afternoon.
The three of them stood there in the room at the Pole. Then a girl with extremely long blonde hair entered the room. Her eyes were a grassy green and a small chameleon was on her shoulder. A few paint brushes were in her hair to hold her hair up a bit. It still dragged the ground. Terra, Hiccup, and Merida saw her, and smiled. "Mother!" The girl cheered, racing into Seraphine's embrace. The older woman smiled and hugged her back. When they broke away, the girl smiled.
"Hi lass," Merida said, walking up to her,"I'm Merida, Mother of Willow o' the Wisps and Queen of Summer." The girl blushed. "H-Hi," She said. "I'm Hiccup," Hiccup said standing next to his sister,"Protector of dragons and King of Autumn." The girl giggled. "Rapunzel," She said, shaking their hands,"Keeper of the healing flower and Queen of Spring."
Two years Later ~
"I'm gonna get you, Punzie!" Hiccup called as he ran around chasing his younger sister. "No you won't, Hiccup!" She yelled back, over her shoulder. "AHH!" Rapunzel then fell onto the floor, skinning her knee. "Rapunzel," Hiccup said, running up to her,"Are you ok?" Rapunzel nodded. She then placed her hair on her knee.
"Flower, gleam and glow," She sang,"Let, your power shine. Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt. Change the fate's design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine. What once was mine." Hiccup sighed when he saw that the scrap was gone. "I'm glad mother gave you the power of healing," He smiled at his little sister,"Other wise we'd all be bleeding, dying messes." Rapunzel chuckled,"I guess."
Merida then came running into the room. "Mo'er's singing again," She said as she squealed with excitement. "So?" Rapunzel questioned. "It means we're get'ing ano'er sibling," Merida said. "I hope we get a brother," Hiccup said,"I don't know what I'd do with a bunch of girls." "Come on Hic'up," Merida said,"This is excit'ing!" "I know, Mer,"Hiccup said.
Terra sat in her room, sewing a blue jacket together. "He comes last, but is not forgotten," She sang,"For his sisters love him dearly. He looks up to the one he proclaims,'leader' which the Autumn accept willingly. They see each other and fall instantly. Like with the Summer and the Spring. It is then that their relationship is in full swing. They dance and dance all night. Winter holding onto Autumn a bit to tight. The stars shining down on all four of them that night. And shine they do, like heaven's white light. Then the lights dim and the stage is set. For the crown has been polished yet. And there he sits, on a silver throne, at Autumn's right hand. That's where he'll be and that's where he'll stay."
A week after singing the song, Terra and three fourths of her children are yet again at the Pole. Waiting for the expected new comer. Then the doors opened and the air gets freezing cold. A boy with white spike hair, crystal icy blue eyes, pale skin, and a slender frame walked into the room. As he came up to the others, his eyes fell onto Hiccup. The Autumn King looked down at him and their eyes locked. Merida, and Rapunzel giggled as Terra smiled.
"Welcome," Terra said,"My son." "Hi," He said,"Mother." "I'm Rapunzel," The blonde then said,"Keeper of the healing flower and Queen of Spring." Merida stood next to Rapunzel and smiled. "I'm Merida," She said,"Mother of the willow o' the Wisps and Queen of Summer." The boy smiled. "Hiccup then stood next to his sisters. "I-I'm Hiccup," he said," Keeper dragons and King of Autumn."
The albino smirked. "Do you train the dragons you keep?" He questioned. Hiccup nodded,"Why?" "Just wondering," the kid replied. "What's your name," Rapunzel questioned. "Jack Frost," He replied,"Guardian of fun and King of Winter."
1 Year Later ~
Everyone was in the ballroom. Rapunzel and Hiccup were dancing to their hearts content as Merida and Jack sat on the sidelines. Hiccup saw that his sister and lover weren't dancing. So he nudged Rapunzel and the two siblings went to go confront their dates.
"Meri!" Rapunzel said,"Come on! Let's dance!" "No, Rapunzel," Merida answered,"You go dance. I'm to tired from the hunt today." Rapunzel frowned and her lip quivered. Tears swell into her eyes. "No, No Lass," Merida said, standing up and trying to wipe the tears away, but they kept coming. "Please," Rapunzel pleaded,"Taking Merida's hand and placing it on her cheek,"Just one?" Merida sighed and smiled,"Just one." Rapunzel smiled and led Merida away from the boys.
Hiccup smiled as he looked down at Jack. "Your Highness," He said, bowing playfully and offering a hand to the young king of Winter,"Would you like to dance?" Jack didn't answer, he just looked to the floor. "What's wrong, love?" Hiccup questioned, sitting next to Jack and rubbing his back gently. "Ican'tdance," The teen answered. "What?" Hiccup questioned. Jack groaned,"I can't dance."
Hiccup's smile faltered then re-prepared it's self. "It's easy," He said,"Come dance and I'll show." "No, Hiccup," Jack answered. Hiccup thought for a sec. "You know how to fight, right?" Jack nodded. "It's just like fighting," Hiccup explained,"Except slower and less painful." Jack chuckled. Hiccup leaned in so his breath was right on Jack's ear. "Please," He said,"Come dance with me." Jack blushed. "Ok," He said,"Just once."
Hiccup chuckled and dragged Jack to the dance floor to join their sisters. "Remember," Hiccup whispered,"It's like fighting." Jack nodded and began slowly throwing his fist at Hiccup, who grabbed it and spun Jack around into a dip. Jack smiled as Hiccup raised him back up. The two then waltzed and the girls couldn't help but giggle.
"Two little princes, dancing in a row," Terra sang to herself,"Spinning, fast and freely, on their little toes. Two little princesses dancing in a row. Where the light will take them. No one knows." She then continued to smiles as she watched the four seasons dance late into the night. Grateful that she was given a way to have this moment. ~
