Emily P.O.V

By the end of the day I was still in a really good mood, having all classes with Ali was great I could stare at her and it always made me smile. Mr Martins and Ms Bine decided that only the cast would practice during lunch and our last class rehearsal so we could do a run through and see what needed to be fixed up. Ali and I got to kiss a couple of time which didn't mind one bit and Ali would have a massive smile on her face afterwards. We walked into the Gym after school to see half the boys including Toby warming up and Coach still in his office.

I waved at Toby before turning to Ali and said "I have to go change, are you going to be okay out here?"

Ali smirked playfully and replied with "I could always come help you," I was a little shocked since I wasn't expecting it but when I realise she was playing me I couldn't help but smile.

I said "As much as I would love that, I have to change and warm up with the boys."

Ali asked "The boys?"

I answered with "Yeah, the boys."

Ali said "Alright, go change and I'll be up in the stands cheering for you," I smiled at her before pecking her lightly on the check and left to go to the women's changing room. After quickly getting changed into a pair of basketball short and singlet, I walked back into the court and walked over to where Ali was sitting.

When I got over to her Ali said "Looking good Fields."

I smiled and replied with "Thanks, can you look after my bag please?"

Ali said "Of course," I placed my bag down in front of her legs and handing her my phone, wallet and car keys. I leaned over and kissed Ali and heard sounds coming from the boys, I looked over my shoulder to see them all going nuts.

I turned to looked at Ali and said "I better go warm up, are you going to be okay here? You don't get bored do you?"

Ali answered with "Yeah you better. I'll be fine, I have your phone if I ever get bored not that I do because I get to watch you run around."

I smiled and said "Alright, have fun," I gave her another kiss before heading over to where the boys were standing with the coach.

Coach said "Glad you could join us Fields."

I replied with "Sorry Coach, just wanted to make sure my girlfriend is alright."

Coach said "It's okay but I'm pushing you to your limits today, one because you won't be here for tomorrows practice and two because I need one of my starting five in top form," I looked at him shocked trying to work out if he was serious.

I asked "Are you serious?"

Coach smiled and replied with "Yeah I am, we want to win this year and I think you could be the one to help with that; you as well Toby."

Dylan said "We normally do this on game day but we decided to do it now," I looked at the boys confused. Tommy and Cameron pulled to jersey from behind his back they were blue and the number were white. Tommy had my jersey and it had Fields on the back, under my name was the number 16; my new favourite number. Cameron who was holding Toby's jersey which had Cavanaugh on the back and the number 18 on it.

They handed us them to us, I smiled and said "Thanks guys."

Toby added "Yeah thanks."

Coach clapped his hand and said "Okay let's get to work, put your jersey away and Emily five laps around the court to warm up." He went into telling the others what to do while I went over to Ali to give her my jersey before getting stuck into running around the court to warm up. After a gruelling practice I was really tired Coach had did as he said giving me a lot to do since I wouldn't be here tomorrow for practice. Telling Ali I would shower now so I didn't have to when I got home and she had asked to join but I just smiled it off not really knowing what to say. Showering was quick because I didn't want to make Ali wait to longer than she already had too. Quickly changing back into what I had warned today, packing up everything I had and left the change rooms. Finding Ali sitting in the stand waiting for me, I looked at her and saw she had a smile on her face which made one instantly appear on my face.

Walking over to her, I said "Sorry if I took too long."

Ali replied with "You didn't and I don't mind wait, though I was half tempted to come in there." I felt a blush creep up onto my face and I just nodded my head not really knowing what to say.

Ali then said "Spence texted me while you were showering asking if we wanted to come study at her place since Hanna and Aria are already over there."

I nodded and asked "Do you want to go?"

Ali answered with "Yeah I could use Spencer brain, I do not understand Maths at the moment but I wanted to ask you since I know how you feel about hanging with them."

I smiled and said "Ali you just sat there for two hours watching me play a sport you don't even like, the least I can do is go there especially since you need help which you should have told me."

Ali replied with "I don't mind basketball as long as you're playing, so I text her saying we are on our way there?"

I nodded my head and said "Yeah of course," I watch as she got excited and text Spencer that we would be there soon.

Ali said "All done, are you ready to go."

I answered with "Yep, I've got everything lets go." Ali hand me my basketball jersey which I put into my bag before grabbing a hold of her hand and we left the gym for my car to drive us to Spencers.

I wasn't all that thrilled about going to Spencers house to study but Alison really wanted to go and she had also just watched my practice; I don't care how hot I am that sounds really boring. Pulling up outside of the Hastings house, I looked out through Ali's window at the house to see it was exactly the same as the inside as well was my guess. Hopping out of the car I walked around to Ali's side of the car to open the door for her and help her out. Once she was out of the car we got our bags from the backseat before walking hand in hand together up to the front door. Pressing the button to ring the doorbell we stood there waiting for someone to come to the door.

The door then open and Spencer was standing there; she said "Hey guy, come on in," I waved and Ali politely said hello back before we both entered the house. Spencer closed the door behind us and led us into the house until we got into the living room where Aria and Hanna were sitting on the couch seat together with books in front of them.

Aria said "Hey," Hanna also said hello after her and Ali replied to both of them while I just waved at them both.

Spencer asked "Would you two like a drink?"

Ali looked at me before replying with "Just two waters if that's okay," Spencer nodded her head indicating that it was okay. Spencer told us to take a seat and get comfortable while she got our drinks, which we did taking the other couch seat leaving spencer with the single seater.

Aria then asked "How was training Emily?"

I answered with "Yeah it was alright, gruelling and hard but good."

Hana asked "Don't you ever get bored watching her Ali?"

Ali smiled and replied with "No, it's actually pretty good watching Emily running around in little basketball short and a singlet. I get to see her arms which are amazing, so it's fun for me just as much as it is for Emily," I smiled at Ali before kissing her on the top of her head. Spencer walked back into the room carrying two glasses of water, handing them to both of us before taking a seat. I took a sip before placing it down on the table; I unzipped my bag and looked through it for something to work on. I found my history book and decided to work on that, I looked over at Ali to see her looking through her bag.

Ali then asked "Spence, if it wasn't a problem would you be able to help me with my Maths I'm not understanding a word our teacher is saying at the moment and well I desperately need your brain?"

Spencer answered with "Sure I'll help, why don't we go upstairs so we don't distract these guys?"

Ali looked at me quickly, I nodded my head and she turned back to Spencer saying "Yeah sounds good," they both got their stuff and head upstairs together. I watch them leave when I couldn't see them anymore I turned back to my history booklet and started to go over it.

Barely able to answer one question without looking at the doorway Ali had left out of almost 30 minutes ago; I just couldn't help it.

Aria then said "She okay you know."

I looked up and asked "What do you mean?"

Hanna replied with "Ali, she safe up there with Spencer, you don't have to keep looking at the doorway."

I said "I know she is, I just can't help it," they both nodded their heads.

When my phone rang Hanna said "Look there's something to distracted you for a while and let us concentrate on our homework instead of you," I nodded my head and looked at my phone to see who was ringing and it was Noel.

I smiled and answered the phone with "Hey."

Noel replied with "Hi, are you busy?"

I said "No I'm just doing homework so not busy at all."

Noel asked "You doing homework? That's a joke right?"

I answered with "One word, Ali."

Noel said "Gotcha, you would do anything for that girl."

I replied with "You know it but you're the same with Mona."

Noel said "Yeah your right, surprise you were able to hear your phone I thought you'd me busy doing other things."

I rolled my eyes and say "Get that idea out of your head right now, anyway we are at Spencers."

Noel asked "Why are you there?"

I answered with "She invited us over, Ali wanted to come and well you know I'd do anything her even come to this house."

Noel asked "Are you okay?"

I replied with "Yeah I'm fine, I mean I don't really like being here but."

Noel cut me off with "You'll do anything for her even go to a place where it makes you feel uncomfortable."

I said "Yep, got it one. I mean I would even do swimming if she really wanted to me but thankfully she hasn't asked me to do that."

Noel said "Wow."

I replied with "Yep, anyway why'd you call?"

Noel said "Right I almost forgot I was thinking about how you didn't want to push Ali too fast, too soon and do you remember me talking about double dating?"

I answered with "Firstly off you thinking sound scary and secondly what does that have to do with it?"

Noel said "Shut up, what I was thinking was that we could take our girls on a double date. That way there wouldn't be any pressure on you and Ali will be around people she knows and gets along with."

I replied with "Well when you say it like that, it sounds good," I had already agreed to it in my head but the extra he had added sounded good.

Noel asked "Does that mean you're in?"

I answered with "Yeah I'm defiantly in," I could hear Noel smiling through the phone.

Noel said "Awesome, now I don't know what we are going to do but surely between the two of us we can come up with something."

I responded with "You would think we could."

Noel just said "We will, now I was thinking we could do it on Friday after your game," I heard noise and looked up to see Ali and Spencer walking back into the room.

I replied with "Yeah sounds good, look we'll talk about this later yeah?"

Noel asked "Ali come back downstairs?"

I answered with "Yep, hey do you mind if we cancel Saturday?"

Noel said "It shouldn't be a problem, any reason why?"

I replied with "Just want to spend some time with my girl," I saw Ali blush and smile while I heard a whipping sound in my ear.

I say "Oh shut up, like you're not."

Noel replied with "Yeah true but in this case it's you."

I said "Yeah whatever."

Noel laughed and said "Alright, will talk about the thing sometime tomorrow."

I replied with "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow."

Noel said "That you will," we did a bit more talking backwards and forward between each other before I finally was able to hung up the phone without seeming rude.

Ali asked "Who was that?"

I answered with "Just Noel."

Ali said "Right, anything he wanted?"

I replied with "No he just wanted to run something by me, nothing to worry about."

Hanna then said "Be worried Ali."

Ali said "Already am Hanna."

I smiled and replied with "Seriously it's nothing to worry about; it was just a casual chat. Anyway did you get everything sorted with your Maths work?"

Ali answered with "Okay. Yes it is all sort, I now understand what the teacher is saying while you fall asleep."

Aria asked "You fall asleep in class?"

I replied with "Sometimes."

Spencer said "Don't you care about your education at all."

I answered with "Bit late to be concerned about that Spencer, don't you think?" You could cut the tension in the room with a knife with Spencer and I glaring at each other. We then heard the door open and close loudly which snapped Spencer and I out of our glaring match, I looked over to see who it was and a few minutes later Melissa walked in.

Melissa looked at us then at me and said "Never thought I'd see you here."

I replied with "Never thought I'd be back here either but Ali wanted to come."

Melissa said "Right gotcha," she then continued on walking out to the kitchen.

Spencer asked me "You didn't want to come?"

I replied with "What do you think Spencer? You think I'd be happy to come here."

Spencer said "I thought things were getting better behind us."

I responded with "They are Spencer but it's going to take time, coming here isn't exactly easy for me which you should know?"

Ali then asked "What's going on?" I saw the confusion on her face and in her eyes, I glanced at Aria who was also confused but Hanna was looking at the ground remember what happened here.

Hanna then asked "Do you two have to be like this again?"

Spencer looked at me and said "I didn't think okay, I just thought."

I asked "Thought, what? I'd get over what you said?" Hanna looked down at the ground again, back then I didn't feel bad for her she would always be put in the middle when Spencer and I would fight.

Ali asked "Emily, what's going on?"

I answered with "It's complicated Ali," I didn't want to brush her off but I didn't really want to tell her what happened back when she wasn't here.

Spencer said "I'm sorry okay, how many times do I have to say it. I'm sorry for what I said back then, I'm sorry for having you come back here and I'm sorry for what I've said here."

I replied with "Spencer, these things take time. I haven't forgiven any of you yet but I'm trying really I am but you all excluding you Aria, said a lot of things, hurtful things that I'm not just going to get over."

Hanna said "We understand that now Emily," the silence in the air was loud, deafening almost. I didn't really know what to say or do and by the look of it neither did Spencer or Hanna; Ali and Aria just looked confused.

Ali then said "Please Em, tell me what happened?" I looked away from Spencer and at Ali to see a pleading look.

I replied with "Maybe we should talk about this at your place."

Ali said "Okay, if you promise to tell me the truth about what happened?

I answered with "Yeah of course, maybe we should go now?" Ali nodded her head; we packed up our stuff quickly before saying our goodbyes and walking ourselves out of the house. I knew once we had left Spencer and Hanna would probably fill Aria in on what she had missed while she was away, I didn't blame Aria much for what happen but she didn't have to stop calling me.
