AN: I was requested to do more Fairy Tale AU! So, I thought of Mulan AU!. Hiccup as Mulan and Jack as Shang. North as the Emperor. Yea. I can't characterize right. Anyway, Enjoy and review. ~
He was just offered a position in the Emperor's royal council. But he decided that he was needed at home. As he walked down the staircase, Jack stopped him. "Uh, Hiccup," He said,"You..uh.. you fight good." "Oh," Hiccup replied,"Thank you." He then mounted his horse and left the royal palace.
North walked down and stood by Jack. Seeing the boy stare where Hiccup had fled. "The flower that blooms in adversity," He said,"Is the most rare and beautiful of all." "Sire," Jack said, being told to hush. "You don't find a boy like that every dynasty," North said, gesturing to what Hiccup had done and the courage he had shown. The older man then left Jack's side.
He walked slowly. Seeing his father sitting where they sat before he had left for war. "Hiccup?" The man said, speechless to see his son back from the war. For he had imagined that his son wouldn't have made it. "Father," Hiccup said, sitting in front of Stoick. "I've brought you the sword of Komotize Pitchnier," The man took the sword into his hands.
"And the crest of the Emperor," Hiccup said, placing the necklace onto the sword,"They're gifts. To honor the Haddock family." Stoick dropped the sword and crest to the side, dropping to his knees and embracing his son in his arms. "The greatest gift of honor," He said,"Is having you for a son." They hugged once more. "I missed you, shio," Stoick said. "I missed you too, papa," Hiccup said.
A small distance away, Valka and Gothi stood near the house. "Great," Gothi said,"He brings home a sword. If you ask me, he should've brought home a man-" "Excuse me," Jack said, startling the two women,"Is Hiccup Haddock here?" The two women pointed in the direction of where the boy was. "Thank you," Jack said. "Wow," Gothi said,"Sign me up for the next war."
"Honorable Stoick Haddock," Jack said as he walked up to the man,"I- Hiccup!" Hiccup had walked beside his father, surprised that Jack had shown up at his house. "Uh," Jack said, blushing a bit,"You forgot your helmet! Well, it's actually, your helmet, sir," He then handed the armor to Stoick.
Hiccup and Stoick chuckled to one another and Hiccup took the helmet. "Would you like to stay for dinner?" He suggested. "Would you like to stay forever?!" Gothi yelled. Hiccup shook his head as Jack chuckled nervously. "Dinner, would be great," Jack answered.
AN: I allowed Gothi to talk. I needed someone to act as Mulan's grandmother. SO~ Gothi popped into my mind.
