It was late one evening. It was dark. It was cold. And He was scared. "Hi-Hiccup!" The six year old called,"Hiccup!" The older auburn came rushing into the room. "Jack? What's wrong?" He questioned as he stood at the foot of the bed. The boy let out a cough-like sob. The older having no choice but to sit next to his step brother.
"What's wrong, Snowflake?" Hiccup questioned as he took the younger boy in his arms and began comforting him like his mom showed him. "It's to dark, Hiccup!" Jack cried,"A-and I'm scared!" "Scared of what?" Hiccup questioned, stroking the white locks of his step brother softly. "T-that he'll get y-you!" Jack choked out.
Hiccup shook his head. "Jack," He said,"The Nightmare King isn't gonna get me. And I wouldn't dare letting him touch ypu." "I don't want to be left alone," Jack said, snuggling into the older male's chest,"Please Hiccup, don't leave me alone." Hiccup kissed the younger boy's head lightly. "Don't worry, Jack," Hiccup said softly,"I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." ~
