But when he pulled the curtain they saw Harry lying on the bed with different coloured wires coming out of his chest. He had a pale grey look to his face and lying very still, he looked really unwell.

'Bloody hell, he looks awful' said Ron.

'Ron!' scolded Hermione 'don't say that he just came back from the dead' she whispered.

'Hey' a groggy voice from the bed. 'Are you arguing already you just got here?'

'Oh my dear boy' you are awake. How do you feel?' asked Molly going over to his side.

'Tired and need water' replied Harry about to reach for the cup when it suddenly disappeared in a swirl of blue light and then materialized back in Harry's hand.

'Wow' said Ron 'How did you do that?'

'Don't know' replied a shocked Harry who was staring at the cup and took a drink.

'This can't be good' said Molly. 'Harry do you remember what happened, how you died?'

'Yes, there was this old book…a book of shadows. I read an incantation and then woke up in a place where it was all white with these people dressed in robes and a woman called Heather. I thought it was a dream but I am guessing it was real I don't know. It was all very strange. They healed me with their hands and I woke up with those ambulance people over me'

'This book do you still have it?' Remus asked with a concerned look on his face.

'No, that's where I don't know my memory is a bit fuzzy on that part' replied Harry taking another drink.

Putting the glass back he noticed a plant on the window ledge and thought it looked pretty, when it disappeared in the same swirl of blue light and materialized into his hands a few seconds later and the mud went everywhere.

'Oh Harry how are you doing that?' gasped Mrs Weasley.

'I don't know' he replied getting his hands muddy.

'I don't think it is a good idea for you to stay here another night. It's not safe with you know who on the loose and with you doing that' said Mr Weasley.

'I agree' said Remus with the others nodding in agreement in return. 'Where is that doctor?' He asked disappearing out of view.

'Well let's get you cleaned up' said Molly taking the plant from him and began brushing down the muddy bed covers with her hands carefully avoiding the wires.

Hermione, Ginny, Ron and Mr Weasley stood watching silently with interest and worried about their friend.

'I am afraid Harry will have to stay here for the night but will be allowed out tomorrow afternoon after a few more tests the doctors have agreed to let him be discharged' said Remus coming back.

'That's a relief' said Mrs Weasley who was helping Harry sit up and making him comfortable.

'That's long enough came a woman's stern voice', Mr Potter needs his rest. All turned to see a thin woman with grey hair beneath a white cap in a nurse's uniform standing there.

'Yes ok well be on our way' replied Molly ushering the rest of them from the bed.

'And Harry try and not you know while were gone' said Remus backing away.

Nodding in agreement Harry said 'try not to' getting ready to go for a sleep.

After dinner Harry just lay in bed trying to get some sleep when the nurse's came and removed the wires and unhooked him from the machines. And while they did so they all said that he was very lucky to be alive after surviving death for so long.

He felt relieved to be unhooked and free of the machines. He was able to doze on and off throughout the night. When he tossed and turned again and again he suddenly couldn't see. He knew his eye sight was bad without glasses but not completely gone like it was at the moment. A bit scared he rubbed them with his hands to see if that helped and when he opened them again he found himself back in the white space standing right in front of Heather again.

'Am I dead?' he asked looking around.

'No you just orbed up here' replied Heather.

'Orbed…what's that?' he asked shuffling from foot to foot uneasily.

'You can go from place to place whenever you feel like it and call for things by blinking your eyes' she replied.

It's called Apparating where I come from' said Harry.

'Oh is that so…I have been watching you. How have you managed to gain a white lighter's powers without being chosen?'

'I have no idea' he replied trying to think back to before dying, but coming blank.

'Well I will continue to watch over you to see what other abilities you have acquired.'

'Ok' he replied when his vision once again became blank.

Opening them after a few seconds he found himself standing beside the hospital bed back in the ward. That was interesting he thought to himself and went to bed for a fitful night's sleep.

The next morning after a shower and breakfast Harry waited patiently, but becoming bored he decided to try and see if he could do that trick again. Closing the curtain around his bed so no one could see he put the book at the bottom of his bed and sat down on his bed and wondered how it worked.

Concentrating really hard he kept on thinking I want that book and suddenly it disappeared in the same swirl of blue light, reappearing a few seconds later in his hands. Wow he thought it worked. He was about to try it again when he thought of Ron and missed him and Hermione when his vision blackened, and a few seconds later he found himself in the room back at headquarters facing Ron who was sitting on the bed reading a magazine.

'Wow' said Ron 'How the bloody hell did you get here' he asked clearly in shock.
