Chapter 31

"What?" gasped Harry in shock glancing at Hermione and noticing Malfoy standing beside her.

"Malfoy…what are you doing here?" he asked.

"Don't know…I had a turn when I was with my parents and found myself here with you" he replied uncomfortably.

"Come to my office where we can talk without interruption?" said Dumbledore leading the way back up the stairs.

"Yes sir" said Harry suddenly unable to hold back a sneeze.

Once he sneezed Hermione suddenly grabbed his arm pulling him back.

"What?" he asked.

"Harry you just orbed" Hermione said in a hushed tone so Dumbledore couldn't here her.

"I did" Harry asked shocked that he would still have his charmed abilities. 'He never felt a thing' he thought in alarm.

"You must have your powers" said Ron butting in the conversation.

"Very clever Ron" scolded Hermione.

"This could be bad" replied Harry trying to calm himself down. "I haven't got control of my emotions yet" he said turning around to follow Dumbledore.

As they walked behind their headmaster Harry pondered on 'what to do about his abilities, 'should he tell Dumbledore or not. Probably not it would be too dangerous'

In the office Dumbledore stood behind his desk and stared at him. "You have your mothers eyes" he said sitting down.

"I know" he replied trying not to show how nervous he was of being round people again.

"We must keep your identities a secret…yours might be difficult" said Dumbledore "as you look so much like James"

"What affect can this change our time line?" Harry curiously asked.

"Well as long as you don't kill anyone in this time frame…it shouldn't affect your time frame"

'Oh boy' thought Harry this is going to be difficult twiddling his thumbs nervously.

"We need to give you new names and get you settled into your house" said Dumbledore scratching his forehead where Harry could see sweat running down it.

"I will be Perry" said Harry slightly unsure.

"I and Ginny can be Ron and Ginny Wes" said Ron with confidence.

"Don't I have a say?" said Ginny whom had kept quiet until now.

"No I am older than you" replied Ron.

"Whatever" replied Ginny folding her arms moodily.

"I will be Mal" said Draco whom had also been quiet and observant of everything that was going on.

"Right then well that's settled" said Dumbledore standing up. "Lets get you settled into Gryffindor"

"But I am in Slytherin" said Malfoy.

"It's the only house with the room" replied Dumbledore heading out of his office.

Sighing Malfoy followed behind Harry.

They all trooped out of his office and down the stairs. As they neared the common room doorway Harry was getting really nervous.

Entering the room they saw the place was deserted of people, only a low fire burning in the fireplace. "Everyone's in bed" said Dumbledore standing in the middle of the common room.

"Right well off to bed pip…pip" he said clapping his hands. "You will meet everyone in the morning" leaving them standing bewildered.

Heading up to the room, Harry could hear someone snoring and breathing which means they were asleep he thought finding an empty bed.

Unable to find his night ware, Harry, Ron and a troubled looking Malfoy slept pitifully in their clothes.

Tossing and turning for the rest of the early hours, Harry couldn't sleep for being so anxious. As daylight filled the room, Harry sighed irritably and reached for his glasses.

Putting them on he sat up in bed and came face to face with James who was also sitting on his bed opposite Harry's and stared at him clearly in shock.
