Chapter 34

The next morning, Harry was in the boy's toilets alone when he heard a familiar squeaky voice taunt someone.

Opening the door he saw Peter Petigrew standing picking on a first year Gryffindor student.

"Hey", Harry yelled.

As Peter spun around to face him, he aimed a punch and caught him on the head.

"Ah" Peter gasped staggering back words clutching his head.

"Leave him alone" Harry cried aiming another punch to his cheek.

Falling down, Peter clutched his cheek as Harry sat down on him the first year ran away scared.

It was then, Harry couldn't control his anger and he aimed another punch breaking Peter's nose, blood splattering everywhere.

Suddenly strong arms grabbed, Harry from behind pulling him away from Peter who was screaming and writhing on the floor with his hands over his nose.

Looking up, he saw Dumbledore's half moon glasses with angry eyes glaring at him. "Stop" he said holding him.

Temper simmering down, Harry stopped struggling to be free and Dumbledore spun him around to face him. "Calm down" he said angrily grabbing hold of his shoulders.

"No violence in Hogwarts" he said concerned about Peter who passed out with blood spilling out of his nose.

Calming down slightly, Harry watched as Dumbledore let go of him and going over to Peter, he picked him up and carried him out of the bathroom.

"Go to my office and wait for me there" he said striding down the corridor.

Harry nodded and headed to his office. When he got there he angrily slammed the door shut and paced the floor touching his sore bleeding hand.

Clenching and un-clenching his fists, he was still fuming, pacing the office.

It felt like ages, he waited for the headmaster to arrive, but he finally heard the door open and in Dumbledore came.

"Take a seat, Harry…Do you mind telling me what that was about?"

"I just lost control" he said sitting down while Dumbledore also sat down. 'He was picking on a first year and I just lost it'

Meanwhile as Harry was in Dumbledore's office, Lilly, James and Sirius were sitting away from the new students and Lilly was going on about Harry filling Sirius in on her feelings.

A thought suddenly came to him. "The map" he suddenly chipped in. "It never lies"

Standing up, Sirius urged them to follow him when the frightened first year boy who witnessed some of the fight hurried up to them.

"Can we help you?" Lilly asked standing up.

"The new student got into a fight with Peter and Peter is now in the hospital wing" he said breathlessly.

"Oh dear we better go and see him" replied Lilly. "Thank you for telling us"

As they left the great hall Lilly could see Hermione staring at them.

The nurse told them "that he wasn't aloud to be seen yet due to getting several stitches in his face and to come back later"

They then headed to the common room and waited for Sirius to retrieve the map.

Sitting down Lilly said she was so sure that Harry was her son that James began to feel really nervous.

Siting down, Sirius spread the map on his knee opening it to Dumbledore's office and to his great concern it said Harry James Potter. "So you are right, he is your son"

Now going to the great hall, they could see the new students real names in front of them. And Lilly could hear James in take a breath.

"That's not possible" said James standing up nervously rubbing his head.

"I told you so" said Lilly. "He looks like you but has my eyes"

"Should we tell him we know who he is?" James asked.

"Maybe we should wait and see if he might tell us or we just leave it be" replied Lilly. "Were not supposed to know who he is…it might change the future if we tell him, we could watch out for him without Harry knowing what we are doing"

"I guess so" replied James staring at Harry's name.

"I wonder if he will be expelled?" Sirius asked curiously "seeing as he was violent"

"Just have to wait and see" replied Lilly getting ready for the days classes.

Through out the day she noticed, Harry was not there, but showed up to the common room later that evening with a bloodied hand. He sat with his group and Sirius plucked up the courage to go over and ask if he was expelled and when, Harry said he had detention with Dumbledore every day, Sirius was shocked that Dumbledore never expelled him.

Lilly wanted to get to know Harry but she was cautious about him knowing she knew who he was and spent the rest of the evening watching Harry when he wasn't looking.
