Chapter 43
'I still feel seventeen years old but have the body of a twelve year old' Harry thought as he stared out the window of the train. He sat alone and was really bored so he got a magazine and began reading it and wondered what other changes were expected at Hogwarts. 'At least I still have my powers, so if he needed to use them he would' as the train moved along the railway line.
It was a long boring journey as he joined Ron and the other students at the station and saw Hagrid and said "Hello Hagrid" to the friendly giant. "Sorry do I know you?" he asked Harry.
'This is bad thought' Harry as he guided them the rest of the journey to Hogwarts.
At the entrance to the castle he saw men dressed in black standing guard and were searched as they made their way through the brown doors and even more guards were about the place.
At the entrance way to the great hall it was Lucius Malfoy standing talking to a guard standing there and that made Harry gasp in surprise.
Right first years before you go in you will be sorted into you're house before the feast he said turning around and heading in. Following him he saw Draco Malfoy walking beside him who didn't even say anything to him.
As they entered the hall, Harry noticed nobody staring, whispering and pointing at him and he felt really weird about that as he noticed seventeen-year-old Tom Riddle sitting where Dumbledore usually sat and he stopped short and stared causing someone to bang into him from behind. "Watch it," said a voice. "Sorry" he gasped in shock at seeing Tom sitting at the staff table.
Looking along it, he saw Professor Snape at his usual seat talking to Delores Umbridge, Professor McGonagall then Tom and the other side of Tom was Slughorn and a couple of guards and he noticed the tense atmosphere as they stood in front of the sorting hat and he saw Tom smiling at him and Harry shivered as he looked away. 'Where's Dumbledore' he asked himself.
"Harry Potter" called the hat and he sighed and wandered up to it sitting down. "I know just what to do with you…Gryffindor," it said and Harry sighed in relief.
Hermione and Ron were also placed in Gryffindor but didn't know him and he didn't like it as he looked at Tom and wondered 'how he was going to sort out the mess he had gotten himself into'
The rest of the students were placed and the feast began and as they were eating Peter and Bella wandered in with Lucius Malfoy along with his wife making Harry angry and even more shocked at seeing them as a cold chill ran through him which put him off his food.
Sighing, he placed his fork down and stared at Tom wondering how he was going to fix things and wondered 'where Dumbledore was as he really needed to find him'
And as he waited for the feast to end, he felt rather nauseous of the mistake he had made and struggled keeping the small amount of food he had eaten down and hoped he wasn't going to throw up in front of everyone he thought taking a drink of water from his cup. Feeling rather unwell, Harry stood up and hurried from the hall.
Heading for the bathroom, he was violently sick in the sink before he could get to the toilet and felt slightly better after words. Splashing his face with cold water he could feel the shock of it all run through his body and wondered how he was going to fix things when a voice he knew asked, "if he was all right?"
"It's the shock," he whispered. "Where is Dumbledore?" he asked Tom standing behind him.
"Don't worry I took care of him, I wanted to thank you for giving me the stone" he said holding out his hand.
"A mistake" Harry snapped refusing to shake hands.
"You would rather have things the way they were?"
"At least I had friends, no one knows me and I find that strange"
"Well at least I am alive because of you and I thank you"
"It's all a mistake. I need to fix it some how"
"Well good luck with that" replied Tom slightly disappointed as he turned and left the room with Harry staring after him confused.
As he made his way to Gryffindor common room, he noticed no moving pictures but swords and different weapons placed on the walls as he walked by.
No one even looked up as he entered the common room and no one spoke to him as he looked around the familiar room. "Do you need showing around?" Percy asked him standing in front of him. "No thank you" he said heading to the stairs causing Percy to frown after him.
Feeling rather lonely, he sat on the same bed he usually used and sighed when a thought struck him. Concentrating, he thought 'Dumbledore' and saw his eyesight become blurry and the familiar feeling of orbing.
When his eyes cleared he found himself in a dark corridor with metal bars in front of him. With his eyes becoming used to the gloom, he saw Dumbledore lying on the stone floor and gasped at the sight of him lying there. "Key" he said loudly and moments later a black key appeared in his hand.
Putting the key in with shaking hands he opened it and hurried to his former headmaster and said his name going on his knees and holding Albus gently. "Sir" he said. "Sir it's me Harry"
Dumbledore opened his eyes slightly and croaked, "Who are you?"
"Never mind" he said shaking his head and thought of a safe place to go and orbed out along with Dumbledore wondering if it worked on people as well.
In the only place he could think of, he found he was in a kitchen familiar to him and when a familiar voice said, 'What is all the noise?"
Turning round, Harry snapped "Stay back" and a blue light shot out of his chest covering him and Dumbledore. "What's that?" asked, Sirius staring.
"It protects me from danger hopefully" Harry replied helping Dumbledore onto a seat. "Harry what is going on?" Sirius asked confused.
"I will explain once Dumbledore is better"
Letting the shield down, Harry got Dumbledore water and some food while Sirius sat down waiting for an answer to his question.
Once Dumbledore was having a wash and freshening up, Harry had a lengthy conversation with Sirius telling him things he would never have told anyone and Sirius was in shock as he finished his long story. "I would appreciate it if you kept all this to yourself"
"I fully understand why you would want your parents alive but the changes are not good as you say. I do not know how you are going to fix things but if you must, you must"
Thank you, said Harry giving him a hug and saying "you probably wont remember anything I have told you once things are back to normal" before orbing out.
Finding himself in the chamber of secrets, he was about to call for something important when a man appeared in a black suit with grey hair tied back in a pony tail standing in front of him whom was not Tom Riddle.
