Fred was laying in his room moping Hermione broke up with him, he couldn't process exactly why. He wasn't spending all his time with Romilda and he wasn't flirting and he definitely wasn't into her. He thought Hermione needed space so he was giving it to her. He thought about what Hermione said, 'when was the last time we had conversation?' he really wasn't sure when or the last time he cuddled her or even snogged her, he couldn't remember. He continued to sit there missing Hermione she was well is the most important person to him he'd do anything for her he thought giving her space was the best but maybe he should of asked how she was doing maybe she thought he didn't care enough he wasn't sure all he knew was he wants Hermione back. He heard George heading up the stairs "Hey Fred, how are you doing?"

"Like crap got dumped by the best girl I ever knew, because I was giving her space which I thought she needed but that bit me in the arse" he said annoyed with himself

"I don't think it's that so much, I never noticed because my attention was on Katie but she said she noticed and once I actually thought about it, you we're constantly talking about Romilda about how funny she is, smart, all that" Fred gave him a dirty look "I'm not saying you found her attractive" George added quickly " but you use to talk about Hermione and be all head over heels with her but lately it really has been all about Romilda" George finished

"But why did no one tell me, I would of backed off you're my twin you should of said something" Fred said getting frustrated "Hey don't get frustrated with me I told I didn't notice until Katie said something" George said holding hands up in defense. They sat there in quiet for a few minutes until Fred was going to talk but his phone went off he was hoping it was Hermione but it wasn't it was Romilda

Hey you coming tonight? Starts at 9pm!

Fred looked down at his phone and was thinking about it but he knew going it will get back to Hermione than it would look like he liked her. He only saw Romilda as one of the guys surely, she knew that. He needed to talk to her about maybe distance because he wants Hermione back and that maybe the only way. He thought a few more minutes

Yeah, I don't think so thanks for the invite I'm just not in the mood

Seeing the word friend inserted made him feel better she obviously didn't have feelings for him. So what could it hurt laying in bed isn't going to get Hermione back. He decided going to the party would be a good time to tell /Romilda she needs to give him some space.

Hermione was at home she was thankful her friend's came over Ginny had to leave and so did Luna Katie stayed with her. Just talking about books, actors, movies, random stuff. They were watching a walk to remember this movie always made Hermione cry but it's so beautiful. Katie finally spoke up

"So, how's the music writing going any luck?" Hermione just looked at her fingers not saying anything "shame you write some of the best music and you need to do the talent show even have Ron's band play the music for you it be so awesome!" Hermione still looked away "I just don't feel it anymore after my dad I feel the music in me died with him" Hermione began to tear up Katie just hugged her "plus I don't even know what to write about, it use to be Fred gave me ideas in my head but that's over now" Katie got a pillow and smacked her with it "what was that for!?"

"it's over now!? Are you serious Hermione Fred still loves you and wants to be with you, I thought you were going to try and get him back?"

"Somethings are best left alone"

"Are they though?" they sat in quiet for a few than had some small talk until Katie needed to head home Katie was right she couldn't just avoid a situation she always does that the easy option. She missed how things were writing music notes from her dad the movie nights, she missed Fred his kisses how he could make her laugh and smile. She grabbed the photo of her and her dad, and his voice came into her head for the first time 'The future depends on what you do today' she smiled with tears in her eyes "okay daddy" she said in a whisper. She decided to go to bed with tears falling but She decided tomorrow she was going to see her father'

Fred was at the party not enjoying himself sure Romilda was trying to cheer him up but she was very touchy with him, he kept casually moving his arm she kept grabbing. George was across from him shaking his head. Fred wanted to text Hermione so bad it was killing him. He got up to go outside to get fresh air George was on the phone with Katie

"Hey what are you up too?"

"At Oliver's party, Romilda invited us"

"Romilda! Why is Fred hanging with her after the whole Hermione thing!"

"he's not enjoying himself and he's pretty uncomfortable she keeps touching his atm"

'The fucking tart! I'll kill her how can you be so low taking advantage of someone who just went through a breakup god really know how to pick them"

"Well, he did pick Hermione so he got one right"

"that's true, I'm on my way over"

"Katie."

"No see you in 20 minutes!"

With that she hung up. Meanwhile Fred was outside getting air, he started to tear up he really screwed up he decided yes Hermione needed space but screw it last time he gave her space he hurt her. He's going to let her know he's still here waiting for her he took out his phone and texted but didn't finish because she probably wouldn't pick up plus she was probably asleep. He'll wait until tomorrow.

Fred was praying to whatever god or spirit is up there to help him out, just than Romilda came out "hey what are you doing out here" she asked "just thinking' they sat out there a few minutes. When Fred finally spoke

"So, I decided I'm going to text Hermione, telling her I'll wait for her"

"Why?" Romilda said with anger which threw Fred back a bit "because I love her and I want her back"

"Why…what about….me?" she said in a whisper "what was that?" he said

"I said what about me about us I thought we were making progress," she said

"there's nothing between us never had been"

'don't say that I tried so hard to learn stuff you like so you would notice me!" she covered her mouth the minute those words came out. "What do you mean learn stuff? Did you look up pranks and stuff to try and make me like you!?" Fred was getting mad. Romilda looked away

"Fred I…I like you! I want to be with you why do you think I got flirty in front of you and let Angelina take pictures of me whispering in your ears, I did so she can show Hermione. I needed to get her out of the picture for us to work I did it for you! For us! So, we can be together were perfect for each other"

Fred was boiling with anger he finally snapped which he never did because he was taught to never raise your voice at women "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT! THERE'S NO US! I DON'T SEE YOU LIKE THAT I SAW YOU AS A FREIND BUT I CAN'T EVEN DO THAT ANYMORE!"

"Why can't we be together I'm so much better the granger! She's plain and boring no personality and not very pretty either or experienced I'd give myself to you every day! Anywhere! Can't you see that"

"And why would I want that? I love Hermione you and no girl could hold a candle to her! Yes, I hooked up a lot with Angelina but that's all it was, I don't look at Hermione that way she made me want to change! I'm sorry Romilda but I don't have any feelings for you never have and definitely never will you're a dime a dozen girl!" just than they heard someone clear the throat it was Katie and George was right there behind

"Katie, what are you doing here?" Fred said "just wanted to see if the whole Romilda thing was true so I can reassure Hermione the truth" she said smiling at Fred she was so proud of him, than she gave Romilda a death glare "and as for you" she said walking up to Romilda she slapped her hard across the face. Romilda held her cheek in shock. "stay away from all of us! You two-bit skank!" she grabbed Fred's hands and George's and drug them out of the house. As they did, they heard clapping.

"okay that was the hottest thing I ever saw" George grabbed Katie into a deep kiss. He loved her so much. "thank but not very lady like but god how she was talking about Hermione and how she wanted to ruin your relationship!" Fred gave Katie a hug "thank you" with that they left thinking of how to get Hermione back with Fred Katie didn't tell them she wanted to get back with Fred that's her best friend and there's some things you don't tell.

It was Sunday and Hermione's mom had to stay another day. She knew her mom would be mad because it's going to be emotional but she needed to see his grave, she called harry they were texting early and he was bored at home. He was on his way to come get her and take her. He finally arrived

'Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Not really but I need to I need to do this"

"okay" with that they headed to the cemetery. It was a thirty-minute drive they finally reached it and Hermione was getting emotional. "you want me to go with you?" harry asked she just shook her.

"okay I'll be ready to come get you when you're ready just text or call"

"thank you harry" with that harry drove away and she headed to the tombstone she had her notebook with her. It took a good 5 minutes to get to it she finally found it she laid out a blanket and sat down

"hi daddy, sorry I haven't come a visited, I just didn't have the courage and I'm sure you can tell from heaven that I really messed things up especially with Fred, I don't know why I get so scared about what will happen, I feel so lost, I can't find the music and I'm sorry for that I really want it back but I feel it died with you I know that's stupid but it's how I feel, I miss you so much I want you back daddy I'm sad but I'm so mad at you for leaving us for leaving me! How could you do that to mom and me! I still needed you"

Hermione started letting it all out the anger, sadness of everything her dad and with Fred. After a good cry she felt a weight lifted she let it all out. Everything started to become clearer. She stayed for another thirty minutes writing down lyrics that started to come to her. She finally texted harry saying she was ready she kissed her father's grave "thank you daddy". Then she left to meet harry.

Fred kept staring at his phone thinking what he should text Hermione it needed to be perfect he would write text something but then delete he didn't feel it was good enough. Katie George and him sat around throwing ideas around. They decided to give it a break their brains were getting tired plus George and Katie wanted alone time. Fred was sitting outside he looked up the sky it was clear night tomorrow the rain will come. He decided he was just going to take the bullet and text Hermione

Hey it's me, I know you said you needed space and I respect that I just want you to know I'm here I'm not going anywhere I'll always wait for you. I love you Hermione
