A/N: What up people of the net! Sorry I haven't updated in a long while but I was busy with some small jobs, saving up for a computer and I'm almost there. Anyway I'm a little disappointed that not many people reviewed the last chapter, was it that bad? I edited a bit because I reread it and found that I missed the first paragraph and needed to add a small detail at the end. I'll meet you at the bottom.

Since that time in the sewer, Peter rarely left Wendy's side; he didn't explain why he did, nobody but Wendy questioned it, although that didn't stop Kyle from shooting glances.

Peter's complexion seemed to be getting better, he wasn't as gray at least; in fact his hair is lighter, becoming blonde and more curly. At first it was subtle but them everyone began to notice, especially the pirates.

You may be wondering, reader, how the pirates noticed, well remember that moss that has been growing, they're weeds and shrubs now. A sure sign that Peter is coming back. A few even claim they heard a crow echoing through the streets.

This annoying Hook to no end, unable to figure out why Peter was reviving; he had some pirates check the old hide outs they had blundered in the past, the Lost Kids never went back to the compromised area.

"Cap'n?"

Hook looked up with a scowl.

Smee stepped into the room. "You have a guest here."

"Send him away, pass him to someone else, or what not. I don't want to disturbed."

Smee wrung his hands nervously, "But cap'n, she says she won't see anyone else and won't leave until she does."

Hook's scowl deepened, the skanks in this city should've given-up a long time ago. "Still send her away. I'm not interesting in a 'good time,'"

"Um, she doesn't want a 'good time,' she's here about Pan, sir."

That got his attention.

"Bring her in."

Smee disappeared behind the door and came back with a Lost Kid, he could tell from the rags she was wearing. It's a wonder how she survived walking through the front door without getting shot down.

"Well, what do you know of Pan?"

"Straight to the point I see, and I thought you know how to treat a lady," she sassed.

Hook raised a brow and gave her an impatient look.

The girl swallowed, "Sorry, old habit. Pan's coming back; you are dying to know why, I can see it in your face." He nodded. "Well you have Wendy to thank for that."

Hook's eyes flashed, using a lot of will power not to jump up and torture the girl for information; he was tempted to do it too, the office was that boring.

She smiled, pleased that he remembered. Even though it was a different Wendy than before but was causing as much damage as the last one, if not more.

"And what of Miss Wendy? I would have suspected she be an old prune or dead by now."

"This is not the Wendy you remember, Hook. I doubt it's a reincarnation but somehow she's getting Peter to stop moping and has him following her around like a sad puppy. Pathetic," the girl scoffed.

A spark of a thought entered Hook's mind, this Lost Kid was jealous; just like a certain fairy he used to know. He inwardly sighed, loved does make people blind.

Another spark, this time igniting the fuel and causing gears to turn like an old engine coming back to life; a plan was forming, just waiting to happen.

"And what, pray tell, do you want me to do about it?" asked Hook, keeping his face neutral.

"Get rid of her," she hissed.

Hook grinned inwardly, the game is about to start all over again.

Down below in the Lost Kids' hide away, Wendy was beginning to feel stares of the Lost Kids on her, mostly they were on Peter but he ignored them. Actually, when he was in a good mood, he would strike a pose for them or something silly like that; he seem to lavish in the attention.

Sometimes, when the Lost Kids were feeling down with a job gone wrong, Peter would try to lift their spirits. That's what Wendy like best about him, always able to draw out a smile.

Wendy felt a tap on her shoulder, turning around; there was the girl that threatened her when she first arrived. Ash, she believed her name was, smiled.

"Hey, I got a favor to ask you," said Ash, sweetly.

"Sure, what is it?" asked Wendy.

"There is something happening in a few, want to watch?"

Wendy knitted her brow. "That isn't a favor, that's an invite."

Ash brushed away the correction, "Whatever, so ya coming?"

Wendy thought for a moment, something on a subconscious level was telling her not to trust Ash. How could that be? Ash was a Lost Kid and there was an unsaid rule that the Lost Kids look out for each other.

She nodded.

Ash smiled and there was an odd glint in her eyes that almost made Wendy rethink about going, almost.

Ash led the way out and at one of the exits; Wendy looked back, wondering where Peter was and if he'll be okay.

"Come on, at the speed your going we're not gonna make it," said Ash.

Wendy quickly turned and caught up to Ash. "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise?" was all she received.

Navigating the dark tunnels was beginning to get easier and the smell less bothersome. That seemed sad in Wendy's eyes, that they were forced down underground; she wondered when the next moving day will be.

Lost in thought, Wendy felt someone grab her roughly; she tried to cry out but was muffled by a cloth, her eyes darted left and right. Where was Ash? Was she in the same predicament?"

A cold hook pressed against her cheek, making her look directly in the eyes of her captor; hearing stories about him was one thing, but actually coming face to face with him was another. Then again, stories these days do seem to make Hook a fool. Looking at him with those forget-me-not blue eyes and red suit, this was not a fool you see on TV.

Hook turned Wendy's head to get a good look at her, she definitely looked like the last Wendy; so much so that he wondered if that Lost brat was lying to him about this little girl being a different Wendy.

"Well what do you know, your plan actually worked," said a familiar voice.

"Of course it worked, it was my plan," scowled Hook, turning his head to the voice.

Wendy's eyes widened in surprise, Ash was standing with the pirates; not tide down, not restrained, just standing there with a triumphant look.

"Now, my dear, it's time to come along and take her along too. Oh don't give me that look, you should've saw this coming the moment you bargained with me," said Hook, directed at Ash. She gave a feeble cry as the pirates restrained her. "Take them to their cells; I'll come down to question them personally."

"We had a deal!" screeched Ash.

"That we did, but you mentioned nothing of your own safety; I am a pirate and a man of my word," he smiled as the girls were dragged away.

A/N: Well the characters are coming off weak in my opinion but I'm working on it. Oh and I made a reference to 'Jake and the Neverland Pirates' by saying stories these days make Hook look like a fool, the show is seriously not doing Hook any favors. Sorry but I like my villains to have some fearsome factor instead of a fool; they turned a great character into a sap for pete's sake! Well things can only get worse from here on out, who knows what can happen now... Oh wait, I do! I'll be looking forward to all you lovely reviews! Gilly out!
