HELLO MY AMAZING FLOWER CHILDREN WHO HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR. I AM SO FREAKING PROUD OF YOU! YOU ALL GET INTERNET HIGH-FIVES :)

AND IF YOU'VE EVER SEEN THE MOVIE 'THE ULTIMATE GIFT' AND IN THE END HE MAKES A HOSPITAL FOR KIDS WITH CANCER THAT'S THE KIND OF HOSPITAL THAT MERE IS AT. IT'S REALLY NOCE AND PRETTY AWESOME AND HAS LITTLE HOUSES ATTACHED TO EVERY HOSPITAL ROOM SO THAT'S WHERE KATNISS'S FAMILY WILL BE STAYING.

I DON'T OWN ANYTHINGGGGGGGG.

I've been to this hospital before last time Mere was in the hospital. But that was when she was getting better. Now I don't know what is even going on.

Mom talks to the nurse at the front counter.

"Were here to stay with Meredith Leeg." Mom says.

The nurse nods. Her name tag says Cressida. "Okay. She's in room 216."

"Thank you." Mom says and takes the pass.

"Oh, ma'am. We've started this new YouTube channel where we video tape family and friends reunite with their sick loved ones." The nurse holds up the camera. "Do you mind if I film a little."

"I guess not." Mom says, she's so tired, I can tell. She's got bags under her eyes and her hair is in a messy ponytail.

The nurse smiles. "Thank you."

We follow her up the elevator and then down a hallway. The nurse turns the camera on and Mom opens the door.

Prim, Lindley and I trip over each other trying to get to the hospital be first.

Mere's face lights up when she sees us. We run over and hug her. Beth joins in on the group hug and we're all crying and laughing at the same time. Once we've straitened up I notice the nurse is gone but I don't care.

I sit on the edge of Mere's bed, Prim and Lindley crowd at the foot and Beth sits on the other side.

"You guys came!" Mere says. She looks sickly pale and she has purple circles under her eyes. Aunt Susan looks like she's been crying as she talks to Mom.

"Of course we did." I tell her.

The steady beeping of the machines and the sterile smell make me feel claustrophobic.

There are three bedrooms and a bathroom in this hospital room. It's nice that we can stay here with her but it really sucks she has to be in a bed for most of our visit.

"It's not that big of a deal, really, it's not. Just another round of chemo and I'm out of here." Mere says. I think she is only saying this because Lindley looks like she's going to cry. But in Mere's eyes I can tell deep down she is trying to believe it, too. I force myself to smile and nod.

Beth sighs, "Too bad, you were trying to grow your hair out."

"Aww, come on. Mom says I can get extensions once my hair gets a little longer. It'll fall out then grow back. No worries." Mere runs her hand over her fluffy brown hair.

"Mom didn't say that!" Beth laughs.

"Oh, well maybe she did and maybe she didn't. But you can't say no to this face." Mere makes a puppy-dog face.

Lindley seems to have calmed down a bit and she laughs. She makes a puppy-dog face back.

We all start talking about random stuff when Elsie comes out of one of the rooms.

"What's going on?" She says as she tosses her brown curly hair over her shoulder.

Beth looks over. "Katniss, Prim and Lindley are here,"

"Why?" Elsie narrows her eyes.

"Because we can." I say.

Lindley jumps off the bed and hugs Elsie. Elsie rolls her eyes and hugs her back.

Once we're settled in one of the rooms with two queen beds, Beth and I in one and Prim and Lindley in the other, my phone buzzes.

I guess it's Madge, asking where I am. But it is not. It's Peeta. I almost ignore it. Almost.

Peeta: I'm sorry.

I don't know what to say. I decide it's time to go to Mere and Beth. They'll definitely know what to do.
