CHAPTER 76

Sei had been awake the whole time, but just couldn't be asked to get up. He heard the front door open and could here Gen and Ryoma talking. He laid there feeling at peace. He still didn't want to go down stairs after being caught by Tomo.

Hearing foot steps coming up the stairs he relaxed even more wondering who it was. It wasn't until he heard his door open and close could he guess it was Ryoma by the fact that the boy always tried to keep noise to a minimum when he entered someone's room and they were asleep. Well, unless he was trying to wake them up, he would then not care at all if he was creating a noise or not.

He decided to stay still to see what the boy would do. He couldn't really see since his eyes were closed, but he could still hear and feel. He felt the bed dip as the boy sat next to him on the side of the bed. He could feel the cat getting closer to him. He always wondered about Ryoma's way of thinking about things. He could hear and feel the cat's breath on his face. His senses were telling him that Ryoma was very close to him right now. One of the boy's hands went and rested on his cheek. He leaned into it feeling some warmth.

His eyes shot open when he felt soft lips press against his. He couldn't react. Just stay completely still knowing that if he move it would cause the boy to run away. At the same time he wanted to move his lips in time with Ryoma's. He was probably grateful that the cat had closed his eyes otherwise this could of been very awkward.

As soon as Ryoma touched lips with Sei's, he melted. He couldn't understand. It felt so different than when he kissed Inui. Even if the other wasn't reacting it just felt right. He felt a shiver go down his spin. He wanted more and so with that he stuck his tongue in the others mouth.

Sei had to tried not to smile. The boy was a complete rookie. He couldn't blame him of course. In fact it just made things more interesting and that much sweeter. When he felt the boy stick his tongue in his mouth he thought it was probably time to react back. So he let his and the boy's tongue rub together. He could feel the boy slightly stiffen at the fact that he was replying to the boy's advances.

Ryoma felt terrified when Sei started to kiss back. He opened his eyes to see the others still closed. 'Is he still asleep?' The cat felt his tongue being stroked and moaned. Relaxing and letting the arm that was supporting him drop so he was still by the side of Sei, but was now leaning of his chest slightly.

Sei heard and felt the moan coming from the boy. God, he wanted to try make Ryoma do that noise again. He could feel the weight on his chest increase knowing the cat was really getting into this. Sei brought his arms up and wrapped them round Ryoma waist. He knew the boy was going to stop soon and he wanted to make sure that he had no way of running afterward. Sei opened his eyes to see golden ones. It was now time to face the music.

Ryoma pulled back gasping. He tried to get up, but found Sei had a death grip round his waist. He rolled trying to get the other to let go. He wanted to run and hide. He was so embarrassed. Instead he now found himself laying on his side with his back to Sei chest. Both of the blunettes legs had wrapped round the boy's so he couldn't struggle as much. His arms still firmly holding onto the child to keep him in place. He buried his head into the back of the boy's.

"Ryo-Chan..." He felt the boy go even more tense then when he first got caught. "So, was I better than Inui?"

"Huh?" The cat was expecting him to have the same kind of reaction Mitsu did when the boy accidently let the words 'I love you' slip from his mouth, but instead he wanted to know if he was better than someone else. "Umm..." Ryoma had no idea how to react. "They were both different, but I liked yours better." Sei rubbed his face into the cat's clothed neck and smiled.

"That's good to hear." Sei knew the boy was still embarrassed and so he changed to subject. "So anything happen today?" He felt the boy shift. "Ryo..." He asked as if the worst thing had happened.

"I... I confessed." Sei eyes went wide. 'Confessed!' He shouted in his mind. "I didn't mean to. It just came out. Now their trying to get me to say it again, but I'm just keep telling them that I said colourful. I don't think they believe me though." 'Who is this person?' Sei's mind was coming up with so many conclusions. From the girl that Ryoma had once asked to kiss to the loud unibrow. 'Are we going to lose our Ryo-Chan?' Trying to calm his heart rate he swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat.

"Ryo, who did you confess to?" His stomach twisted. He wanted to know, but at the same time he didn't. He didn't get an answer straight away and could feel the boy holding his hands which had tightened round his waist. He heard a whisper. "Sorry Ryo-Chan, I can't hear you?"

"I said Kunimitsu." He spoke louder and then turned red.

"Wait... To Mitsu?" He watched as the cat's head bobbed up and down. "Oh, thank god!" The cat finally managed to push himself up so he was sitting and looked at Sei in alarm.

"What! What do you mean 'thank god'?" Sei looked up to the boy and smiled. "You shouldn't be thanking god, this is just terrible."

"Well, what's so bad at confessing to Mitsu? At least you didn't say it to a stranger. It could of been a pervert or a stalker. Or maybe, in a worst case scenario, a woman." He watched as the boys nose scrunched up at the mention of saying that to someone of the opposite gender. He didn't mind them he just hated the squealing that came with it.

"Yeah, but if it was a stranger I would probably never see them again. I see Kunimitsu everyday."

"You know, I'm guess you made Mitsu very happy when you said that." Ryoma just looked at him with surprise. "You know Ryo-Chan, maybe you should let others in more than you already do. You never know you might find out more things about them if you do." Sei watched as the cat shoulder slumped in defeat.

"How do I do that? There are something's I don't want others to find out." The cat started to think hard about the things he never wants to happen. 'I never want them to find out I've killed people. I never want them to know that I'm already being brave just by letting them in as much as I have. I never want them to see me as a monster. I never want to let them see the me I was before, but I want them to stay with me because I don't want to live without them.'

"Well, to start with you can always call him Mitsu and not Kunimitsu. I'm sure he would like that." Ryoma's cheeks turned pink slightly. Sei sat up and brought the boy into his arms. He hid the smile that wanted to break out on his face. He was proud of Ryoma. After all the cat was trying with them whether he realized it or not.

Downstairs Syu had brought Yuuta into the kitchen and they sat down at the table. All there tennis equipment had been placed in the cupboard under the stairs.

"Ahh, So your Yuuta Fuji. It's nice to meet you. I was surprise to hear Ryoma was the one to invite you. You must of made a good impression on him." The younger Fuji smiled. In his opinion he didn't even get a choice in the matter. He just hoped Mizuki wouldn't be disappointed when he told him that he found out nothing. Even if he does find out something he wouldn't tell the other knowing it wouldn't be fair on Ryoma, Syusuke or any of the others that lived there. "I advise you though. We are having beef curry so you will need to guard your plate if you want to eat anything." Yuuta gave him a look of disbelief.

"Why?" This was confusing him. He looked to his brother when he heard him chuckle.

"Ryo-Chan has a talent for eating other peoples meals especially if it contains cow." They stopped when they saw Mitsu walked in. "Something wrong?"

"Where's the Ponta?" Tomo went to a cupboard and moved a container. Behind it was about four cans of the cats favourite drink. Giving one to Mitsu he closed the door making sure they were well hidden first. "Thanks." He lifted the can and opened it. The can made the fizzing sound and not a second later they heard stomping from upstairs. It didn't take long for the cat to be at the kitchen door.
