Screams echoed around beacons infirmary, nurses and doctors working as fast as they could to hold their patient down, barely keeping his limbs from moving as another scream erupted from his throat.
"Hurry up and give him the sedative!" the doctor yelled, trying to keep the blonde teens arm from striking out at one of the nurses helping him. "I already did doctor, it's not working" the nurse yelled, over the blondes scream, her eyes widening as he forcefully turned to the right, blood spraying form his spine as a leathery bat wing exploded forth.
"What the hell is going on" the doctor yelled in confusion, watching as another wing sprouted on the opposite side of the teens spine, curling around his body as another scream ripped from his throat. "What kind of Faunus goes through this sort of change" the doctor mumbled as the boy spine arcs, his once broken bone resetting on their own as another scream escaped him.
"Damn it, try to get him into the restraints, I need to see the girl" the doctor yelled as the nurses moved on his order. Across the infirmary, another set of nurses worked to stem the blood flow from another blonde, working as best they could to help her aura heal the gaping wound in her chest.
"Whets the situation?" the doctor asked, examining the wound as the nurses worked as quickly as they could. "We're doing what we can, but it's not looking good, her heart was cut and no amount of aura is sealing it, she won't make it" the nurse informed him as the doctor growled.
"Damn it, I'm not losing this one, get me another aura healer in here now!"the doctor roared as a nurse rushed out of the room.
"Come on king, fucking wake up!" a hollow voiced roared as Glenn felt a switch kick collide with the side of his face. "Primus damn it!"Glenn cursed as he held his face, his vision blurry as he tried to sit up.
"What's going on?" he asked, shaking his head as he found himself sitting in the frozen desert inside his mind. "Your being transformed into a devil child" Albion's voice spoke as the blonde turned to see the ice dragon sitting a few meters away.
"I am, but, why am I in here?" Glenn asked, looking at the old dragon in confusion. "Its because the change is way more painful this time" another voice spoke as Glenn turned to see the pale version of himself leaning against a large ice blue cleaver.
"Thanatos" Glenn snarled, trying to climb to his feet to attack the demon. Only to fail as he fell flat on his back. "Don't get ahead of yourself king, I'm only here to keep you alive" Thanatos said as Glenn narrowed his eyes at the spirit of death.
"What do you mean?" He asked as Albion sighed. "the evil pieces are changing your body to a devil again, but without your master to apply magic the change is destroying and remaking your body" Albion explained.
"Why is this happening now?" Glenn asked as Albion turned to glare at Thanatos. "It needs to be done king, you either survive this, or your queen dies with you" Thanatos said as Glenn eyes widened.
"You fucking bastard, you killed Yang!" the blonde roared, leaping to his feet as Thanatos smirked. "She's not dead yet king" Thanatos replied as he stepped back, avoiding the blonde fist. "OF course she is, you fucker, no one here could survive a sword through their heart!" Glenn roared.
"Not unless they are reincarnated" Thanatos said as Glenn froze. "What" he asked, lowering his arms as Thanatos chuckled. "You want to save her, you're going to have to turn her" Thanatos said as the blonde stared at him in disbelief.
"You did this on purpose" he mumbled as Thanatos smiled. "You need to be ready for what's coming king, and to do that you'll need strong people at your side, your evil pieces can be mutated and used on your girls, but you need to survive becoming a devil first" the spirit of death explained before turning to Albion.
"When he wakes up, supply him with enough energy to access my powers to do what needs to be done" Thanatos said as he started walking towards the pyramid in the distance. "I will, but you will answer for what you have done this day" Albion growled as the pale Glenn gave him a lazy wave over his shoulder.
"Albion, what happens now" Glenn asked, turning to his dragon as the heavenly dragon frowned. "I will not lie child, this will not be easy, you will need to take your own evil pieces and implant them into the girl, I can help channel your demonic magic for this but you will need to keep yourself awake for the ritual" Albion explained.
"Just another day in my life huh" Glenn mumbled as the ice dragon smiled. "Yes it is child, now be ready, I will forcefully awaken you, but you will need to move quickly" Albion explained as he raised a claw towards Glenn.
"Let's go" he said, feel his body fading as Albion's energy washed over him.
IN the infirmary, the nurses watched in shock as Glenn's eyes snapped open, his body bolted upright as the restraints holding him broke. "Sir, calm down, you need to rest while we work" one of the nurses said as Glenn ignored them.
"Where, where is she" Glenn growled his chest burning in agony as wisps of energy leaking from his skin. "What is going on, get back in the bed boy!" the doctor yelled, only to be ignored as Glenn fell from the bed, ice blue scales growing across his arms and shins as his claw ripped into the titled floor.
"Where is Yang!" Glenn growled, the wisps of energy flicking as the visage of a cloak person stood over the blonde, a dull metal mask covering their face as a line of coffins floated behind them. "What in oums name" the doctor said as the blonde and the faded demon slowly climbed to their feet, the boy face twisted in pain, matched by the metal masks expression.
"Where is she!" Glenn snarled towards the doctor. "Doctor, doctor!" a nurse screamed as the frightened man jumped in surprise. "What is it now!" he yelled, stepping back away from the demonic blonde in front of him.
"The girl, she, she's dead" the nurse said as the man froze. "Where is she human!" Glenn roared, stepping towards the doctor. "You can't..." he was cut off as the scales claws of both the demon and the boy grabbed him and lifted him off the ground.
"Tell me where my mate is now!" he snarled the shard of his mask growling across his left eyes, his pupil changing to a golden yellow. "She, she's in the bed at the end of the infirmary" the doctor said, struggling to breath as the blonde demon dropped him.
"Move!" Glenn roared, ripping through the curtains around the hospital bed as he moved towards the bed which held Yang. The blonde demon froze as he saw her unmoving body, his head lowering slightly as the nurses grew silent.
"I...I'm sorry, we, we did what we could" one of the nurses said as Glenn slowly approached Yang's bed, his scaled hands slowly moving towards his chest. "No...I wasn't fast enough" he said before his claws ripped into his own flesh.
The nurses watched in horror as the blonde forcefully ripped something out of his own body, a bloody covered chess piece held between his fingers. No one could speak as the blonde held the chess piece above Yang, the glowing red evil piece pulsing to life in response.
Ignoring the pain in his chest, Glenn released the evil piece, watching as he floated above Yang's unmoving body, wisps of red demonic magic slowly coiling around her body as the red symbol of the Gremory family formed under her.
"I, Glenn Skellington, in the name of the house of Gremory, resurrect you, Yang Xiao Long, as my rook...with your new life...be delighted" Glenn chanted as the pawn piece morphed to resemble a rook before slowly sinking into Yang's chest.
"What is going on in here!" Glynda yelled as she threw the doors to the infirmary open, her eyes widening as she spotted Glenn with a demonic figure standing over him, followed by the red glowing body of Yang.
Before she could speak, Yang's eyes snapped open, the gaping hole in her chest healing almost instantly as she looked around the room in confusion. Her eyes landed on Glenn, his half masked face smiling down at her as his visible eye glistened with tears.
"You're alive" he mumbled slowly falling to his knees as the doctors stared in awe at what the young man had done in front of them. Yang blinked in confusion, watching as the demon around Glenn faded away, the scales around his arms and legs receding into his skin as the shard of his mask shattered.
Before she could ask him, his face landed on his thigh, his body going limp beside her.
"Okay, what happened?" the brawler asked as she looked between her knocked out boyfriend as the stunned nurses and doctor.
"I think he's waking up" a voice said as Glenn felt himself waking up again. Groaning in discomfort, Glenn rested his hand on his forehead, trying to keep his headache at bay as numerous voices started speaking around him.
"Glenn, your awake, what happened" a familiar high picked voice asked quickly. "Give him some space Ruby" another voice reprimanded the other one. "Why don't we calm down and let him speak first" another voice added as Glenn finally opened his eyes.
And was greeted with the sight of five girls standing around his infirmary bed, Yang sitting to his right followed by Blake and Weiss while Pyrrha and Ruby stood on the right side of the bed. "What happened, the worlds kind of spinning" Glenn grumbled as Weiss scuffed at his attitude.
"What happened, you preformed an impossible feat while injured you stupid blonde" she snapped as Glenn's eyes widened. "Yang!" he yelled, startling the girls as said blonde smiled, taking his hand in hers.
"I'm fine dragon boy, but I do have to ask, what did you do?" she asked, glancing over her shoulder at something on her back. Glenn followed her gaze, blinking in confusion as he noticed the pair of leather bat like wings sprouting from her lower back.
"That...is a long story" Glenn said as the five girls looked at him, expecting an answer no matter what. "Yang, just don't freak out okay" Glenn said as the girl looked at her oddly. "I won't, but can you tell me what you did, am I a faunus now?" she asked.
"No...you're a devil, a reincarnated devil to be precise" Glenn said as the girls around him froze at his words. "I didn't have much of a choice, you were already dead and the only way for you to come back was by turning you, so I used one of my own evil pieces to reincarnate you as my rook" Glenn explained as Yang continued to stare at him.
"I know it's not the best thing to lose your humanity, but at least you're alive" he added weakly, waiting for the girl to punch him in the face.
Only to find her arms encircling him, pulling his head into her bountiful bust. "I'm not mad Glenn, you saved my life" Yang whispered, holding him close as Glenn sighed in relief. "So...does that mean you can turn all of us?" Ruby asked, breaking to moment between the two blondes.
"Ruby, learn to read the situation next time" Blake said as Ruby looked at her oddly. "What did I do?" she asked as the other three girls shook their heads. "She does bring up a good point, can you do the same with the rest of us?" Weiss asked as Glenn blinked.
"I didn't think you would be taking this so well" Glenn said as he looked at the fairy like girl in confusion. "It's a valid question" Weiss huffed as she looked away from him. "And if you plan to pursue a relationship with all of us, we should be on equal terms" she added with a light blush dusting across her cheeks.
"What?" Glenn, Blake, Pyrrha, Yang and Ruby asked as the girl glared at them in annoyance. "Besides Ruby, I know the rest of you are thinking the same thing I am, and I'm not going to give up on the one idiot I actually like, I don't plan to be stuck with moronic rich brats for the rest of my life" she said as Glenn blinked at the white styled girls words.
"Wow, the only other person to have taken this as well as you was Raynare" Glenn spoke as Weiss glared at him. "Just answer the question, and when I meet those others girls I will be speaking to them about how they have been treating you" Weiss snapped.
"Okay, okay" Glenn said, waving off the angry girl as she backed up slightly. "I can't change all of you, I'm not a king of devil standards, the evil piece I used was one of the pieces that my own master used to change me into a devil, I was worth four pawns and a mutation piece by the evil piece system" Glenn explained.
"Then how did you change Yang into your rook" Pyrrha asked as Glenn rubbed the back of his head. "That would be Thanatos's doing" he said as the girls stared at him with wide eyes. "How are you in contact with that...thing that almost killed you!" Weiss yelled.
"He's a part of me, I don't have a choice we are connected by our souls still are" Glenn replied as the white clade girl looked at him with a narrowed eyed glare. "We will be speaking about this later, but for now you will rest, the rest of us will be going to pick you up food while you inform Yang of everything that has changed about her" Weiss said as she marched out of the room.
"When did Weiss start taking the lead?" Yang asked as her fellow blonde shrugged. "Don't ask me, I just woke up, and now I'm going to have to teach you to fly and use magic" he sighed as he wondered how the blonde would take to demonic skills.
In another universe, a certain red haired devil sighed as she felt her connection to her lover falter before it split in two. "What is that dumb blonde doing now" Rias grumbled as she thought about her wayward pawn.
"Oh, is something going on with Glenn?" her black haired queen asked as she looked up from the book she was reading. "He's doing something with his evil pieces, I just hope he comes back soon, Blair and Erza are getting restless waiting" Rias replied as she thought about the magical cat and the red headed angel.
"You know Glenn, he's come back to us before, I mean look at how everything turned out with that kidnapping for that online game went" Akeno said in amusement. "He was stuck in a hospital bed for two years" Rias deep panned as Akeno giggled.
"And he came back, he'll do it again, I know my boyfriend" Akeno said smugly as Rias glared at her. "Just because you were the only one to have slept with him doesn't mean your ahead of me!" Rias snapped as AKeno giggled in reply.
"But it means I've been closer to him, I wonder if he'll bring back any girls form this trip" the violet eyed girl said. She was honestly worried about her lover, but she was confident he would come back, he always does in the end.
"Yo Rias, it's time for school, where are the girls!" a voice yelled as the two girls turned to see the black haired pawn walking down the stairs. "Their having breakfast Sean, how's Rei been doing?" Rias asked.
"She's been fine, better since now that the whole thing with the dragons eyes has calmed down" Sean replied as he fixed his uniform. "I hope it didn't affect Glenn while he's been gone" he added as he thought about his best friend.
and that my friends and fellow authors is the end of my story...at leats until volume three of rwby returns in the next few weeks, but from here I will be focusing on highschools dragons and maybe starting up some of my older fics like demon online and even cyber wolf
