After dinner that night the boys and I were all sprawled out in the common room.
"Let's play a game!" Miles said, rubbing his belly with one hand, and mine with the other
I giggled, "What game, Mi?"
"Truth or dare!" He beamed, "Go get your roommates!"
I slid off the couch, rubbing my completely full belly all the way up.
"Hey, want to play a game with us?" I asked, leaning on the door frame
"What game?" Daphne questioned, "Last time I played with them I had to snog a second year!"
"Truth or dare. Come on!" I shouted, pulling both of them by the hand and down the stairs despite their protests
"Alright! Get in a circle!" Miles commanded, pushing the coffee table off to the side and placing a bottle on the floor
We all sat cross legged on the plush black rug between the sofas
"I spin first!" Miles claimed, making us roll our eyes. He spun the bottle and it landed on who else, but little ole me!
Here goes another eye roll at my lack of luck.
"Right. Truth or dare, love?" Miles smirked, rubbing his hands together evily
"Dare." I smirked back, tucking my feet under my butt
"Ah! Lovely. Hm, I dare you..." He tapped his chin thoughtfully, "To use that Waddiwasi charm we learned today on Oliver Wood. Then, shout '10 points to slytherin' as you come back."
My eyes widened and my mouth hung low. Seriously? My palm met my face.
"And what happens if I don't?"
"Loser has to streak through the Great Hall!" Cassius roared, earning smirks and nods of approval all around from the boys
"Fine," I grunted. "Come on, you arseholes."
They insisted that I should walk a good pace infront of them. You know, so nothing looks suspicious. *Snort* Yeah right. Because one slytherin walking ten feet infront of a group of Slytherins doesn't look bad at all.
I was close to the main stairs when I spotted Gryffindor's famous duo.
"Oi! Twins!" The Weasley boys spun around, grins forming on their faces when they spotted me
"Ahh, our favorite chaser." One said, slinging an arm over my shoulder
"What can we do for you?" The other followed suit
I smiled sweetly and wrapped my arms around their waists, "Where's Oliver?"
"Erm, George, wasn't he down by the lake not long ago?" The one on my left asked
"Hmm, I believe so." His brother replied
"The lake." They said together. I loved that.
I thanked the boys and continued on my journey. I carefully slid out of the giant wooden front doors and saw Oliver Wood tossing a quaffle around with another guy.
I heard my fellow Slytherins doing their best to remain quiet behind me, as they assumed their positions at the door.
Looking back, Miles gave me two thumbs up along with a lop-sided grin.
I sighed, deciding on hiding behind a tree for the time being.
Pulling my wand from my bra, yes it is a rather handy place. I saw a small pile of pebbles not far from me and decided to use those.
"Waddiwasi!" I spoke softly, careful of him not to hear me
I pointed my wand to the pebbles then to Oliver.
"Ten points to Slytherin!"
My face was burning. I slapped both hands over my face and ran toward the entrance
Oh dear, this soo bad! Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad!
I basically just declared a prank war on Oliver Wood and it wasn't even my fault!
He's going to try and ruin me, I just know it. Especially if he has the Weasley boys on his side. My brother told me loads about them.
We scurried back to the common room, they were all laughing and my face was still burning..
"Your turn!" Marcus choked out, clutching his sides. I snatched the bottle and spun it.
Cassius.
"Well, well, well. Truth or dare?" I grinned. I was going to get them back for what they just started.
He smirked a little and said, "Truth."
My eyebrows scrunched together. Pussy.
"Fine." I pouted. "Hmm.. if there was a new law, right, and it said that only men could have kids and not ladys, who's babies would you have?"
*clap clap clap clap clap*
I deserve a pat on the back just for the look of horror on his face!
"Well?" Miles placed his hands on his hips and began tapping the side of his foot to the ground expectantly.
"Uh, famous or not famous?" Cassius questioned,
"In this room." My grin was ear to ear. I was too proud of myself right now.
He glared in my direction and mumbled something under his breath.
"Excuse me?" I said sweetly, "What was that?"
"I said Graham!" he snapped, crossing his arms and stretching his legs out
Miles and I gasped at the same time, "WHAT?"
"Look at this face.." I squished Mi's cheeks together, "How could you deny him?"
Cassius flipped us off, and we burst into a fit of giggles, clinging onto one another for support
"My turn!" Cassius spun and it landed on Kara
After a few hours of purple hair, filling an unsuspecting 5th years bed with worms, giving Marcus a makeover, a nearly naked Kara, finding out Graham and Daphne like eachother and sending them into a broom closet, we were all getting tired. Well, mainly I was. I'm usually in bed before 10:30, people!
"Alright lad, truth or dare?" Marcus asked Miles
I rested my head on Cassius's shoulder, dozing off slightly
"Dare." He eagarly replied, smirking
"Kiss McGonagall."
Each of our heads snapped up, waiting on Miles reaction.
"N-no way.." He stuttered, "I-I can't!"
We all smirked at one another, "Looks like you're running through the Great Hall in your knickers tomorrow night."
I stomped into the common room, throwing my Nimbus 2000 to the floor and paced infront of the fireplace.
Jessica sodding Cesari! The girl who avoided me like the plague, just gave me two black eyes!
"Wood," Her brother, Steve stood grasping my chin and looking at both of my eyes. "What happened to your face?"
"Your bloody sister!" I howled, earning a few stars from the people around us
He chuckled in response, "Which one?"
I glared in his direction then took a seat in the arm chair closest to me, balling up my hands.
"Jessica." I growled, "She.."
Here goes what happened, a mere twenty minutes ago.
You're probably wondering why I, Oliver Wood, have a sudden distaste for Jessica Cesari.
You see, Rob and I were tossing the quaffle around in front of the black lake, trying to come up with a new play to use against her in our first match.
Then, out of NO WHERE, might I add, I have atleast thirty pebbles shooting at my eyes!
Now, how do I know it was her, you ask?
Well! For one, I heard her scream.
Second, she ran away with her hands on her face.
Third, we all learned the Waddiwasi charm today. It makes objects fly at high speed to where ever the person wants it to go.
Fourth, her bum. Yes, I know I shouldn't know a girl by the size and shape of her bum but, that's not what's important right now!
She didn't even apologize! She just ran off and shouted '10 points to Slytherin!'
Her brother was doubled over, laughing his head off at my expense.
I just continued to scowl at him.
She sends rocks to break my face and this is all just a laugh?
"You know what this means, right?" He choked out
I narrowed my eyes, and he chuckled on. "This means war!"
Well, shit..
I need to get her back.
Fast.
What to do, what to do..
Last time we spoke, she was deathly afraid of clowns and sea creatures..
I've never quite understood that last fear, considering her favorite animals are sharks and crocodiles.
Bit of a weird one, she is.
But, no, I can't go that far. Don't want to traumatize the poor girl.
Think, think, think..
I've got it!
"Where's the twins?" I smirked, reaching down for my broom.
I slid my hands up and down the smooth mahogany wood as if to apologize for how I just treated it moments ago..
Steve narrowed his eyes, "Uh-uh" He tutted. "I can't be on your side."
He shook his head, threw his hands behind it and crossed his feet over the coffee table.
"You wouldn't exactly be on my side if you just let me know where they were."
He shook his head again. "Nope, sorry lad. Can't help you. I have to live with her on breaks and I'd rather not have to sleep with one eye open."
With that, he collected his belongings and left for the dorms.
Great..
If I were a Weasley, where would I be?
A smile was on my face from the moment I woke up. My morning work out's became more fufilling now that I actually have a goal to work for.
On top of that, the school week was finally over! It was Saturday. Do you know what that means? Quidditch and food! All day. That's all I want in life.
I gasped and hid behind one of the trees as I watched Oliver Wood strut out of the castle with his teammates. Memories of last night filled my head and I knew it was only a matter of time before he returned the favor.
As soon as he was out of sight, I crept into the castle and made a run for my dorms. And being the ninja that I am, only slipped on a freshly mopped floor and attacked a wall with my face.
I sat on the ground for a moment. Sure, my shorts were soaking up the floor cleaner. Probably leaving a large mark in the shape of my bum, but who cares? Karma is punishing me! Karma's mad that I hit Oliver with pebbles and now I was just two seconds away from eating stones!
Shaking my head, that thought obviously wasn't true. I was clumsy before. I also hit Oliver loads of times before this point in time.
I kept my eyes peeled from that point on to my dorm. Having no desire what so ever to have a repeat.
I showered, changed into a pair of grey cotton shorts and a white 3/4 sleeved baseball tee with teal colored sleeves. Sliding some grey slippers over my toes, I threw my hair up in a high ponytail and left to wake my boys up.
Well, just Miles. I've been favoring him lately. Cassius has been a bit of a tosser the last few days because of Cedric.
Their door creaked open and their room was still disgusting.
Boys. *shudders* All of them were still asleep so I tip-toed over to Mi's bed.
He looked so cute when he slept! He was shirtless, lying on his belly with his head deep in his pillow just snoring away.
"Miles!" I shook him gently, pulling up his covers and sliding in beside him.
He groaned a little, mumbled a few words but snaked his arms around me and buried his head in my lap.
"Miles," I sang, massaging his head. "Wake up!"
My hands traveled down his bare back as I kneaded tiny circles into it. He moaned in pleasure and looked up with squinty eyes.
"I love you." He smiled, holding me tighter and adjusting his head on my thigh.
"Nooo," I whined, "Get up! I'm bored! Nobody else is awake."
I stopped his massage and folded my arms defiantly. He bit my leg, making me shriek, "Miles!"
He grinned, pushing himself up to kiss my cheek. "Sorry, wife."
"Wife?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow. He nodded, pulling a tee shirt from his bed post over his head.
"We're married now." He smirked, flipping me off with his ring finger. How could you say no to that proposal?
Cue the eye roll.
"Where's my ring?" I chuckled, mocking his actions. He smacked his forehead in a 'Duh' type of way.
"That's what I forgot! We'll get that later." He walked into the bathroom, leaving me by my lonesome with three sleeping boys.
Hmm, what to do, what to do? As if lightbulbs went off in my head, I pulled out my wand.
I placed a concealment charm on Marcus, only because he was the closest. Then, after telling Miles I'd be right back, I ran for my dorm.
Peering around the room, on shelves and night stands, I found it! I snatched Kara's neon pink nail polish and jetted back to the boys dorm.
Miles was still in the bathroom, singing along with the radio with a muffled mouth, so I started on Marc's free hand.
I was two fingers in on his other hand before he started to stir, so I left it at that. Tucking the tiny bottle into my pocket, I admired his seven perfectly coated finger nails before I moved to Graham.
Now, what should happen to him?
"Miles, I need your help." I grinned, leaning on the bathroom door frame.
He looked to the sky with an annoyed look and sighed, stomping his foot dramatically. "We're married, woman! My name is husband to you!"
Rolling my eyes, I asked, "Are you going to help me or not?"
"What's my name, wife?" He smirked, spitting the remaining foam from his mouth.
I cocked my head to the side. Really, Miles? I sighed, "Husband."
He clapped his hands together happily, "What are we doing, love?"
I smirked. Cass and Graham will be pissed that we're waking them up at 8am on a saturday, but..
You snooze, you lose. Literally.
"I'm not sure yet." I replied, eyeing an unopened choclate frog. Snatching it before Miles could, I opened the box but he ripped it from my hands
"NO!" We screamed as it escaped. Lost in the fabric jungle that was their room.
"We gotta find it!" He shrieked, cupping my face in his hands. I nodded.
We kicked piles of clothes, searched under blankets and in drawers - How a chocolate frog would end up in a closed drawer is beyond me. You'll have to ask Miles.
"Mi! Check under the beds!" He nodded, crawling on his knees to peer under Marc's.
I gripped the side of Graham's mattress and flipped it with him on it. This was a serious search, people! An enchanted choclate frog in the wrong hands is just terrible!
He landed with an 'oomph' and glared at me from the ground. "What the bloody hell are you doing!"
"We're hunting!" I shouted back, picking through piles of shoes with no luck.
Miles must have been inspired because he did the same to Cassius, who chased him out of the room.
"It's gone!" I cried, running into the common room and into Mi's arms, pretending to sob.
"NO!" He gripped both of my shoulders, "We will find that fucking frog!"
We darted back up the stair to their room, but the door was locked.
Miles had both hands on either side of his head, elbows in the air. "It's locked!" He scoffed in surprise
"Where's your wand?" I asked, feeling around my body for mine. No such luck. Not there.
"Under my pillow!" He slid down the door, head in his hands.
"They're gonna get him first!" He was pouting up at me with these big puppy dog eyes.
I slid down next to him. "We've lost him." My head rested on his shoulder and I closed my eyes. Listening to the feint croaks of our delicious friend from the other side of the door.
"Wood," Fred folding his hands, leaning back into his chair, "You do know that our services are going to cost you, yeah?"
We were in the common room this morning, and he had this gimmick going one where he's pretending to be Don Corleone from the muggle Godfather movies.
"We must make you him an offer he can't refuse." George mocked, in the same raspy voice
I rolled my eyes, "I'll pay you."
"We were thinking," Fred leaned his elbows on his knees, "One less day of practice."
My was stern, "You're bonkers."
"I tried," Fred mumbled, shrugging.
"No practice on the weekends!" George said, jumping to his feet. He rubbed his chin, "And, we get to sit out one practice every month."
They twins were grinning from ear to ear. I literally don't know of anyone else to go to for pranks..
"Fine." I shook their hands
"Very good. Follow us." They led me up to their dorms and Fred pulled a small chest from under his bed.
"These-" Fred grinned, "Are some of our best inventions, yet."
George ushered me to sit, "What would you like to happen to our dear Jessica?"
Hmm, I haven't really thought about that.
"Well, she's clumsy. Doesn't pay much attention to anything but food and her quaffle-"
This is going to take a alot more time than I originally thought..
"Well, does she love or hate anything in particular?" George questioned, sorting through the components in the chest.
"Last time we spoke she hated talking about herself, despises pumpkin juice and alcohol, eats anything edible except brussel sprouts, doesn't like the color purple, loves massages-"
"That's enough." Fred nodded, "We'll draw up a few things and find you later."
"See you later, Wood!" They shoved me out and slammed the door in my face.
This better be good.
For the next three hours, I was drew up drafts of possible plays and a brand new work out for Theresa to do if we want any hope at all of catching that snitch first.
"Wood," Two hands belonging to the Weasley boys squeezed my shoulders. "Pick one?"
They held out two cubes, roughly the size of their palms. One red and one green.
Obviously, I picked the red one.
"Bugger," Fred said, rolling his eyes while his brother pumped the air in triumph, "I favored the green one."
"Open it." George urged, as the twins plopped down on either side of me and swung their feet onto the table.
Searching around the cubes perimeter for an opening, I gently pushed the side that looked poked in and pulled the strip of parchment out.
'Chocolate'
I glanced at both boys with a skeptical face. "Chocolate?"
They chuckled, "You'll see soon enough. . Figure we could kill two birds with one stone in this one."
They clapped my back and left after that, leaving me wondering what they were going to make me do and if I really made the right decision asking for their help.
Psh, of coarse I did. I rather have her riled up and trying to physically hurt me than avoiding me.
Miles and I spent the whole morning sulking over the frog that got away..
He and I ate half of my drawer of sweets that my coach and Dad sent me over the past few days of being here.
"You should've just let me eat him!" I groaned, pouring a handful of Bernie Bott's beans in my mouth and forcefully tossed my quaffle at Mi's head.
We were posted up on both couches in the common room, stretched out so nobody else could sit and stuffing our faces, tossing a quaffle back and forth.
It's been like this for the past three hours, and the rest of the guys still have yet to come down.
We gave up the search after we didn't hear croaks after twenty minutes of being at the door, we figured either our treat melted or someone ate him.
We weren't too pleased with either option, really.
"What's yours is mine, wife!" He shouted tossing the quaffle back. I caught it and shoved some more candy in my greedy gob.
I sighed as I swallowed the sweets, "Let's go to lunch. I want some real food." He nodded. We peeled our lazy bums from the sofa and left our empty containers where they sat.
I slid my slippers back over my toes and we made our way to the great hall, having a game of catch on the way and apologizing profusely to the poor students we hit along the way as we ran down the corridors.
Slippers aren't the best shoes to run in, mind you. I slid a few times while running, luckily the wall and the occasional suit of armor caught me everytime.
Miles and I raced into lunch, earning glares from those who were around us as I slid onto the bench catching the quaffle he sent sailing in my direction with both hands.
"Cesari with the save! Yeaaaah!" I roared like the announcers at the matches and mock cheered as I let myself fall to the floor
Miles pulled me up by my free hand and we did our new secret handshake that we only invented an hour ago
We giggled at our silliness and sat down, scooping everything that was within an arm's length on our plates.
"Remind me later to write my mum to get a ring." He said with stray pieces of meat falling from his lips.
"For what?" I asked, my actions mocking his. Soo not lady like.
He groaned while he chewed and swallowed, "Do you not pay attention, woman? We're married!"
I choked a little on my food from giggling at him, but I have no idea if he was serious or not. Deciding the latter, we kept on eating until our belly's ached and the rest of our boys came down.
"You." Miles and I glared at them accusingly at the same time. Eyeing each of the boys up and down while we sipped from our goblets.
"Merlin help me." Graham mumbled, sitting across from me along with the other two.
Miles and I turned on our best impression of a snobby couple and left the great hall, arm in arm and noses in the air.
"We need our wands." I said, tapping Mi's wrist with my free hand. He nodded and smiled.
"Let's take a nap and go down to the pitch when we get up." He suggested, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
I considered the option for a moment, but agreed. "Who's bed is the cleanest that I can sleep in?"
He scrunched his face. "Are you forgetting that I'm your husband? We sleep together."
I raised a brow but allowed him to lead me up to his room.
The dark drapes covered the window and let in barely any light. Miles jumped into his bed after stripping from his shirt and house slippers.
"Well?" He held his arms out wide after pulling the corner of the blanket open so I could join him.
I bit my lip. This could be bad, but I couldn't help myself. He is my 'husband'. Also doesn't hurt that he's utterly adorable..
I kicked my slippers off and climbed in next to him, snuggling into his chest.
He kissed my forehead and wrapped his arms around me. I dozed of quickly to the sound of his heartbeat and heavy breathing..
