The rest of the week passed as slow as ever.

I avoided Oliver as much as I could after the whole pebble incident. I'm sure he's planning my demise as we speak. Cassius kept trying to convince me to not go out with Cedric, even stooping as low as teaming up with my brother - who is a Gryffindor, might I add, to follow me around the school to make sure Cedric doesn't pop out and snog me. But, on the bright side I've devised atleast fourty new plays for the team to try and the boys are in shape.

"Jessica! Where were you? You have to meet Cedric at 11!" Daphne fussed, dragging me up to the girls dormitories

"I was working out.." I said, trying to free myself from her vise grip on my arms, "It's only 8."

I broke free and ran for the bathroom. Quickly showering, I strolled over to my closet.

Since it was a warm day, I decided on a coral colored high waisted skirt that came a few inches above my knee, over a ribbed white tank top with thick straps.

"Hmm.." Shoes or sandals? tough decisions, these are. A moment into chewing on my bottom lip in thought, my eyes landed on a pair of gladiator sandals with gold studs lining each strap.

I slid them on and strapped them up and finished off the look with a tan faux-leather purse and a gold ring with a coral colored gemstone that I placed on my right ring finger.

"Who knew the tomboy had a fashion sense?" Daphne smirked. *Scoff* Excuse me? I AM still a girl. It also helps that I had stylists over the past two years for interviews and such, but let's not give them all the credit.

Cue the sarcastic laugh, "Shut up!"

Taking my make up bag from my top drawer, I slipped into the bathroom.

After concealer, blush, eyeliner and mascara, I was pleased with myself.

"Can we ATLEAST do your hair?" Kara whined, "Pleasee?"

I nodded, rolling my eyes. They squealed in delight and pulled out all types of contraptions

Twenty minutes later, my long hair was in a loose fishtail braid that hung over my left shoulder.

A few pieces of wavy hair fell around my face where my bangs would usually be. I don't want to toot my own horn or anything, buut..

"Beautiful!" Daph smiled, holding out her arm. "Shall we?"

I placed some money and other necessities in my bag then linked arms with the girls.

"What time is it?" I asked as we basically skipped down the halls. Well, I had too! These girls were tall! Both were atleast four or five inches inches taller than me.

"You're early, don't worry." Kara giggled

Uhh, I wasn't asking because of him..

"I'm hungry!" I whined, pulling the pair toward the Great Hall.

It would be just my luck that Cassius and my brother were seated on either side of Cedric at the Hufflepuff table, huh?

"I'll be right back." I groaned, stalking over to the guys and slapping the culprits on the back of their necks

"Leave." I growled, earning a grateful look from Cedric

"Sister,-" Stevie started, but Cass cut him off.

"We were just talking. Giving him a little pre-date advice."

I glared at the two smirking idiots and squeezed in between Cassius and my date.

I pulled Cass's plate infront of me and piled it with sausages and waffles.

"You know we have to leave in less than ten minutes?" Cedric raised a brow, sipping from his goblet.

"She'll finish before then. A glutton, she is!" Stevie smirked, patting him on the back. "Remember what we talked about."

And with that he was off. I continued to stuff my face and even managed to pour syrup every here and there while I glared at my brother's retreating head.

I watch Cassius smirk out the corner of my eye and moments later I felt his hand on my lower back.

"What?" I asked with a full mouth. These two were really pissing me off.

"Aye, not very lady like today, are we princess?"

I gave him a dirty look and plucked his forehead.

"Are you ready to go?" My date's smooth voice inquired.

"Yes," I smoothed out my clothes, took my bag and gripped his arm.

"See you later." I smirked over my shoulder at Cassius who was glaring at our backsides.

I'm definately going to hear about this later. Maybe even for the rest of the week. He holds grudges, you know.

"You look beautiful, by the way. I would have told you earlier, but you're brother and friend would have killed me."

I smiled up at him, "I'm so sorry for them!"

He chuckled a little and led me down the cobblestone path to a few carriages.

It was a short ride to Hogsmeade, overall. He got out first and held his hand out to help me off the carriage.

Cedric Diggory was a true gentleman, I tell you.

"Where are we going first?" I gazed up at him, once again taking his arm in mine.

He hummed in thought then grinned, "You like sweets?"

What kind of question is that?

"I like anything edible, really." I smirked back.

Snorting in amusement he led me to a small shop that was filled with all types of sugary goodness.

Good lord, Merlin finally likes me..

I dragged Cedric to the section that read 'Muggle Sweets' and immediately began searching.

"Ah-ha!" I grinned, holding a container of sour gummy worms in the air, "Found you!"

Cedric raised a questionable eyebrow, "What are they?" Oh, no he didn't..

My mouth dropped open. "You were deprived.." I said shaking my head in disbelief.

He shrugged before pulling me over to pick up a box of chocolate frogs.

"I'll be right back!" I quickly ran over to grab one of the small baskets the store provided for fat arse's like myself, who liked to stock up.

I gave a goofy grin to Cedric, who smirked in amusement as I filled it to the brim with some of my favorite sweets.

Placing the basket in the counter, I pulled out my coin purse to pay, but Cedric shoved it back into my purse.

"I've got it." Was all he said. Uh, no. You can't support my bad habits, .

"Cedric, you cant go out on your first date throwing money around," I bumped him to the side with my hip, "Conserve your swag!"

He was hiding his chortles of laughter behind his hands, so I took the opportunity to pay. And let me tell you, all of this will be worth every galleon, sickle, and knut that I've spent.

He scoffed when I pulled him out of the shop and pushed his bag of chocolate frogs to him. "I'm supposed to pay! I'm the man!"

I raised a brow, clearly uninterested in this argument.

"Oh hush!" I kissed him on the cheek, grinning as his face turned an unusual shade of red.

We were passing a jewelery shop but a necklace caught my eye. It was literally screaming 'I cost more than both of your lives', but that didn't stop me from going in and asking the shop keeper how much it was anyway.

She was delighted when I walked in her shop and had me sign photos for her children. Said she'd even give me her employee discount on the piece of jewelery that cost almost 100 galleons.

I could buy two firebolt's for that price!

Deciding against the impulse buy, I set my sights on a silver toned ring calladagh ring with a emerald stone at the top- Which was less than a fraction of the price.

Pulling out my coin purse again, Cedric smacked it back into my bag.

"I've got it." He looked sternly at me, making me back off with my hands raised in surrender

He handed the woman the money after she applied her discount and we left the shop.

It's kind of sad to think my ring cost less than my sweets, really.

"You didn't have to do that," I tried reasoning

He wouldn't hear nothing of it, though. Simply just covered my mouth with his hand to muffle my protests.

I was released after I licked his palm. Yes, I know. I'm disgusting. I grew up with boys! What do you expect?

Cedric chuckled a little, wiping his wet hand on the back of his trousers.

He looked quite handsome today. Sporting a white v-necked top, denim trousers and white trainers.

You could see his toned chest and arms with no problem.

"I'm hungry," I announced, patting my belly that rumbled right after

We've only been out of the castle for about an hour or two. But, I don't argue when my belly says it's empty.

"Let's eat then," Merlin, his smile is gorgeous.

I couldn't help but feel a pair of eyes on us. So, I inched closer to Cedric. Not out of fear, oh no.

But because it was either Cassius or Stevie who was watching us.

Glancing over my shoulder, my hunch was correct. Cassius was pretending to look at a book outside of the book shop and Stevie wasn't far behind us, a red head clinging to his waist.

I rolled my eyes, walking into the cafe as Cedric held the door for me.

One of the waitresses sat us in a booth at the back, which I was more than happy to take.

My brother and Cass were being a real pain in the arse.

They've spent the past week trailing Cedric and I everytime he would walk me to my lessons or even spoke to each other in the hallways between classes.

Merlin forbid if we did homework together! You had my boys watching on one end and my brother with his friends on the other.

If he got too close one of them would immediately come and whisk me away, saying the reason was 'urgent'. It never was, of coarse. *eye roll*

Was complete bullocks.

"So, how many tattoo's do you have?" He questioned, eyeing my left arm as the woman walked away to get the drinks we ordered.

I had one of my first broom on my left arm. Broom tail to head going from the inside of my elbow to the inside of my wrist.

I also had 'my soul is in the sky' written in old script in a semicircle under my left breast, and a tiny quaffle on the inside of my right wrist.

"You're dedicated, huh?" He chuckled, obviously at my choice of body art.

"I also have my father's birthday in roman numerals right here," I pointed to my right collar bone, then to my left collar bone. "And the day I was scouted by the Goblins."

"Sentimental." He smirked, "I like it."

The waitress came back with our drinks and we ordered our food. Cedric's eyes nearly popped out of his head when I ordered what he was having and an extra serving of crisps.

"Are you really going to eat all of that?" He eyed me curiously, but I nodded, "Watch me."

He grinned at me and was about to say something else, but the waitress placed our plates infront of us. We thanked her.

Immediately I began stuffing my greedy gob, once again. Cedric tried to spark up a conversation multiple times, but I waved him off.

When I finished, my plate was clean and my cup empty. I licked my fingers clean and wiped my mouth with a napkin.

Leaing back into the booth, a rather loud belch escaped my lips and I slapped a hand over my mouth. "Excuse me!"

Cedric laughed it off, though. Thank Merlin. "You're fine. I like a woman who can eat."

Smiling back at him the waitress left the check on the table after she took our emply platters.

Out of habit, I reached for my purse but was scolded for doing so. "I'm paying." Cedric said in a low tone.

I sighed in defeat and placed my bag back on my lap, watching him walk over to the cashier.

Reaching into my purse again, I pulled out some lip balm and applied it. I hated lip gloss and other sticky things like that.

I hated the feeling, and it doesn't taste too good either. I suck on my lip too much for all that fuss.

"Where to know?" Cedric asked, sliding into the booth.

"Well, where do you want to go?" I smirked, "We could go there first before I drag you to the quidditch shop and ignore you again.."

A mock hurt expression was on his face and he placed a hand to his heart, saying that I've hurt him.

I giggled and pulled him by the hand and out the door. He pulled back, of coarse. Making my body collide with his.

"Who do you think you're pulling?" He smirked, wrapping his arms around me.

I was dangerously close to his face when I whispered, "You." Then I left him there.

Slipping amongst the crowd of people, I found the quidditch supply shop.

Cedric must have thought I was joking when I told him I'd ignore him in here. Quidditch is my first love! Food is my second, Oliver my thir-

Oh for god's sake, my inner subconcious needs to shut the hell up sometimes..

I ended up buying a new set of pads, cleats, and equipment to make the boys practices more intense.

Cedric was following close behind with arms folded and a look of annoyance but he'll live.

I sent him smiles and kissed his cheek a few times, trying to brighten up his sour face.

Deciding the best coarse of action to carrying the seven new bags that I've aquired would be to shrink them, I did so and tossed them in my purse.

I grinned up at Cedric and squeezed my hands through his folded arms, "I'm all yours, now. Promise."

Let's just say he didn't look convinced. Just rolled his eyes and patted my hand, allowing me to hold onto him.

It was nearing 4pm. That's why he was so cranky.. I spent three hours in that shop. Three hours of distractions!

"I'm sorry, Cedric.." I admitted, gazing up at the stone faced man hopefully. He sighed, but kept looking forward.

I'm so not apologizing more than once. Take it or leave it, Hufflepuff!

I removed my arms from his and was close to storming off, but he caught my hand. "Where are you going?"

"Well if you're going to be all pissy then I'm leaving!" I tried pulling away, but he gripped tighter.

"Maybe I wouldn't be like this if my date wouldn't of passed me up for a bloody beater's bat!"

Okay, so maybe I spent just a few minutes analyzing every bat in the shop deciding which would be the most durable. It was only a few minutes, I swear.

No, I'm lying. Was more like an hour. But who else but Cedric was counting?

"It wasn't my fault that I need them! Some aren't as strong others!" I huffed, attempting to release myself, only to be pulled back into his arms

"What are you smirking at?" I was glaring up at him, not even slightly amused.

"You're cute when you're angry." The smirk was still present and my glare more intense.

Cedric chuckled and threw an arm over my shoulders, making me scowl up at him.

We continued down the path like that until I spotted a certain Keeper with a blond clinging to him.

My face heated up. How could he still be able to tourture me an not even know it?

I swallowed the lump in my throat and moved closer to Cedric, wrapping an arm around his waist much to his pleasure.

I blinked a few times to clear out my watery eyes. They were like that was because of the strong breeze. That sounds about right. It was OBVIOUSLY the breeze.

Merlin, I need to stop this sissy stuff. Cedric pulled me closer as Oliver passed, planting a kiss on my temple.

I heard Oliver curse and smirked a little. Maybe I could use Cedric to my advantage?

No, no, no. Jessica, we don't use people. That's not nice. Definately rude. Not admirable in the least!

We chatted a little on the carriage ride back. Mainly about quidditch, which annoyed him to no end. Honestly, I kept it on that subject for my own sick pleasure. I enjoyed laughing at him while he's irritated.

His arm never retreated from my shoulders, however. Only once to help me off the carriage when we got back to the castle.

As soon as we reached the top of the stairs to the main door, I shoved Cedric to the side but ended up running into the door frame.

Yes I, Jessica Cesari attempted to push Cedric to embarrass him, but ended up running into a door frame. Not the door. Which was open, by the way.

Merlin, I'm hopeless. I rubbed my forehead, peeling myself off of the ground and dusting off my skirt.

Cedric was in hysterics. "It wasn't even THAT funny." I mumbled, finally walking into the castle.

How is it that I managed to not fall or hurt myself in any way until I reached Hogwarts?

I shook my head, trying to ignore the bruise forming above my eyebrows and Cedric's calls.

His steps just kept getting closer and closer no matter how fast I tried walking. Short legs can only travel so far!

"Jess!" Once again I was stuck to Cedric's chest. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't of laughed."

I rolled my eyes, looking else where. "I had a good time with you today." His voice was so smooth.

I sighed, looking him in the eye. "That's nice."

He kissed my forehead, "Maybe we could do this again?"

As much as he annoyed me, I couldn't refuse. He was TOO cute..

"Yes." I smirked, removing his hands from my waist. I kissed his cheek and left him there, heading for the dungeons.

The moment I stepped foot through the stone entry, Miles tackled me.

"I MISSED YOU!" he wailed, I giggled and pushed him away.

"I wasn't even gone the whole day, Mi." He pulled me by my hands off of the ground

"I know. But I really, really missed you, Wife!" He said pouting then squeezed me, walking that way over to the sofas.

"How was it?" Kara asked excitedly. I didn't answer. My group was all there, and all of them then started to bombard me with questions, but I only smirked and said nothing about it.

"Wonderful weather we're having today, Mi, yeah?" I smirked at Miles and he caught on quickly,

"Oh yeah, not to warm and not too cold. Just peachy," He grinned, I couldn't help but giggle at him. He's so amusing!

Our friends glared at us once again. Upset that we weren't paying them any mind, perhaps?

"I bet she did have a bloody fantastic time with her Hufflepuff." Cassius growled. I stuck my tounge out, blowing a raspberry at him and got off the sofa, carrying on up to my dorm. I would not dignify that with a verbal response.

I removed my bags from my purse and changed them back to their normal size and putting them away in the front of my closet..

I hid my sweets in my bottom drawer then decided on changing into some shorts and fuzzy slippers that just so happened to have my face on them.

It's not like I'm full of myself. A fan made them for me. So, why not put them to good use?

Reaching into my bottom drawer once more, I grabbed the first box of sweets I touched and bolted back down the stairs and next to Miles, chatting about anything but my date until dinner came.

"I don't get it! I just don't get it!" I muttered. Pacing back and forth infront of the fireplace has been the latest trend for me, apprently.

Jessica fucking Cesari will be the death of me.

"Mate, sit down. It was just a date. Nothing happened, me and the Slytherin were taking turns following her. He absolutely detests Diggory. Quite funny, really." Steve rolled his eyes with a laugh, detaching his lips from a 5th year he met down at Hogsmeade.

I sighed. He was the only other guy she would tell everything and anything to besides me. Maybe I should listen..

"Besides, I told Ced he better not try no funny business. I'll break every bone in his body." He smirked at the memory but got up to lead his date up to the dorms.

"Steve!" He motioned for the girl to go on and turned back, eye brows raised. "Does she still love me?"

He sighed and looked to his feet. "I'm not the one you should have this conversation with." He carried on the rest of the way up, leaving me in my thoughts.

"Aye, Wood!" The twins clapped their hands on my back. "Plans all into place."

"Should take about six to seven hours for her affects to sink in entirely-" Fred grinned.

George mocked his brother, "So let's go to dinner and watch the first part unfold, shall we?"

I nodded and allowed them to guide me to the great hall. Nervous wasn't the word to describe how I was feeling.

She was seated and smiling with her friends. I had a feeling part of me was going to regret what the twins were about to do..

I sat at my table, occasionally sneaking glances at her here and there. "Mail's here!" The twins smirked at me.

Aw fuck. This is it. I watched as an owl carried a heart shaped box and dropped it into her arms.

She pulled the note that was attached and read it, along with the rest of her friends who surrounded it.

Jessica was the first to stare in my direction. I held her gaze until the rest of the Slytherins glared.

"What did you do?" I growled at the twins. They grinned.

"Oh, we just sent her a box of sweets from you."

Bloody hell.. I'm in for it.

Her group finally turned back to their food. I watched as she shrugged and slowly opened the box.

She smiled and took a piece of chocolate, holding the container out for her friends to take.

Oh no...

The Weasley's were smiling from ear to ear and high fived. "Yes!"

Talk about killing two birds with one stone. The group of slytherins devoured the box in less than a minute.

"What's going to happen to them?" I questioned, poking at my potatoes.

"All in good time, lad. Don't worry, it wears off in 24 hours. They'll be fine by the end of supper tomorrow."

How could they be so calm? I've just declared war on Slytherin!
